Track: Good The track was well prepared and with all equipment operating well, the meeting proceeded smoothly.

Health and Safety comment: Nil

Judicial report: ISABELLE DOMAIN which was scratched from Race 11 on Friday 22nd August and stood down for 28 days when the Vet was unable to find an injury, was re presented to another Vet on 24.08.14. On that occasion, the Vet found a carpus and a toe injury and recommended a 7 day stand down. As a result, the original stand down was rescinded and replaced with a 7 day stand down and the original decision to proceed with a charge against Trainer J.McInerney will not be proceeded with and the matter is now concluded.
S.Gommans the Trainer of MY ENZO was fined $ 100-00 under the provisions of Rule 69 .11 when the dog was presented 2.1 kilograms underweight from its last start on 13.08.2014.

Race 1	ABSOLUTELY ELECTRICAL C0 - C0 - 305	MY ENZO was down in weight by 2.1 kilograms and this was an intentional decrease. HOMEBUSH MELVIN was slow to begin losing three lengths and he stayed back throughout the race.
Race 2	HARRISON HIRE MASTER C0 - C0 - 305	HOMEBUSH DOBBY and GUMMY GUMPSTA raced wide on the bend covering considerable extra ground and they finished in the rear group.
Race 3	www.RacingTips.co.nz C0 Final - C0f - 305	DENALI, MISS RAZZ and WORKING POPPY were slow to begin and settled back and they stayed there throughout the race. BOTANY BLAKE shifted in from the start and hampered ALL IN BERLIN and HOMEBUSH PIPPI for a short distance. DENALI shifted out abruptly entering the home straight and bumped MISS RAZ and they were both briefly unbalanced. BOTANY BLAKE shifted in in the final straight and checked HOMEBUSH PIPPI which lost two lengths.
Race 4	J P PRINT (PETONE) C0 - C0 - 520	HOMEBUSH STEW shifted in going to the first corner and crowded TRENDY LASS for some distance until TRENDY LASS was checked and shifted out to collide with DAISY and they both lost four lengths and stayed back to finish at the rear.
Race 5	LIQUORLAND WANGANUI C1 - C1 - 305	MACGYVER RAMA shifted in going into the bend and checked FLIRT WITH ME which lost three lengths but she recovered to make up ground and finished in 4th place.
Race 6	THE ROCK 95.2FM C1 - C1 - 305	YOUR ON FIRE shifted in from the start and crowded NOMINAL LILY and QUEEN COBRA for a short distance and they settled back. YOUR ON FIRE again shifted in going into the bend and NOMINAL LILY and QUEEN COBRA were placed in restricted room on the rail and checked losing two lengths and they never recovered. OPALESCENT began very well to lead from the start but she then shifted out to race wide on the bend and into the straight but kept up a strong run to finish in 2nd place.
Race 7	WANGANUI CHRONICLE C1 - C1 - 305	VISION AND POWER began very awkwardly losing several lengths but he made up a considerable amount of ground and finished in 6th place. WORKING PIZZAZ shifted out going into the bend and checked over the heels of FAMILY'S PRIDE losing four lengths and finished in last place.
Race 8	CROMBIE LOCKWOOD (NZ0 LTD C1 - C1 - 520	KISSING GWYNETH, WEEPU and MADAM ICE led into the first corner but collided and KISSING GWYNETH was the most affected and she went back through the field causing checks to COSMIC SCRAMBLE and COME ON MICKEY and all three lost several lengths. COME ON MICKEY recovered the best of the three and he finished in 3rd place.
Race 9	Wanganui Security C0/1 D - C1d - 755	OPAWA CHRIS drifted off the back of the field down the back straight and finished several lengths last and was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have a paw laceration.
Race 10	KEENAN CONCRETE C1 - C1 - 520	All clear.
Race 11	PALAMOUNTAINS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITION C1 - C1 - 305	APPLAUSE and BLACK MAGIC ROCK bumped when the start was made and settled back. JOHNNY ANGEL was handy in 2nd place on the bend but was checked losing three lengths. JOHNNY ANGEL then bumped with FORTIS LION and they went back to the rear and finished the race in the last two places.
Race 12	BOOK YOUR FUNCTION @ HATRICK C2 - C2 - 305	VINNIE BAXTER and GEM'S CONQUEST were slow to begin losing three lengths. AZURE DREAMS shifted in abruptly from the start and hampered TOXIC REVENGE and HOMEBUSH TIARE for a short distance.
Race 13	Non Tote - Tier 2 - 305	SHINZIGZAG and LEMON FISH were the slowest to begin and settled back. CHOCDEE KAREN shifted in going into the bend and crowded SHINZIGZAG and LEMON FISH and they eventually checked back to the rear with SHINZIGZAG the most affected and he lost four lengths.
Race 14	Non Tote - Tier 2 - 305	BELLE CADEAU began awkwardly losing two lengths.
Race 15	Non Tote - Tier 2 - 305	OLLIE BAXTER, THRILLING INDY and SARAH'S COOL bumped together going into the bend and ran wide over extra ground.
