| Race 1 | NZTR & NZ Jockeys Association C2 Heat 1 - C2q - 375 Heat 1 | SEMANTICS was up in weight by 2.4 kilograms from its last start weight on 11.06.14 and this was an intentional increase. MOULIN BLUE and THOU ROMEO both began awkwardly and collided losing three lengths. MOULIN BLUE recovered well and made up ground to finish in 3rd place. |
| Race 2 | Otaki & Awapuni Track Challenge C2 Heat 2 - C2q - 375 Heat 2 | UNO GREEN was slow to begin losing three lengths and she stayed back throughout to finish in last place. BULET TOOTH TONY shifted out to race wide covering extra ground on the bend and he finished well back. |
| Race 3 | Levin & Hawera Track Challenge C3 - C3 - 375 | TONGARIRO was the slowest to begin but gradually made up ground and finished well for 2nd place. IT'S A DOLL checked off the heels of FLYING BLAKE going into the bend and she never recovered and finished in last place. |
| Race 4 | Magic Millions Aus Ltd & Geoff Bate C0 Final - C0f - 457 | TEPIRITA MEGA was slow to begin losing three lengths. BORIS shifted in from the start and collided with CAWBOURNE CROUCH and WALL AGE and they all lost several lengths and they stayed back for the remainder of the race to finish in the last three places. WALL AGE and CAWBOURNE CROUCH collided again on the bend losing further ground. |
| Race 5 | NZ Track Managers C5 - C5 - 375 | WINFIELD BLACK checked off the back of KASIM going into the bend and shifted out colliding with GUS which was forced wide over extra ground. |
| Race 6 | Outback Trading Company Ltd. & Wanganui Veterinary Services C4 - C4 - 375 | RED CRYSTAL blundered in her initial stride out of the boxes and settled at the rear. FIGLIA checked off the heels of BOLT RAMA on the bend and they both lost ground. FIGLIA then shifted out to race wide entering the home straight and finished well back. |
| Race 7 | Quay Marine & Racing Dogs C1 - C1 - 457 | BOSTON MONA shifted in going tov the first corner and caused checks to COYOTE CAUGHT YA and SUNDAY DRIVER and they went back to the rear and never recovered. TROJAN TROY shifted in going into the bend and hampered BOSTON LASS for a short distance and she lost ground. |
| Race 8 | Creative Catering & The Rock FM C5 - C5 - 375 | CAWBOURNE PORSHE shifted in soon after the start and checked WINNING KNOCKA which went back to the rear. A short distance further on, CAWBOURNE PORSHE was checked and she went back to the rear and she stayed there for the remainder of the race. CAWBOURNE PORSHE made contact with the rail on the bend and was referred to the Vet for assessment and cleared of injury. |
| Race 9 | Manawatu Harness Racing Club C1 Selected Field - C1 - 457 | BEHEMOTH jumped on terms with the other runners but was checked soon after losing five lengths. He recovered well to make up ground and finished in 6th place. TE MAARI STYLE lay out onto ALL IN BERLIN on the bend and into the straight and caused ALL IN BERLIN to become unbalanced and she lost ground as a result. |

| Race 11 | Brad Canty Stakes C3/4 - C3/4 - 457 | JOHNNY RITZA checked off heels going to the first corner and drifted off the back of the field by three lengths but made up some ground to finish in5th place. RIGS was checked entering the home straight , went back to last and finished in that position. |
| Race 12 | Thomas Russell Invitation C5 - INV - 457 | KWASANT and RENE RANGER brushed together and lost ground going to the first corner and a short distance further on, WAY TO CRUDE and RENE RANGER bumped together and lost ground with RENE RANGER the most affected and he lost three lengths. He then made up some ground to finish in 6th place. |
