Race 1	www.greyhoundsaspets.org.nz - C0 - 310	ANOTHER FORTUNE shifted out at the start crowding and checking SPIDER GIRL and NORMAN JEWEL. ANOTHER FORTUNE continued his outward movement simultaneous to CABARITA shifting inwards resulting in severe crowding to NORMAN JEWEL, ZAHARA MOON, HOMEBUSH BOUNCE and GLADYS EMMANUEL. Racing into the bend HOMEBUSH BOUNCE became badly unbalanced and lost considerable ground when making heavy contact with GLADYS EMMANUEL. NORMAN JEWEL was also hampered in this incident. Stewards ordered a post race veterinary examination of HOMEBUSH BOUNCE which revealed no abnormalities.
Race 2	Brian Bagley Driver Licensing Sprint - C1 - 310	ELWOOD SENSATION was squeezed at the start when dogs either side shifted ground. LEMAQUIS WILLOW shifted in at the start checking MATT HOOKY. MATT HOOKY then raced in restricted room in the run through the back straight. Racing into the bend BUSINESS BOSS checked off the heels of ADMIRAL ADAM and lost considerable momentum.
Race 3	Happy Birthday Glenda Stakes - C1 - 545	In the run to the first bend CALM SPIRIT shifted out taking HOMEBUSH GINGER and MOON AND SEA wider on the track. Off the back straight CHILL OUT RALPH shifted out and checked CALM SPIRIT.
Race 4	Green Island Barber Stakes - C2 - 545	OPAWA TANIA and JESSIE SURFS were both slow to begin. Racing towards the first bend FLYING AMELIA shifted out checking and unbalancing JESSIE SURFS with ROB'S MATE also being hampered. Further into the bend PUKEKO THUNDER shifted out and raced wide on the track until rounding the home bend.
Race 5	Roofing Solutions Stakes - C2/3 - 545	BRIGHTON BULLET and GOLSTAR ROSIE jostled over the early stages. In the run to the first turn WAIMAK DAVE shifted in checking HARPER ROSE, GOLDSTAR ROSIE and BRIGHTON BULLET. On the final bend HARPER ROSE made brief contact with the rail losing some momentum.
Race 6	Pryde Engineering Sprint - C2 - 310	Shortly after the start ANOTHER ANOTHER shifted in checking OPAWA TOM who lost ground. COWABUNGA and NO MORE BEERSIES jostled through the early stages with NO MORE BEERSIES eventually losing ground. As the field made the bend THRILLING JAMES shifted in checking ANOTHER ANOTHER and CHERRY CRUSHER with the trailing OPAWA TOM and NO MORE BEERSIES being hampered as well. Further into the bend STARBURST HANNAH shifted in checking COWABUNGA who lost ground.
Race 7	Speedprint Shop Sprint - C3 - 310	In the run down the back straight MCJOPSON shifted ground outwards taking JACK'S A JEWEL wider on the track. EVEN SEVEN shifted in on the turn and made firm contact with the rail and failed to complete the race. EVEN SEVEN was referred to the veterinarian for assessment.
Race 8	Brocklebanks Dry Cleaners Stakes - C4 - 545	OPAWA JED bounded at the start and was slow away. HIS LORDSHIP and AMBILIGHT made firm contact shortly after the start. Into the first bend OPAWA STELLA shifted ground outwards taking JINJA TURTLE and WHAT I LIKE wider on the track. AMBILIGHT and HIS LORDSHIP made firm contact on the turn for home.
Race 9	Green Island Super Liquor Stakes - C5 - 545	GRUNT RODGERS was slow to begin. Over the early stages JAWLAA shifted in and crowded CAWBOURNE PHILLIP who lost ground. Into the first bend CAWBOURNE PHILLIP shifted outwards taking GRUNT RODGERS and OPAWA CASPER wider on the track .CAWBOURNE AXE also raced wide rounding the first bend. JAWLAA who had lead for the majority of the race gave ground in the final straight and eventually finished last. A post race veterinary examination of JAWLAA revealed no abnormalities.
Race 10	Roofing Solutions Sprint - C4 - 310	Shortly after the start TWO WAYS stumbled and lost ground. Into the first bend CABOUL shifted out checking TWO WAYS who lost further ground. SHEZ KEEN raced off the rail throughout and in the run home shifted out wider on the track taking FLYING SWAN very wide.
Race 11	Bramwell Scaffolding Sprint - C5 - 310	STAR DREAMER raced wide into the bend forcing NOBLE FANTASY over extra ground.
Race 12	Racing Again Tuesday 9th September Dash - C5 - 310	OPAWA COLIN was slow to begin. GOLDSTAR CHUMLEE shifted in at the start and checked RUSTY KNIFE and STING ME. Into the bend MER DE NOMS has shifted outwards and taken MY MATE SPARROW, RUSTY KNIFE and OPAWA COLIN very wide on the track with all these runners losing ground. PLAGIARISM was also hampered in this incident and lost some ground.
Race 21	Non Tote - Tier 2 - 310	MITCHELL DEAN shifted in abruptly at the start checking HOMEBUSH SPIKE and CAWBOURNE KIWI. Racing into the bend HOMEBUSH SPIKE was tightened between runners and fell but recovered its feet to finish the race. WINNIE WILLOW was also checked in this incident. A subsequent veterinary examination of HOMEBUSH SPIKE revealed no injuries.
