Judicial report: At a Judicial hearing held at Phar Lap Raceway on 31 August, Trainer M Grant admitted a breach of Rule 80.1.o. in that he misconducted himself after the running of Race 11 at the Christchurch GRC meeting of 19 August by using offensive language to another handler. After hearing submissions on penalty the JCA fined Mr Grant the sum of $100.
Race 5 Co owner A McCOOK defended a breach of Rule 80.1.b in that ROCKWOOD ARCHIE failed to pursue the lure rounding the turn with the matter to be adjudicated by the JCA,

Race 1	Super Pets Stakes - C1 - 520	OPAWA ROB (7) was slow to begin . Into the first turn HOMEBUSH GINGER (2) was checked when in restricted room as BOTANY LIZ (3) shifted towards the running line.Into the back straight HOMEBUSH GINGER ran very wide for a distance.
Race 2	Protexin Sprint Heat 1 - C1q - 295 Heat 1	LOOK AT LUCY (1) and OHOKA STRIKA (3) were slow though the initial stages. Rounding the bend OHOKA STRIKA shifted off the heels of ALL ABOUT JAZZ(4) and made firm contact with CASTLE EDEN (7) . OHOKA STRIKA and CASTLE EDEN were both unbalanced for a distance when wide on the track . Into the straight MY FOOLISH HART (2) and HOMEBUSH RAIDER (5) jostled for a distance when placed in restricted room by UMANGA RANGA (6) which shifted inwards .
Race 3	Protexin Sprint Heat 2 - C1q - 295 Heat 2	BLAZING HOT (7) was slow through the initial stages. Shortly after the start MONACO DENVER (1) shifted outwards and made firm contact with KATIE ATE IT (3) which was forced onto SLEEPER AGENT (5) resulting in both these runners being unbalanced for a short distance. Rounding the bend MONACO DENVER marred the running of SLEEPER AGENT .Trainer M Hill admitted a breach of Rule 80.1.a with the Stewards imposing a stand down of 28 days and the completion of 1 satisfactory trial in company.
Race 4	Protexin Sprint Heat 3 - C1q - 295 Heat 3	TOO MUCH REBEL (4) was slow to begin. HOMEBUSH PAIGE (6) was squeezed between runners shortly after the start and got back as a result. Rounding the bend KERAMUS GIRL (3) checked off TOO MUCH REBEL and was further hampered when contacted from behind by LEMAQUIS WILLOW (2) . KERAMUS GIRL made firm contact with BIZZARO (7) which was shifted wider on the track as a result. Into the straight BIZZARO, KERAMUS GIRL and HOMEBUSH PAIGE (6) came together and were all unbalanced for a short distance when well back in the field.
Race 5	Protexin Sprint Heat 4 - C1q - 295 Heat 4	KENNY'S COMET (5) AND BOTANY WIN (6) came together and jostled in the run to the turn when racing tight to the inside of ROCKWOOD ARCHIE(7) which shifted inwards. Rounding the turn ABAGADO (3) was contacted from behind by ROCKWOOD ARCHIE and ran wide .Shortly thereafter ROCKWOOD ARCHIE ran wide turning its head outwards before making contact with ABAGADO. Stewards ordered a post race veterinarian inspection of ROCKWOOD ARCHIE which revealed no injuries. After considering submissions from co owner A McCook Stewards issued a charge pursuant to Rule 80.1.b in that ROCKWOOD ARCHIE failed to pursue the lure rounding the final bend . Mr McCook defended the charge with the Stewards imposing a 28 day stand down with one (1) satisfactory trial.
Race 6	Happy 50th Birthday Garry Cleeve Stakes - C1 - 520	KNOW CLOWN (6) fell shortly after the start when in tight racing quarters.
Race 7	Protexin Sprint Heat 5 - C1q - 295 Heat 5	OHOKA FAITH (5) was slow to begin. Rounding the bend GIN SLING (2) fell when checked from the inside. A post race veterinary inspection of GIN SLING revealed no abnormalities. Shortly thereafter JET TO MARS (8) was bumped heavily from the inside by MR NOVEMBER (4),JET TO MARS gave ground quickly as a result.
Race 8	Protexin Sprint Heat 6 - C1q - 295 Heat 6	PUMA PANTS (3) and OHOKA JOKA (7) were both slow to begin. Rounding the bend PUMA PANTS and JASPER HAKA (4) jostled for a distance when well back in the field.
Race 9	Glenbrye Tavern Distance Feature - C1d - 645	Shortly after the start CHILL OUT RALPH (4) and COURT THE BELLE (8) were tightened and lost ground. THRILLING SOUND (7) was inconvenienced as a result.
Race 10	Protexin Sprint Heat 7 - C1q - 295 Heat 7	MASSAGE ONLY (9) was slow to begin. Into the first turn GYPSY HUNTER (8) shifted inwards and tightened DUCO TO DUCO (7) which in turn checked EYES ON LULU (4) and RUNWAY QUEEN (3) both of which lost all chance.
Race 11	Shirley Vet Clinic Stakes - C1 - 520	AXEL GRINDER (8) was slow to begin. MISS SELFIES (5) was hampered between runners shortly after the start and got back. Shortly thereafter MISS SELFIES was further hampered when contacted from the inside by BLUSHING BELLE (3). Into the first turn SCOTSOME POWER (4) was unbalanced when contacted from behind by OPAWA MARGORIE (6) and then by KNOW JUDGE (1). Into the back straight AXEL GRINDER and OPAWA MAGORIE came together and jostled with AXEL GRINDER losing ground.
Race 12	Protexin Sprint Heat 8 - C1q - 295 Heat 8	AXEL FOLEY (1) was a late scratching at 1.29pm when found to be unwell at kenneling. Into the first bend KNOW SKILL (3) and GOLDSTAR DEEJAY (5) came together and jostled for a distance.
