Track: Dead After a fair amount of rain in the previous 36 hours the track was presented in a good racing condition All other equipment operated well through out.
Scales: Correct at all weights
Health and Safety comment: Nil

Judicial report: The inquiry adjourned on the 28-8-2014 in to race 12 regarding the performance of MARAMARUA JACK was reconvened.
MARAMARUA JACK ( S Clark ) was charged with a breach of Rule 80.1b- ( non pursuit ) 1st offence and stood down for 28 days and to the completion of a satisfactory trial/s.
SECRET STAR ( T Agent ) was scratched due to a reoccurrence of and old injury and has been retired from racing as from 30-8-2014 with the papers endorsed to that effect.

Race 1	Auckland Vending Stakes - C0 - 527	RUBY TWO BEE began awkwardly from box 3 for a stride or so. Racing in to the first bend ROCKY BOY raced to the front angling across the face of MISS VOTCHKA checking this runner going back on to RUBY TWO BEE who ran outwards to avoid heels. LITCHFEILD LADY ran on to the heels of RUBY TWO BEE with both runners running out wide as they raced in to the back straight. RUBY TWO BEE and LITCHFEILD LADY lost a fair amount of ground due to the earlier incident finishing well back at the line.
Race 2	All Sew Embroidery Sprint - C2 - 318	Racing in to the first turn HEZA CARLOS was tightened for room going back several lengths on the inner, soon after HEZA CARLOS ran in to the back of MISS JOLT and collided with EXCITING DREAM. HEZA CARLOS went sideways and almost fell at this point, he recovered to finish in 7th placing at the line. HEZA CARLOS was referred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found.
Race 3	Greyhound Function Centre Stakes - C0 - 527	PEETA MELLARK went up with the lids ,soon after she was hampered for several strides as POST COMMAND angled inwards with both runners bumping as they past the post on the first occasion, POST COMMAND lost ground soon after and was unable to improve thereafter finishing several lengths in the rear at the line and was referred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found.
Race 4	Lochinvar Marlow Stakes - C1 - 527	From the jump WHO YOU ran in sharply hampering THRILLING DUDE ( fav ) for a couple of strides ,racing in to the first bend OPAWA MARG raced across towards the leads forcing THRILLING TRICKS in on to WHO YOU and THRILLING DUDE went back on to ELEPHANT TRUNK who stumbled as IT'S THE DREAM came in on to him HONEY QUEEN on the inner was also checked at this point . ELEPHANT TRUCK went back to a clear last in the running and was unable to improve there after finishing well back at the line. ELEPHANT TRUNK was referred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found.
Race 5	Givealittle.co.nz Sprint - C3 - 318	From the boxes HASHTAG JOSH ran outwards bumping in to FORTIS FLYER. Racing in to the first turn BISCUIT BANT improving on the outer was bumped and fell as HASHTAG JOSH pushed between runners resulting in UNCLE ROMILLY coming out bumping BISCUIT BANT , HASHTAG JOSH, FANCY MY LUCK and UNCLE ROMILLY were all checked losing a fair amount of ground and were the last three runners to the line. BISCUIT BANT was referred to the vet for assessment.
Race 6	Carol's TABS Stakes - C2/3 - 527	Racing in to the first bend MOORE PARK MISS ( fav )was tightened between runners and turned sideways on bumping in to the shoulder of BOSS APPEAL ,MOORE PARK MISS lost momentum going back to the rear of the field and was unable to improve there after finishing in last placing at the line. MOORE PARK MISS was referred to the vet as a precaution where no abnormalities were found.
Race 7	$20,000 Pick6 Stakes - C1 - 527	THRILLING SHRIMP dwelt at the start further in SHERIFF ROSCOE and TEMPERATE KING came together bumping for a stride or so. Racing in to the first bend TEMPERATE KING angled inwards forcing SHERIFF ROSCOE inwards ,both runners tangled and jostled for some distance with SHERIFF ROSCOE running outwards severely hampering TEMPERATE KING who lost momentum. SHERIFF ROSCOE and TEMPERATE KING raced well back until nearing the home turn where TEMPERATE KING attempted to improve making good ground late in the run home to finish close up in 4th placing at the line. SHERIFF ROSCOE was unable to improve his position coming home in last placing at the line.
Race 8	Plasterboard Ltd Stakes - C4 - 527	HARAJUKU BABY began awkwardly from midfield stumbling for a stride in to the shoulder of AUNTY MERLE, racing in to the first bend there was tightening and jostling between HRAJUKU BABY, AUNTY MERLE and THRILLING CHARLY for a couple of strides, THRILLING CHARLY soon after became unbalanced racing towards the back straight THRILLING CHARLY was observed to be uncomfortable in his galloping action nearing the home turn where he dropped out to the rear finishing in last placing at the line and was referred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found.
Race 9	Sel's TAB Mangere Sprint - C5 - 318	T Agent reported to the Stewards that SECRET STAR has had a recurrence of an old injury and has been retired from racing with the papers being endorsed accordingly. Soon after the start UNO LACHLAN ran inwards hampering FANCY INVADER ,HARVEY NICHOLS angled inwards across the face of CALAMITY FREE who caught the back of HARVEY NICHOLS for a stride or so. Racing in to the first bend ROTOVEGAS JUNIOR came in on to the shoulder of BLUE COSMIC who went out and back on to ROTOVEGAS JUNIOR , COSMIC BLUE ran out stumbling for a stride or almost running to the outside fence, COSMIC BLUE recovered to get back on to the back of the field finishing towards the rear at the line and was referred to the vet for assessment . HARVEY NICHOLS was pushed over the rail at the end of the safety fence on pulling up to the lure and suffered a laceration was referred to the vet for assessment where a 10 day stand down was imposed.
Race 10	Destiny's Desire To Walk Stakes - C4/5 - 527	ZIPPING ORRICK began awkwardly for a stride he was then bumped as LOCHINVAR BRANDO ran inwards. Racing in to the first bend TAYLA ROSE and LOCHINVAR BRANDO came together ,LOCHINVAR BRANDO lost ground back to the rear, he made ground along the back straight checking GOOD RETURN as he went past, nearing the home turn FANCY AMIGO caught the heels of KISSEN RUN and ran inwards coming together with an improving LOCHINVAR BRANDO ,FANCY AMIGO lost a length or so with LOCHINVAR BRANDO finishing strongly in to 2nd placing at the line.
Race 11	Deli's Sports Bar Clendon Inn Sprint - C5 - 318	Racing to the first turn ROTOVEGAS BOSS angled inwards on to CARUBA QUEEN who was tightened and went back on to SECTIONED who lost ground ,soon after racing across the top bend SECTIONED caught the heels of JOSH HART when attempting to improve .
Race 12	Jack's Wholesale Meats Sprint - C4 - 318	Soon after the start CALL ME BLUE ran inwards tightening D'OR FILLE in on to JUST A BOY and PINK BOUQUET, D'OR FILLE was the worst affected in this incident , soon after racing in to the first turn CALL ME BLUE barged his way across to the rail severely checking D'OR FILLE, PINK BOUQUET and JUNIOR WHAT , these three runners lost a fair amount of ground and were unable to get back in to contention there after.
