Track: Dead The track was presented in a good racing order, all other equipment operated well through out the programme.
Scales: Correct at all weights
Health and Safety comment: Nil

Judicial report: The track was assessed as being Dead for the early part of the meeting but was upgraded to good for the latter part of the meeting.

Race 1	Palmerston North Greyhound Racing Club 2014 C0 - C0 - 375	NO PARKING dwelt at the start being last in the early running , he improved across the top bend where he was held for several strides and was unable to get in to contention there after. FAT BOYZ FLYER ran widest in to the home straight.
Race 2	Manawatu Raceway C0 - C0 - 457	DIGGER SOCKS was away well from box 3 racing up handy in to the first bend when tightened and checked sideways catching the heels of RIKKI'S REBEL ,both dogs ere checked ,DIGGER SOCKS stumbled slightly going back to a clear last in the running finishing well back at the line and as referred to the vet for assessment. SCOTT THE BEST after being slowest away raced wide thereafter covering a fair amount of extra ground through out the running.
Race 3	www.racingdogs.co.nz C1 Feature - C1 - 375	Racing in to the first turn HERE WITHOUT YOU ran on heels was then tightened and jostled stumbling for a stride or so going back to the rear, she was observed to be uncomfortable in her galloping action there after finishing well back at the line and was referred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found. Racing in to the top bend there was tightening and jostling between KING'S SELECTIION ,SHOWEM BABY and FLIRT WITH ME for several strides.
Race 4	Grant Irvine Pharmacy C1 Feature - C1 - 457	HEAR HARE HERE was well away from box 1 in to an early lead racing towards the first turn, he was tightened and jostled as CONTEMPORANEOUS came across to the rail ,HEAR HARE HERE was shuffled back to the rear and he never improved his position there after finishing in the rear at the line and was referred to the vet for assessment
Race 5	Interislander C2 Final - C2f - 375	Soon after the start SEMANTICS ran in sharply in to the shoulder of GAY THORLEY , I'M A CATCH was checked tightened and checked back from between these runners losing momentum back to the rear. Racing in to the first turn BIGTIME CHIP just in the lead between ELLE PACKER and ACAPELLA was checked as VINNIE BAXTER raced between runners trying to make racing room, BIGTIME CHIP was jostled and bumped for several strides going back to the rear and was unable to improve there after.
Race 6	Yella Mustard at Stud C1 - C1 - 375	From the jump ALLEGO CHASER ran inwards sharply across the heels of WHY OH WHY forcing BOLT ALLEGRO inwards in the first few strides. Racing on to the top bend BOLT ALLEGRO was forced to check off the heels of CAWBOURNE MALKY going back on to WHEELIE BIN who was unable to avoid BOLT ALLEGO and fell . WHEELIE BIN recovered to his feet to finish on to the lure some distance back and was referred to the vet for assessment.
Race 7	No Moore Hassell Petfoods, Levin C2 - C2 - 457	GOLD STONE was leading to the first turn was hampered for a stride or so as WEEPU raced past cutting in towards the rail, GOLD STONE lost a length or so CURIOUS LIFE raced up on his outer running wide in to the bend with NECTER well back following out widest across the top bend in to the home straight finishing in the rear at the line.
Race 8	Greyhounds As Pets C3 - C3 - 375	ALLEGRO MASTER, DASHER RUM, TONGARIRO and SMIRNOFF all began awkwardly for a stride or so, soon after TONGARIRO was forced to check back off heels as DASHER RUM raced across, TONGARIRO lost a couple of lengths at this point. IT'S A DOLL raced wide in to and across the top bend covering a fair amount of extra ground where she finished in last placing at the line.
Race 9	Outback Trading Company Ltd. C4 - C4 - 375	Soon after the jump there was bumping and jostling between ROCK ON SPRITE, BOSTON STRIKE, MERCENARY and WISE CRACK LAD for several strides. Soon after racing in to the first bend ROCK ON SPRITE was bumped in the hindquarters and went back to the rear ,he drifted further back in the run home to finish a margin in the rear at the line and was referred to the vet for assessment.
Race 10	Steve The Auctioneer Davis C5 - C5 - 375	BLUE AND CURLY a favoured runner was forced to race wide in to and across the top bend where he was hampered for a stride or so as KASIM ran on to and across his heels ,in the early run home BLUE AND CURLY came together with FLYING TRANCE both runners jostled for a couple of strides with both runners well back.
Race 11	Thankyou for supporting Thomas Russell Fundraiser C4/5 - C4/5 - 457	SWEET RUBYJANE weighed in 1.8 kgs over her last race weight on 8-8-2014 the kennel rep advised the Stewards that this was an intentional increase. Racing in to the first turn MAMMY BROWN attempted to angled inwards pushed WALLACE LAD in on to the heels of SWEET RUBYJANE who was almost dragged down for a stride, MAMMY BROWN went sideways for a stride or so, SWEET RUBYJANE went back towards the rear, a few strides on WALLACE LAD moved out in to the racing line of MAMMY BROWN who caught the back of WALLACE LAD and fell hampering SWEET RUBYJANE who was jumped her hind legs losing more ground finishing well back at the line. MAMMY BROWN recovered to her feet to finish on to the lure some distance behind the field and was referred to the vet for assessment.
Race 12	See You Next Monday Stakes C2/3 - C2/3 - 457	BULET TOOTH TONY was away well in the early run to the first turn he was tightened racing in to the bend as TEN POINT ONE raced past angling down to the rail forcing PREMIER DIVISION in, BULET TOOTH TONY went back on to THRILLING DYLAN who was checked and held up for a couple of strides going back past midfield. THRILLING DYLAN finished strongly in the run home to finish in to 3rd placing at the line. JOHNNY RITZA raced out wide racing in to and across the top bend covering a fair amount of extra ground throughout the running finishing on well for 5th placing at the line.
