Judicial report: The Goldsack / Denby Partnership were spoken to advisedly and warned after being late to kennel a Greyhound for race 7.

Race 1 Absolutely Electrical C2 - C2 - 305 OUR JACK ATTACK, HOMEBUSH TIARE and UNO GREEN bumped together for a short distance after the start and lost ground. GAY THORLEY checked over the heels of RIBA LORDA going into the bend and they both lost ground and finished well back.
Race 2 Harrison Hire Master C2 - C2 - 520 PADDY BAXTER and HEAR HARE HERE were tightened and checked back to the rear going into thefirst corner. CURIOUS LIFE and CONTEMPERANEOUS bumped together going into the first bend and CURIOUS LIFE was forced wide into the bend and lost three lengths. HERE HARE HERE was referred to the Vet for assessment at the Trainers request and found to have a stopper pad abrasion.
Race 3 J P Print ( Petone) C3 - C3 - 305 TONGARIRO was a little slow to begin. He then shifted out and GO FERN GO shifted in which resulted in jostling to SMART COOKIE, ANOTHER COLT and ATE PIZZA and they were unbalanced and lost ground and they stayed back to finish in the last three places.
Race 4 www.RacingTips.co.nz C2 Final - C2f - 305 ZAMADDIS LASS shifted in abruptly from the start and caused tightening and checks to MISS JOLT, BIGTIME CHIPS and TRENDY BOY which were inconvenienced for a short distance. LEGERDEMAIN shifted in when going to the lead on the first turn and checked ALLEGRO MASTER which went back onto TRENDY BOY and BIGTIME CHIP and they were hampered for a short distance. THRILLING MIGHT and MISS JOLT were checked on the bend and they went back to the rear and never recovered. The winner TRENDY BOY appeared to be suffering from some hind leg pain following the race and was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have a hind leg injury. TRENDY BOY was nominated for a post race swab but this was cancelled due to the injury.
Race 5 Palamoutains Scientific Nutrition C3 - C3 - 305 HANNIBAL LECTER shifted in from the start and caused jostling to FLYING BLAKE and SMIRNOFF for a short distance. HANNIBAL LECTER continued to shift in going to the first corner and crowded ANOTHER DRINK in onto GOGO RIOLI which was placed in restricted roon adjacent to the rail and was shuffled back to the rear and she never recovered.
Race 6 Christmas At The Races 5th-12th 19th December C3 - C3 - 520 DOLL PARTS shifted in from the start and checked CAWBOURNE TIP and MY LIL LUCIFER which both lost ground and settled back. ALLEGRO CLASS also shifted in from the start and caused checks to TEN POINT ONE, OPAWA TOKEN and BOTANY DAVE and they all lost ground.
Race 7 Liquorland Wanganui C4 - C4 - 305 All clear.
Race 8 Crombie Lockwood (NZ) Ltd C4 - C4 - 305 OPAWA WALLY began awkwardly losing three lengths and he stayed back throughout the race. CAWBOURNE PILFER shifted out over some distance going to the first corner and crowded BIT COIN which was eventually checked losing two lengths. JUMPIN SALLY was referred to the Vet at the Handlers request and found to have a webbing injury and a possible Dislocation / Fracture of a toe joint.
Race 9 Wanganui Security C4/5 - C4/5 - 305 CAWBOURNE TOMCAT was the slowest to begin and settled at the rear. He was then checked losing two lengths going into the bend when DEATHSTAR shifted in and he stayed back to finish at the rear. BELKARA and LEADFOOT LENNY bumped together when the start was made and they were briefly unbalanced.
Race 10 Happy 60th Ray Udy C4/5 - C4/5 - 520 WALLACE LAD was one of the slowest to begin and was then observed to check off the back of MAGIC ARROW going into the first bend and shifted out forcing ALWAYS WELCOME wide over extra ground on the bend.
Race 11 The Rock 95.2FM C4/5 - C4/5 - 305 YA LAUGHIN was the slowest to begin and settled back. NGAURUHOE was awkwardly placed in restricted room between runners going into the bend and was then checked from behind by YA LAUGHIN and they lost three lengths and never recovered.
Race 12 Book Your Function @ Hatrick C4/5 - C4/5 - 305 BLUE SENIOR and BOLT RAMA shifted in from the start and caused jostling to EVER SO HOPEFUL, RUAPEHU and COSMIC FURY and they were all unbalanced and lost ground. SUPER ROOSTER, WATERBUG and KASIM jostled together for some distance in the back straight and lost ground. BOLT RAMA shifted in going into the bend and checked BLUE SENIOR which went back to last and he finished in that position.
