Track: Good The track was well presented but after overnight rain, was softer than usual but was always a safe racing surface and the meeting proceeded without incident and concluded on time.

Judicial report: CAWBOURNE ARIES and BIG FAT GYPSY both completed satisfactory trials which were required under Rule 81.1.

Race 1	ABSOLUTELY ELECTRICAL CO Ht1 - C0q - 305 Heat 1	GOLFING BUDDY was suspected to have attempted to turn in the boxes but this could not be conclusively confirmed and so no further action was considered. GOLFING BUDDY was very slow to begin losing several lengths. HOMEBUSH TED shifted in going into the bend and checked DARL FAERYTALES which lost three lengths.
Race 2	J P PRINT PETONE C0 Ht2 - C0q - 305 Heat 2	HOMEBUSH FALINE began awkwardly losing three lengths. WINFIELD AUTUMN shifted in abruptly from the start and checked ELBRUS and HOMEBUSH BUCK and they lost three lengths.
Race 3	LIQUORLAND WANGANUI C0 Ht3 - C0q - 305 Heat 3	HOMEBUSH STEW and GOODTIME HELEN bumped soon after the start and they lost momentum and settled back. FAIR CONQUEST was handy going to the first corner but was then jostled on three occasions going into and on the bend and she dropped out and finished in last place.
Race 4	www.RacingTips.co.nz C0 - C0 - 520	THRILLING HUNT eased away from the heels of HOMEBUSH ROCKY going into the first corner and shifted out forcing NAVAJO BLUE very wide and he lost ground. THRILLING HUNT was checked and fell going into the back straight and HOMEBUSH ROCKY was also affected in the incident losing four lengths. THRILLING HUNT was referred to the Vet for assessment and
Race 5	HARRISON HIRE MASTER C1 - C1 - 305	OUR CROWN JEWEL began awkwardly losing ground and she stayed well back throughout and finished in 7th place.
Race 6	THE ROCK 95.2FM C1 - C1 - 305	All clear.
Race 7	WANGANUI CHRONICLE C1 - C1 - 305	SNOW DEMON shifted in abruptly from the start and checked HERMIONE BAXTER which lost ground and settled at the rear. KIRIBATI GIRL shifted out slightly going into the bend and HERMIONE BAXTER was again checked losing three lengths and she stayed back and finished in last place.
Race 8	CHRISTMAS @ THE RACES 5TH, 12TH 19TH DECEMBER C1 - C1 - 520	SUE SEWS SOCKS and ACAPELLA were slow to begin and settled back. WHY OH WHY and ACAPELLA bumped going into the first bend and ACAPELLA was unbalanced and lost three lengths.
Race 9	CROMBIE LOCKWOOD (NZ) LTD C0 D FEATURE - C0d - 645	The Kennel representative of the winner GRADUATION which had finished last in his previous two starts, over 755 metres on 08.08.14 and over 457 metres on 18.08.14, was questioned regarding the big improvement in performance in todays race. He stated that in his opinion there was a drop in the class of dog in todays field which would have been of assisstance and it was felt that GRADUATION did not have the clearest of runs on the 18.08.14.
Race 10	KEENAN CONCRETE C1 - C1 - 520	RICH LIST was observed to shake his head soon after the start and lost ground and while it could not be conclusively confirmed, it was assumed that the muzzle had shifted which had put the dog in some discomfort. RICH LIST was checked entering the back straight when THRILLING TRICKS shifted in and he lost three lengths. GO DOLPHIN POWER was also checked entering the back straight and she went back to the rear and never recovered.
Race 11	PALAMOUNTAINS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITION C1 - C1 - 305	FORTIS MEMORIES was awkwardly placed between runners going into the bend and lost two lengths. LITTLE ARTHUR checked off the back of HOMEBUSH BARABAS on the bend and lost two lengths.
Race 12	BOOK YOUR FUNCTION @ HATRICK C2 - C2 - 305	MISS SARA was awkwardly placed between runners soon afterv the start and was shuffled back to the rear. THRILLING MIGHT shifted out going into the bend making firm contact with CARLY RAE RAMA which was pushed wide and severely checked losing several lengths.
Race 13	Non Tote - Tier 2 - 305	BELLE CADEAU, OLLIE BAXTER and LEMON FISH were slow to begin and settled back. EXCESSIVE SPEED shifted in going into the bend and checked KING'S SELECTION which lost three lengths.
Race 14	Non Tote - Tier 2 - 305	SUNDAY DRIVER and UNO CHARM were awkwardly placed in restricted room inside ANOTHER HUNTER going to the first corner and they were checked back to the rear. ANOTHER HUNTER checked over the heels of ALL THE COCO entering the home straight and shifted out abruptly. ALL THE COCO lost ground in the incident and finished near the rear.
