Judicial report: (1) All greyhounds trained by M&J Hill were scratched without penalty under Rule 64.6 due to illness on the part of the co-trainer Mr M.Hill. The greyhounds scratched were WINNE WILLOW (Race 2), MITCHELL DEAN (Race 5), LEMAQUIS WILLOW (Race 6), ROB'S MATE (Race 7) and RONROSE HILL (Race 12). (2) SAN SEBASTIAN (JF Allen) successfully completed a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with Rule 80.1.a. (3) Mr L.Philips, the catcher for OPAWA ANDREA in Race 8 was warned of his obligations under the Dress Code.

Race 1	www.greyhoundsaspets.org.nz - C0 - 310	From the jump MISTY AS ran inwards tightening MASTER AT ARMS, and GRAND APACHE shifted ground inwards checking LOTS OF BEERSIES. In the run to the turn MISTY AS continued to run inwards and bumped OZARKS DAUGHTER who lost ground. On the turn LOTS OF BEERSIE ran outwards and pushed HOMEBUSH DOBBY wide.
Race 2	Roofing Solutions Sprint - C1 - 310	At the jump GIGANAIRE shifted ground inwards checking OPAWA LUCKY. Shortly afterwards ADMIRAL ADAM ran in checking MASSAGE ONLY and KATIE ATE IT. In the run to the turn OPAWA LUCKY moved outwards inconveniencing OPAWA LUCKY. On the turn MASSAGE ONLY ran wide and pushed OPAWA LUCKY and ADMIRAL ADAM wider.
Race 3	Green Island Barber Maiden Stakes - C0 - 545	PASS WITH CARE was very slow to jump and lost several lengths. At the jump MR. ZAFONIC shifted ground sharply inwards and clipped the rear of KINLOCH ACTION, with KINLOCH SILVER then running outwards and checking KINLOCH ACTION. On the first turn SUSAN JEWEL ran outwards and forced ZAHRA MOON very wide. At the top of the turn KINLOCH SILVER checked outwards off LADY MUI and collided with PASS WITH CARE who stumbled and lost all chance.
Race 4	Brian Bagley Driver Licensing Stakes - C2 - 545	From the jump OPAWA TANIA was tightened between OPAWA BRO and OPAWA RAPID and lost ground. Into the home straight SHEZ KEEN, OPAWA RAPID and TRUST ISSUES all bumped and lost momentum.
Race 5	Otago Daily Times Sprint - C1 - 310	From the jump WANDY ON IN shifted ground inwards from the No. 8 box with the dogs on his inside being tightened. In the run to the turn BIZARRO ran inwards and checked SAILORS COLLAR and SLINGO. Into the turn SAILORS COLLAR shifted down checking SLINGO, and on the turn COSMIC BOLERO ran inwards badly checking SLINGO.
Race 6	Bramwell Scaffolding Sprint - C2 - 310	YALDHURST EDWARD and PHAT PANTS were slow to jump. Into the turn PHAT PANTS when improving was tightened off the heels of NO MORE BEERSIE and lost momentum. On the turn YALDHURST EDWARD checked outwards off YALDHURST EDWARD and checked MCJOPSON. Into the home straight PHAT PANTS shifted ground outwards and checked YALDHURST EDWARD.
Race 7	Roofing Solutions Stakes - C3 - 545	KAREN'S MAGIC and JESSIE SURFS were both slow to jump. From the jump DREAM ACADEMY ran outwards from the No.3 box and pushed OPAWA AMY out into the path of PUNCH ON JAIME with both these dogs checked. DREAM ACADEMY continued to shift outwards into the first turn tightening OPAWA AMY and checking PUNCH ON JAIME. Further on the first turn OPAWA STELLA ran outwards forcing DREAM ACADEMY and OPAWA AMY wide on the track.
Race 8	Brocklebanks Dry Cleaners Stakes - C4 - 545	From the jump OPAWA WEBBY shifted sharply outwards checking GEE CEE BEE who lost ground. On the first turn AMBILIGHT and DEANNE'S FANTASY bumped and lost momentum. Into the home straight THUMB PRINT TONY checked off the heels of AMBILIGHT with a resulting check to GEE CEE BEE.
Race 9	Speedprint Shop Stakes - C4/5 - 545	KNOW DANGER was slow to jump. Into the first turn KNOW DANGER checked off the heels of BOTANY KEVIN and went wide on the track. Further into the bend STOLEN MONEY and KNOW CERTAINTY bumped and lost momentum. Shortly after CAWBOURNE WITCH checked off the heels of BOTANY KEVIN and checked KNOW DANGER. On the final turn KNOW DANGER was checked when shifting ground inwards and making heavy contact with ANDREA.
Race 10	A. F. Johnston Electrical Sprint - C3 - 310	From the jump RINGA DING ran outwards checking JED NORTON. Into the turn QUE TEE PIX shifted outwards and was clipped by the trailing JED NORTON. As a result QUE TEE PIX fell. The dog regained her feet to finish the race a distant last and was subject to a veterinary check which revealed bruising to the bitch with a five day stand down recommended.
Race 11	Green Island Super Liquor Sprint - C4 - 310	GOLDSTAR CHUMLEE was slow away and lost ground. On the turn into the straight KNOW JEALOUSY and ON THE LEVEL bumped and lost momentum.
Race 12	Racing Again Tuesday 7th October - C5 - 310	KERAMUS lost ground from the jump. Into the turn SANDI CLAWS shifted ground inwards checking the improving LITTLE REGUS.
