| Race 1 | Palmerston North Greyhound Racing Club 2014 C0 - C0 - 457 | ALLEGRO CHASER shifted in abruptly from the start forcing CAWBOURNE STEVE onto BIG JOB JONESY and they were both checked back to the rear. BIG JOB JONESY then drifted off the back of the field and finished several lengths last and was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have pain in both pectoral muscles. |
| Race 2 | Manawatu Raceway C0 - C0 - 375 | ICAHN began awkwardly and settled back. He then shifted out going to the first corner and continued to race wide for the remainder of the race and finished well back. DOGGED DENIS was tightened between WHEELIE BINN and BUZZY AS when the start was made and he lost three lengths and stayed back throughout the race. |
| Race 3 | www.racingdogs.co.nz C1 - C1 - 375 | LITTLE ARTHUR began awkwardly losing four lengths and he stayed well back throughout. CAWBOURNE MALKY shifted in going to the first corner and crowded TIME FOR WHAT which lost two lengths but he recovered well to finish in 4th place. |
| Race 4 | Grant Irvine Pharmacy C1 - C1 - 457 | WHY OH WHY shifted in soon after the start and crowded GOLD STONE and WEEPU for a short distance and they were inconvenienced for a couple of strides. ON THE HOUSE checked over the heels of WEEPU on the bend and shifted out checking CAWBOURNE CRAZY which lost ground and stayed back to finish last. CAWBOURNE CRAZY was referred to the Vet for assessment at the Trainers request and found to be suffering from a webbing injury. |
| Race 5 | Interislander C2 - C2 - 375 | ALAMEIN KAT and TOXIC REVENGE bumped when the start was made and became slightly unbalanced for a short distance. VINNIE BAXTER, GIRL PRIDE and BIGTIME CHIP also bumped together at the start and they too were briefly unbalanced. GIRL PRIDE shifted in going into the bend and caused jostling to herself and also VINNIE BAXTER, TOXIC REVENGE and GAY THORLEY and this affected all four runners and they lost three lengths and finished at the rear. |
| Race 6 | Yella Mustard At Stud C2 - C2 - 457 | CONTEMPERANEOUS shifted out on the bend and checked TRENDY BOY and soon after, SUMMER TENSION also shifted out and checked TRENDY BOY. A short distance further on, KAY ROAD shifted out abruptly and checked SUMMER TENSION and TRENDY BOYand they lost two lengths and finished at the rear. |
| Race 7 | No Moore Hassell Petfoods, Levin C3 - C3 - 375 | BOSTON STRIKE began awkwardly losing two lengths. DOLLY PEG was checked from behing on the home turn and went back to last. UNO ORANGE was checked and fell after the finish line and was referred to the Vet for assessment as a precaution and found to have a pectoral muscle injury and a toe laceration. DOLLY PEG was also checked in the same incident. |
| Race 8 | Steve The Auctioneer Davis C2/3 - C2/3 - 457 | RADICAL RUFUS and ECKLES were slow to begin and settled back. They came together and bumped soon after and RADICAL RUFUS drifted to be racing four lengths behind the 2nd last runner but was observed to be making up ground well over the concluding stages. |
| Race 9 | Advanced Racing Series Heat 1 - NZRSq - 457 Heat 1 | KNOW AMBITION, SPEED LEGEND and THRILLING BRAVE were slow to begin and settled back. SPEED LEGEND and KNOW AMBITION bumped together on two occasions going to the first corner amd lost momentum. |
| Race 10 | Advanced Racing Series Heat 2 - NZRSq - 457 Heat 2 | The two best supported runners, CLONE YOUR OWN and KNOW DANGER were the slowest to begin but they made up ground well to finish in 2nd and 3rd places. RENE RANGER was checked from behind going into the bend when PIRATE LORE clipped his heels and he lost four lengths and all chance in the incident. |
| Race 11 | Thomas Russell Fundraiser Day Sunday 7th September C4 - C4 - 375 | THRILLING CHARLY was slow to begin losing two lengths. LOST IN LIGHT collided with TRIDENT going into the bend and she lost three lengths and stayed back to finish in 6th place. |
| Race 12 | Outback Trading Company Ltd. Jackpot Dog C5 Final - C5f - 375 | INDIVIDUAL LILY was slow to begin and he stayed back throughout the race and finished in last place. |
