Judicial report: Trainers J Lane and R Wales were fined $100.00 as per the Minor Infringements Table after admitting a breach of Rule 69.11 when OPAWA WEBBY was presented 1.6 kgs above his last race weight on 7 August 2014. SAN SEBASTIAN (J Allen) was stood down for 28 days and must complete a satisfactory trial after breaching Rule 80.1.a. during the running of Race 11.

Race 1	www.greyhoundsaspets.org.nz - C0 - 310	PEE CEE PLOD (3) was a clear last at the jump. CABARITA (2) ran inwards on dispatch badly checking kennelmate SMASH WHO (1). PEE CEE PLOD ran inwards into the bend checking SMASH WHO. GLADYS EMMANUEL (9) checked outwards into the bend pushing MASTER AT ARMS (7) wider on the track.
Race 2	Maiden Bitches Feature - C0 - 310	ZAHRA MOON (2) was very slow to jump with BAZINGA KIMBA (3) and SPIDER GIRL (4) also settling well back. DA LAST CHOOK (7) was badly tightened in the early stages. Into the bend OZARKS DAUGHTER (6) angled inwards causing SPIDER GIRL to clip the hindquarters of MISTY AS with this pair falling. OZARKS DAUGHTER then fell when attempting to avoid this pair. BLAZING KIMBA was checked and DA LAST CHOOK ran to the outside fence and lost her chance as a result of this incident. All dogs affected in this incident were referred to the vet for assessment and cleared of injury.
Race 3	Happy Big Birthday Ray Adcock - C0 - 545	SACAJAWEA (3) and BOTANY CHRIS (4) were the last pair on jumping after colliding for a stride. OPAWA UNO (2) shifted outwards in the early stages briefly checking OPAWA LOI (5). Into the first bend OPAWA UNO got on the back of MALCY (7) with this pair both losing ground and their chances with SACAJAWEA receiving a check as a result. OPAWA LOI and OPAWA LACHLAN (1) were also both badly inconvenienced at this stage. OPAWA LOI then ran inwards with MALCY again receiving a check. Following this event MALCY and OPAWA UNO were both referred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were detected.
Race 4	Brian Bagley Driver Licensing Stakes - C1 - 545	TODDY'S A FLYER (8) was last on jumping. HOMEBUSH GINGER (6) was tightened in the run to the first bend and lost ground. WINNE WILLOW (2) angled outwards into the first bend pushing BOTANY LIZ (4) outwards on to SAILORS COLLAR (9) who was forced to cover extra ground. BOTANY LIZ was held up for clear room when attempting to improve in the middle stages of the race. HOMEBUSH GINGER and SAILORS COLLAR both ran wide in the home straight.
Race 5	Green Island Barber Stakes - C2 - 545	SPEEDY SWEDE (1) and WAGON WHEEL (3) were the last pair on settling. STICH UP (2) was tightened into the first bend and lost ground with the trailing OPAWA AMY (4) receiving a check and losing a length. GOLDSTAR ROSIE (5) raced wide at this point. OPAWA AMY then checked outwards off STICH UP and raced wide into the back straight.
Race 6	Roofing Solutions Sprint - C1 - 310	YALDHURST EDWARD (1) was the slowest from the traps. CHARLES FREDRICK (5) angled inwards tightening GOLDSTAR FRANKIE (4) in the back straight with GOLDSTAR FRANKIE losing ground. YALDHURST EDWARD, SAM'S FLYIN NORM (2) and GIGANAIRE (9) were all hampered to some degree at this stage. SAM'S FLYIN NORM and GOLDSTAR FRANKIE jostled on the home turn when racing in the rear group.
Race 7	Bramwell Scaffolding Stakes - C5 - 545	CAWBOURNE PHILIP (3) shifted inwards tightening STOLEN MONEY (2) into the first bend. STOLEN MONEY then ran wide around that bend.
Race 8	Roofing Solutions Stakes - C3 - 545	DOLEUZE (3) was tightened in the run to the first bend and dropped to the rear. On the bend BANBIT (5) was checked and ran outwards pushing HOMEBUSH VIOLET (8) very wide.
Race 9	Brocklebanks Dry Cleaners Stakes - C4 - 545	OPAWA JED (3) and OPAWA WEBBY (4) were the last pair on settling. OPAWA JED received a slight check into the first bend and lost a length.
Race 10	Speedprint Shop Sprint - C3 - 310	HANNA THE SPANNA (5) was tightened soon after dispatch. TRUMPED UP (7) ran inwards in the back straight as WHITEY'S GONE (1) and BIGTIME TIP (2) ran outwards causing BO'S BUSINESS (4) to run out of room and fall. Soon after GENIA HAKA (3) ran inwards pushing HANNA THE SPANNA on to the rail and lose ground. JACK'S A JEWEL (9) ran a touch wide around the home turn. BO'S BUSINESS was referred to the vet for assessment.
Race 11	Pryde Engineering Sprint - C2 - 310	GOLDSTAR CHYNA (3) and CAR BOOTLE (4) were the last pair on settling. In the back straight SAN SEBASTIAN (9) ran outwards checking TAI BAXTER (5) and HOMEBUSH TIARE (6) and marring the running of GO TOMMO (7). Into the bend SAN SEBASTIAN again ran outwards and marred KNOW MAGIC (8). SAN SEBASTIAN was stood down for 28 days for a breach of Rule 80.1.a. and must complete a satisfactory trial. SMASH EASY (1) ran outwards into the bend as SAN SEBASTIAN ran inwards with SMASH EASY losing ground. KNOW MAGIC ran outwards on the home turn pushing GOLDSTAR CHYNA wider.
Race 12	Racing Again Tuesday 26th August - C4 - 310	RED HOT FURY (3) was last to jump with DILLMANSTOWN (1) and SPRINKLES (2) also settling well back. GOLDSTAR CHUMLEE (6) angled inwards in the back straight dictating the line of TEAM DREAM (5) and HOMEBUSH CHURRO (4) down the track. Into the bend BOTANY PRANCER (7) ran inwards severely tightening TEAM DREAM and HOMEBUSH CHURRO with this pair losing ground and BOTANY PRANCER falling. DILLMANSTOWN and SPRINKLES were both hampered in this incident. BOTANY PRANCER was referred to the vet for assessment.
Race 21	Non Tote - Tier 2 - 310	ADMIRAL ADAM (5) was badly checked into the bend and dropped to the rear.
