Track: Good There where some concerns raised midway through the meeting regarding the grooming of the track which was attended to The track provided good footing throughout the meeting with some good times run All other equipment operated well.
Scales: Correct at all weights
Health and Safety comment: Nil

Judicial report: MR JIMMY ( N Udy ) race 8 has been stood down Rule 81.1 to complete a satisfactory trial/s and to provide a vet certificate clearance before racing again.

Race 1	ABSOLUTELY ELECTRICAL C4 - C4 - 305	Soon after the start ROCK ON SPRITE ran outwards bumping in to CHOCDEE ALICE , these two runners bumped and jostled for some distance racing to the first turn where ROCK ON SPRITE had to force his way out to keep off the back of BOSTON STRIKE, KASIM from wider out raced past these runners angling inwards forcing STARBURST BLANCH in on to CHOCDEE ALICE and ROCK ON SPRITE who came out checking CAWBOURNE FLOW and BLUE SENIOR ,all these runners lost ground ,ROCK ON SPRITE, CHOCDEE ALICE and BLUE SENIOR ran wide on to the top bend.
Race 2	www.RacingTips.co.nz C4 - C4 - 305	Racing on to the bend KAZILLION was bumped by MATILDA'S BABE and ran out on to LEGERDEMAIN bumping him, KAZILLION stumbled for a stride losing some momentum but recovered to finish in to 4th placing at the line.
Race 3	LIQUORLAND WANGANUI C4 - C4 - 305	SHEIK 'EM UP was slow away by several lengths in the early running ,he made some ground along the inner across the top bend. Soon after the start VICKI'S QUEST ran in bumping SIR RICHIE. WEE DIGER from box 8 raced wide throughout covering a fair amount of extra ground coming home in last placing at the line .
Race 4	Racing Series Graduation HT 1 - NZRSq - 520 Heat 1	THIS TIME PEDRO and CURIOUS LIFE raced widest around the first bend. OPAWA JED was referred to the vet at the handlers request.
Race 5	Racing Series Graduation HT 2 - NZRSq - 520 Heat 2	Soon after the jump SEMANTICS, THRILLING AVA and BOB'S EYE all came together ,THRILLING AVA was checked back from between these runners ,JINJA PAT ran out coming together with BOB'S EYE. OPAWA JEN was away well from box 8 racing across to be handy in the running racing in to the first bend where she was tightened catching heels stumbling slightly going back to the rear finishing several lengths in the rear at the line and was referred to the vet for assessment.
Race 6	Racing Series Graduation HT 3 - NZRSq - 520 Heat 3	Soon after the start OPAWA AMY ran in as KISSING GWYNETH ran out resulting in ACAPELLA being tightened and jostled back ,KISSING GWYNETH caught the hindquarters of TEN POINT ONE as she raced out to the centre of the track. Racing to the first bend SPEEDY FEET from box 8 raced to the lead angling inwards forcing FLIP FLIPPA in on to OPAWA AMY, TEN POINT ONE and OPAWA CUDDLES , FLIP FLIPPA went down on her haunches for a stride ,ACAPELLA in behind was checked and ran out wide off heels in to and around the bend towards the back straight . FLIP FLIPPA was referred to the vet for assessment
Race 7	Racing Series Graduation HT 4 - NZRSq - 520 Heat 4	This race was delayed 1 minute at the request of Race Day Control. In the run to the post first time OPAWA KAREN raced across pushing ADDA BOY ZEKE inwards on to WEEPU, ADDA BOY ZEKE was tightened and checked back a length or so ,WEEPU angled inwards as HOMEBUSH VIOLET came out resulting in NECTAR being checked and HOMEBUSH VIOLET catching heels going back to the rear. Racing towards the back straight OPAWA KENDAL was tightened on the inner and ran out across heels checking herself losing ground back to the rear and was unable to improve there after finishing towards the rear at the line . OPAWA KENDAL was referred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found.
Race 8	Racing Series Graduation HT 5 - NZRSq - 520 Heat 5	KILCHURN ( fav ) began very awkwardly from box 4 stumbling and almost spreading himself ,he recovered in to stride quickly to race up behind the leading group where he was held up for some distance before gaining clear racing room to make big ground finishing in to 3rd placing at the line. racing in to the first bend MARIAH arcing handy was forced to angle outwards to avoid heels forcing CONTEMPORANEOUS wide at this point. Nearing the home turn MR JIMMY racing towards the inner was observed to become awkward in his galloping action for several strides before falling as the field entered the home straight ,MARIAH in behind was checked as she raced past the fallen runner and lost momentum finishing a margin in the rear at the lure. MR JIMMY recovered to his feet and was referred to the vet for assessment where he was found to have no abnormalities . Trainer N Udy was shown a replay of the race in regards to the dog falling ,after consideration the Stewards have imposed a stand down under rule 81 to complete a satisfactory trial/s and to undergo a vet check and clearance before being eligible to race again.
Race 9	PALAMOUNTAINS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITION C4 - C4 - 520	TRIDENT jumped out straight across bumping GIRL PRIDE sideways ,TRIDENT went back a length as RED CRYSTAL angled across. racing in to the first bend WALLACE LAD raced across bumping BACKYARD BULLY inwards ,WALLACE LAD raced past BACKYARD BULLY who was forced to check off heels going out wide, WALLACE LAD was checked a couple of times heading in to the back straight where he soon after made good ground to finish in to 3rd placing at the line. RED CRYSTAL was referred to the vet at the Trainers request later on in the meeting.
Race 10	WANGANUI CHRONICLE C5 - C5 - 305	EXPONENTIAL LILY ( fav ) was only fairly away from box and was forced to race wide throughout where she struggled to make ground and only battled in the run home finishing towards the rear ,the race was run in a pretty slick time of 17.30.
Race 11	CROMBIE LOCKWOOD (NZ) LTD C5 - C5 - 305	Soon after the start ALMOST GOT IT and BOSTON BLAZE came together, ALMOST GOT IT lost a length back in behind BIT COIN improved past forcing BOSTON BLAZE across the face of ALMOST GOT IT who caught heels and stumbled losing momentum and ground ,SWEET LIES caught the back of RUN LACEY RUN and went back on to BIT COIN both dogs losing ground and where unable to get in to contention there after.
Race 12	FAREWELL KEITH COPPINS C5 - C5 - 305	In the run to the first turn YA LAUGHIN' was bumped and jostled for several strides as ARMED FORCES attempted to angle inwards ,YA LAUGHIN' lost a length catching heels stumbling slightly when going back to last in the running and was further hampered for a stride or so as BAD WEEK raced past angling inwards. YA LAUGHIN' was unable to get in to contention there after finishing towards the rear at the line.
