Judicial report: N P Green was issued with a minor infringement and fined $100 for presenting COCKY APPEAL to race at 34.1kgs, down 2.2kgs his from previous start on 3 Aug 2014.

Race 1	Reel-fishin.com Stakes - C0 - 527	PEETA MELLARK (1), DARK GARNAH (3), LICHFEILD LADY (5) and BELLA FORZA (8) were all slow away. BIGTIME FLO (2) and WILD FALCON (4) came together entering the first bend and jostled for several strides. As a result WILD FALCON lost ground with PEETA MELLARK then getting on this runners heels becoming unbalanced and shifting out making contact with the hindquarters of LICHFIELD LADY then hampering BELLA FORZA resulting in these two runners becoming unbalanced losing considerable ground with PEETA MELLARK almost falling. Rounding the final bend BELLA FORZA came together with WILD FALCON. PEETA MELLARK was referred to the vet for assessment which revealed no abnormalities.
Race 2	Sel's TAB Mangere Sprint - C2 - 318	FLIRT ACADEMY (4) was slow away. DITCHED (5) and DIPSY LALA (7) were tightened and inconvenienced racing down the back straight between PURE THEATRE (3) who shifted out and ENGLISH HONEY (8) who shifted in. Racing into the first bend CHEVY IMPALA (6) was unbalanced after shifting in into the line of FLIRT ACADEMY (4) who got on this runners heels with both runners losing momentum and ground. Entering the first bend ENGLISH HONEY angled in making contact with DIPSY LALA who came together with DITCHED. Racing around the bend CHEVY IMPALA got on the heels of DITCHED for a stride both runners momentarily inconvenienced. PURE THEATRE raced wide throughout.
Race 3	MTA Gift Voucher Sprint - C1 - 318	JETSUN STORM (4) was very slow away settling several lengths from the body of the field. CALM NUSKA (7), RENROY (6), COOL TIME (5) and MARLENE'S TERRA (3) were all tightened and inconvenienced racing toward the first turn between FOXIARNA (1) who shifted out and MY BEAUTY (8) who shifted in with all runners becoming unbalanced for a distance. FOXIARNA then got on the hindquarters of WHAT'S UP WATTO who shifted in slightly with both runners becoming badly unbalanced and falling. Inconvenienced as a result of the fallen runners were COOL TIME, RENROY, CALM NUSKA and MY BEAUTY with all runners losing ground. FOXIARNA was referred to the vet for assessment with a 14 day stand down imposed. WHAT'S UP WATTO was referred to the vet for assessment with no abnormalities detected. MARLENE'S TERRA was referred to the vet after being knocked into by another runner at the lure and cleared of any injuries.
Race 4	Greyhound Function Centre Stakes - C2/3 - 527	YOU'RE LUCKY (3), BOSS APPEAL (4) and UNCLE ROMILY (7) were last to leave the boxes. Racing into the first bend BOSS APPEAL (4) made contact with the hindquarters of UNCLE ROMILY who was attempting to shift in both runner briefly inconvenienced. Entering the first bend CRAZY A GOGO (1) was tightened losing ground when racing in restricted room to the inside of FORTIS FLIER (2) then tightened again to the inside of YOU'RE LUCKY. Rounding the final bend CRAZY A GOGO had to steady when becoming awkwardly placed on the heels of BOSS APPEAL when racing at the rear of the field.
Race 5	McGhie Plumbing Sprint - C2/3 - 318	UTAH BOLT (2) was slow away. Racing down the back straight LAFAYETTE (5) shifted out across the heels of AQUA WOLF (6). Rounding the final bend when competing for the lead FANCY MY LUCK (3) and AQUA WOLF came together for several strides. RUN KAYLA RUN (8) raced wide throughout.
Race 6	Plaster Board Ltd Series Heat 1 - C4q - 318 Heat 1	THIS TIME PEDRO (4) and ROCKIN' ROD (7) were last to leave the boxes. CHARMING NEV (1) shifted out leaving the boxes inconveniencing TAYLA HART (2) who lost ground. CALL ME BLUE (5), THIS TIME PEDRO (4) and PINK BOUQUET (3) were all inconvenienced when CHARLIE'S FUNDS (6) shifted in soon after the start. Racing into the first bend CHARMING NEV shifted out abruptly into the line of PINK BOUQUET, CALL ME BLUE, THIS TIME PEDRO and ROCKIN' ROD who were all hampered losing ground as a result. CHARMING NEV then raced wide for the remainder of the race. TAYLA HART ran wide when making the final bend. TAYLA HART was assessed by the veterinarian following this event after showing signs of lameness with a 21 day stand down imposed.
