| Race 1 | ABSOLUTELY ELECTRICAL C1 - C1 - 305 | CAWBOURNE MALKY began awkwardly losing several lengths but he recovered very well to make up ground for 4th placing. HOMEBUSH BARABAS shifted out from the start dictating the line of WHERE'S RICAN who shifted out and this resulted in buffetting and checks to SHE SAID MAYBE, UNO CHARM and CALAMITY SUE and they were all inconvenienced and settled back and they stayed there to finish in the rear group. |
| Race 2 | HARRISON HIRE MASTER C2 - C2 - 305 | AZURE DREAMS began awkwardly but recovered quickly. MISS SOFTY shifted in going into the bend and hampered HOMEBUSH LIMBO momentarily. NOT BAD ran a little wide into the bend and forced SPOT ON MAGGIE over extra ground. AZURE DREAMS was referred to the Vet at the request of the Trainer and found to have infraspinatus muscle pain. |
| Race 3 | J P PRINT (PETONE) C2/3 - C2/3 - 520 | I'M A CATCH, MARIAH and OPAWA JEN bumped together going into the first bend and MARIAH and OPAWA JEN lost three lengths and they stayed back for the remainder of the race to finish near the rear. |
| Race 4 | www.RacingTips.co.nz C3 - C3 - 305 | STIFF DRINK weighed 2.8 kilograms up in weight from its last start on 09.06.14 and this was an intentional increase. STIFF DRINK shifted in from the start and bumped CAWBOURNE ONYX in onto JUST YOU WAIT and they were both slightly unbalanced for a short distance. JUST YOU WAIT and CAWBOURNE ONYX jostled together for some distance rounding the bend and entering the home straight, they collided with ALLEGRO MASTER and JUST YOU WAIT and CAWBOURNE ONYX fell. They regained their feet and finished onto the lure and were referred to the Vet for assessment and ALLEGRO MASTER lost several lengths and all chance in the incident. EMPTY BANK was observed to be limping following the race and was also referred to the Vet the Vet for assessment and cleared of injury but was possibly suffering from post race hypoxia. JUST YOU WAIT was found to have mild general bruising and CAWBOURNE ONYX suffered from pain in a pectoral muscle. |
| Race 5 | PALAMOUNTAINS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITION C3 - C3 - 305 | ANOTHER COLT, SHEIK EM UP and VINNY DOON were slow to begin losing three lengths. SMART COOKIE was handy to the lead going into the bend but was then jostled on two occasions and then drifted back through the field and finished three lengths last and was referred to the Vet for assessment and cleared of injury. |
| Race 6 | CHRISTMAS AT THE RACES 5TH,12TH & 19TH DECEMBER C2 FEATURE - C2 - 520 | ALPINADOR was slow to begin losing three lengths but made up ground to finish in 4th place. CONTEMPORANEOUS and ACAPELLA bumped together going into the first bend and both became unbalanced and stayed back for the remainder of the race to finish at the rear. |
| Race 7 | LIQUORLAND WANGANUI C4/5 - C4/5 - 305 | WILD AS ANGELS, VICKI'S QUEST and ARMED FORCES jostled together for some distance soon after the start and ALL IN MILK which was racing in behind was also affected and they all lost momentum for a few strides. WILD AS ANGELS recovered the best of the four and he finished in 3rd place. |
| Race 8 | CROMBIE LOCKWOOD (NZ) LTD C4/5 - C4/5 - 305 | NGAURUHOE shifted in abruptly from the start and hampered ENAZUMA, SWEET LIES, COSMIC FURY and WATERBUG and they were all briefly unbalanced and lost momentum. BELKARA and CAWBOURNE PORSHE came together and bumped for a short distance going into the bend and they both lost ground. |
| Race 9 | WANGANUI SECURITY C4/5 - C4/5 - 305 | SUPER ROOSTER and MERCENARY jostled together for some distance after the start and MERCENARY was eventually checked back to the rear and never recovered. EXPONENTIAL LILY lay in against WINFIELD BLACK racing around the bend and WINFIELD BLACK was eventually checked from his position and lost four lengths and never recovered. CIDER DRINKA and RUAPEHU jostled together for some distance in the back straight and entering the bend and they lost ground. |
| Race 10 | KEENAN CONCRETE C4/5 - C4/5 - 520 | ALWAYS WELCOME shifted in from the start and hampered INDIANA IZMIR, SMASH ALLEGRO, GRADUATION and ALLEGRO CLASS which all lost ground. RED CRYSTAL was tightened between ALWAYS WELCOME and MAMMY BROWN going to the first corner and was checked and fell. RED CRYSTAL caught a front paw in the muzzle in the incident and after regaining her feet, she stood on the track until she was quickly recovered by a Handler and taken off the track and referred to the Vet for assessment and cleared of injury. |
| Race 11 | THE ROCK 95.2FM C4 - C4 - 305 | RIGS weighed in 2.0 kilograms over its last start weight on 06.06.14 and this was an intentional increase. RIGS was very slow to begin losing four lengths but he made up ground well to finish in 3rd place. CRYSTAL WAVE, CAWBOURNE FLOW, FLYIING TRANCE and BARRYS WAY all suffered interferance going into the bend and they stayed back to finish in the last four places. |
| Race 12 | BOOK YOUR FUNCTION @ HATRICK C4 - C4 - 305 | CAWBOURNE TOMCAT was the slowest to begin and along with WEE DIGER, he raced very wide on the bend and they covered considerable extra ground and finished in the last two places. |
