Track: Good The track was presented in a very good racing order all other equipment operated well through out the programme.
Scales: Correct at all weights
Health and Safety comment: Nil

Judicial report: DUCHESS QUEEN ( J McArthur ) completed a satisfactory trial Rule 81.
OPAWA TOKEN ( S Maher ) SUMMER TENSION ( A Duganzich )were both withdrawn from race 8 Liquorland Wanganui C3 Final before the field was drawn vet certificates were provided.
Handler Ms Sarah Clausen was spoken to advisedly in regards to the appropriate dress code of GRNZ & Clubs in the future.

Race 1	Absolutely Electrical C2 - C2 - 520	MORE SALT NEEDED stood when the lids went up missing the start by several lengths and was unable to get in to contention thereafter finishing towards the rear at the line . SPEEDY FEET was away well in the early run to the first turn ,KISSING GWYNETH raced across towards the rail bumping SPEEDY FEET checking her in on to OPAWA CASSIDY, SPEEDY FEET became unbalanced for a couple of strides going back through the field towards the rear and never improved there after.
Race 2	Harrison Hire Master C3 - C3 - 305	On getting away from the boxes SPOT ON MAGGIE and CRYSTAL WAVE came together, WHITEY'S GONE then tried to angle inwards bumping CRYSTAL WAVE in on to SPOT ON MAGGIE all three runners jostled for some strides. WHITEY'S GONE ran in bumping CAWBOURNE BULLY ,SUPER ZIP ZIP was tightened and checked back from between these runners losing ground and was unable to improve there after fi9nishing in the rear at the line. CRYSTAL WAVE ran wide in to and around the bend.
Race 3	www.racingtips.co.nz C3 - C3 - 305	COSMIC CHOICE went up with the lids slightly being last away by a couple of lengths, he crossed to the rail and attempted to improve racing in to the first bend where he was checked when running in to the back of DOLLY PEG, COSMIC CHOICE went outwards losing momentum finishing in the rear group at the line.
Race 4	J P Print (Petone) C3 - C3 - 305	TONGARIRO ( fav ) was last away ,he attempted to make ground along the inner racing in to the first turn, changed ground to make ground around the outer across the top bend ,he only battled in the run home to finish in 5th placing at the line. Racing in to the first turn LYNNY SOUTHCOMBE was checked catching the heels of CAWBOURNE ONYX as this runner angled in across her racing line ,LYNNY SOUTHCOMBE lost ground but ran on in to 4th placing at the line . MISS SOFTLY was hampered racing in to the first turn as TONGARIRO moved ground, MISS SOFTLY never recovered to finish several lengths in the rear at the line and was referred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found. LYNNY SOUTHCOMBE was referred to the vet on the request of the handler
Race 5	Palamountains Scientific Nutrition C3/4 - C3/4 - 305	GLENADDIS was a late scratching prior to leaving her kennels after Trainer B Goldsack advised the club that the dog was showing signs of soreness in the right hind on being loaded to leave for the track ,GLENADDIS was presented to the vet on course where a 5 day stand down was imposed. In the early run to the first turn OUR JACK ATTACK moved ground outwards from box 4 as CHOCDEE ALICE from box 6 angled across ,OUR JACK ATTACK caught his heels and fell recovering to his feet where he soon after jumped to the inside of the track and did not complete the race. OUR JACK ATTACK was caught referred to the vet for assessment. Racing in to the first CAWBOURNE FLOW in the lead angled inwards tightening NITRO LUIS in on to KAZILLION for a stride or so ,KAZILLION lost a length or so she recovered to finish in to 2nd placing at the line. ANOTHER JEWEL was held up for a few strides on the home turn when well back ,she made ground late to finish in to 4th placing at the line.
Race 6	Crombie Lockwood (NZ) Ltd C3/4 - C3/4 - 305	Getting away from the start STELLAR FORCE and LEGERDEMAIN bumped, soon after LEGERDEMAIN angled inwards bumping WEE DIGGER in on to EMBEE DEE who ran inwards on to TALK IT OVER checking this runner, TALK IT OVER lost ground back to the rear and was forced to check across the heels of EMBEE DEE as this runners crossed out in to her racing line as they turned for the run in. WEE DIGER ran widest in to and across the top bend covering a fair amount of extra ground in the running.
Race 7	Wanganui Security C3/4 - C3/4 - 305	RUN STACEY RUN was racing handy on to the bend where she was observed to go back through the field to the rear and was uncomfortable in her galloping action there after. RUN STACEY RUN was referred to the vet for assessment where she was found to be suffering from deep pectoral muscle soreness,
Race 8	Liquorland Wanganui C3 Final - C3f - 520	THRILLING DYLAN began awkwardly for a stride or so . Racing in to the first bend BIGTIME JET ran outwards to avoid the heels of THRILLING DYLAN forcing BOB'S EYE and JOHNNY RITZA to run wide on to and around the bend in to the back straight, both runners lost ground and were unable to get in to contention there after .
Race 9	Keenan Concrete C4/5 - C4/5 - 520	In the run to the first bend TIFINO attempted to angle outwards as CHECK THE MAIL came in resulting in WALLACE LAD being checked and squeezed back from between these runners all three runners were hampered for a couple of strides at this point. Racing around the first bend ROYAL RUNNER ran in bumping ALWAY'S WELCOME, ROYAL RUNNER lost a few lengths at this point and was unable to get in to contention there after finishing towards the rear at the line.
Race 10	Christmas At The Races 5th 12th 19th December C4/5 - C5 - 305	Soon after the start KASIM, CAWBOURNE BURN and POPSOME TAGS all came together. On the home turn CAWBOURNE BURN angled inwards ,EVER SO HOPEFUL caught a hind leg of CAWBOURNE BURN both dogs were in the rear at this point . The trainer of CAWBOURNE BURN requested a vet assessment on returning to the wash bay.
Race 11	The Rock 95.2FM C5 - C5 - 305	Racing in to the first turn EXPONETIAL LILY came in on to the shoulder of ALL THE MILK hampering her for a couple of strides ,in behind these runners ALDONZA became awkwardly placed behind ALL THE MILK ,ALDONZA had to angle out off heels coming together with SUPER ROOSTER for a stride or so ,ALDONZA lost a couple of lengths , soon after SWEET LIES made ground up along the inner running on to the heels of ALDONZA losing momentum and ground back to the rear of the field ,she was unable to get back in to contention finishing in the rear at the line. BAD WEEK raced wide in to and around the bend covering a fair amount of extra ground.
Race 12	Book Your Function @ Hatrick C5 - C5 - 305	EL JETTA got away from his handler in the back parade area pre race ,he only went a few metres on to the concrete pad before being caught, he was vetted and cleared to race. EL JETTA was slow away being several lengths in the rear in the early rush, he improved along the inner across the top in to midfield but only battled in the run home to finish in 6th placing at the line. BLUE SENIOR was away well racing handy to the first turn, he was bumped in the hindquarters by ENAZUMA both runners became unbalanced losing a couple of lengths BLUE SENIOR then caught the back of ENAZUMA as this runner improved on his outer, BLUE SENIOR stumbled for a stride going back to the rear and was unable to get in to contention there fater.