Race 7	Plaster Board Ltd Series Heat 2 - C4q - 318 Heat 2	JUNIOR WHAT (4) and COCKY APPEAL (6) were slow away. Racing toward the first turn ETERNAL MAGIC (5) shifted in making contact with JELLY GEM (2) who was inconvenienced losing ground. Rounding the bend COCKY APPEAL had to check after becoming awkwardly placed on the heels of ERUZA (3) for several strides. COCKY APPEAL made contact with the hindquarters of ERUZA rounding the final bend becoming momentarily unbalanced and shifting out. As a result ERUZA was momentarily unbalanced shifting out making contact with JUNIOR WHAT (4).
Race 8	AGRC Reward Stakes - C1 - 527	DON DRAPER (4) began awkwardly losing ground. Racing toward the first turn SOUTH BAY DREAM (9) gave ground when placed in restricted room. Entering the first turn LET'S GO LETTIE was tightened between COSMIC WARRA (1) and TEMPERATE KING (6) before shifting out wide abruptly dictating TEMPERATE KING and CAWBOURNE ALPHA (7) wide rounding the first bend with all three runners losing ground as a result. SOUTH BAY DREAM gave ground racing into the final bend to the inside of LET'S GO LETTIE who angled in slightly.
Race 9	Greyhounds North Maiden Distance - C0d - 603	COLD TURKEY (1), BLOO BLOOMERS (2) and CARAT'S PRINCE (4) were slow away. THREAT (3), WHO DAT BOY (5), JETSUN QUAKER (6) and JETSUN BLAZE (7) were all tightened and inconvenienced racing into the first turn when JAY CEE HURT (8) angled in. As a result THREAT became unbalanced with BLOO BLOOMERS then getting on this runners heels and both runners becoming unbalanced with BLOO BLOOMERS then shifting out inconveniencing COLD TURKEY who was taken very wide losing ground. At the same time WHO DAT BOY shifted out hampering JETSUN QUAKER, who lost ground, and dictated JETSUN BLAZE wider. Also inconvenienced as a result was CARAT'S PRINCE who got on heels for a distance before shifting out. WHO DAT BOY and JETSUN BLAZE made brief contact entering the home straight on the first occasion. JETSUN BLAZE was inconvenienced entering the second bend.
Race 10	Greyhounds As Pets Sprint - C5 - 318	SECTIONED (7) was slow away. JOSH HART (4) and SECRET STAR (3) lost ground after coming together soon after leaving the boxes with SECRET STAR then making brief contact with the hindquarters of CARUBA QUEEN (2). SECRET STAR was inconvenienced losing ground when tightened rounding the final bend.
Race 11	Lochinvar Marlow Stakes - C4/5 - 527	At the request of the trainer RUSHIN DOLL was examined by the vet prior to this event and cleared fit to race. LADY SHAMBI (8) shifted in leaving the boxes inconveniencing TAYLA ROSE (7) then coming together with ZIPPING ORRICK (6) who made contact with FANCY AMIGO (5) who made contact with RUSHIN DOLL (3) who was hampered when making solid contact with GOOD RETURN (2) all runners inconvenienced as a result. These runners continued to make contact for a distance racing toward the first turn. GOOD RETURN, FANCY AMIGO and LADY SHAMBI all became unbalanced when jostling entering the first bend with KISSEN RUN, who was racing to the inside of these runners also becoming unbalanced losing ground and going back onto RUSHIN DOLL who was unbalanced making contact with ZIPPING ORRICK (6) these runners losing ground as a result. FANCY AMIGO had to steady off the heels of TAYLA ROSE leaving the back straight. Following this event RUSHIN DOLL referred to the vet for assessment with a 10 day stand down imposed.
Race 12	Trophies Plus Sprint - C1 - 318	VERSATILE RICHIE (3) and MEDICINAL (6) were slow away. Soon after leaving the boxes MARAMARUA JACK shifted in making contact with URBAN COMBAT (7). Rounding the bend MARAMARUA JACK (8) shifted in tightening COUGER ALERT (5) in onto HAT TRICK CHAOS (2) with COUGER ALERT and HAT TRICK CHAOS losing ground. Inconvenienced as a result was RUN MISCHIEF RUN (1). VERSATILE RICHIE and COUGER ALERT came together entering the final straight with COUGER ALERT briefly unbalanced. An investigation was opened and adjourned into the racing manners of MARAMARUA JACK rounding the final bend and over the concluding stages. A post race veterinary examination of MARAMARUA JACK revealed no abnormalities.
