BOLT ALLEGRO was checked going to the first corner and lost momentum and he was checked from behind by BIGTIME KAZ on the bend and he never recovered and finished in last place. |
| Race 2 | Greyhounds As Pets C0 - C0 - 375 | ALAMEIN BLONDE and CAWBOURNE BUTTSY collided when the start was made and ALAMEIN BLONDE settled at the rear. VENGA GUAPA attempted to shift out for some distance on the bend and jostled with ALAMEIN BLONDE. VENGA GUAPA then checked over the heels of CLASSY ZARA entering the home straight and shifted out abruptly losing ground but recovered quickly to finish in 2nd place. |
| Race 3 | Grant Irvine Pharmacy C1 - C1 - 375 | ALLEGRO MASTER shifted out and DOGGED DAN shifted iin from the start and this resulted in GROOVY LEO and MEMBERS ONLY being hampered. HOMEBUSH SARAH began awkwardly losing two lengths and she was then checked going into the bend when MEMBERS ONLY shifted out into her running line and she stayed back to finish last. |
| Race 4 | Interislander C1 - C1 - 457 | WEEPU checked off the heels of CAWBOURNE CRAZY going into the bend and shifted out forcing LEGAL AID to race wide over extra ground and he finished well back. |
| Race 5 | Affordable Pet Accessories C2 - C2 - 375 | JOEY'S SECRET, GAY THORLEY and DAISY'S BOI were slow to begin losing two lengths. FIRE BOY BAXTER shifted out going to the first corner and caused jostling to JOEY'S SECRET and DAISY'S BOI and they lost ground. ANOTHER PIZZA began well and led into the bend but then drifted and eventually finished several lengths last and was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have a recurrant gracilus muscle injury. |

| Race 7 | Manawatu Raceway C3 heat 2 - C3q - 375 Heat 2 | IT'S A DOLL shifted in going into the bend and caused checks to SMIRNOFF and REGINA HAKA which lost ground with REGINA HAKA the most affected and she lost several lengths, went back to last and finished in that position. |
| Race 8 | Yella Mustard At Stud C3 heat 3 - C3q - 375 Heat 3 | KINETIC RIO and UNO GREEN jostled together when handy to the lead going into the bend and they checked and went back through the field causing checks to I'M A CATCH and ATE PIZZA. COOL HEIR was also slightly affected in the incident and was referred to the Vet for assessment at the Trainers request and found to have paw abrasions. |
| Race 9 | Outback Trading Company Ltd Jackpot Dog C2 - C2 - 457 | PADDY BAXTER and JESSIE SURFS bumped together when the start was made after JESSIE SURFS shifted in abruptly and they lost three lengths. CURIOUS LIFE was bumped by TRENDY BOY and ADDA BOY ZEKE and was inconvenienced soon after the start. NOT BAD was checked soon after the start and was again checked going into the bend losing several lengths and never recovered. |
| Race 10 | Thomas Russell Fundraiser Day Sunday 7th September C4 - C4 - 375 | DOLLY PEG shifted in going into the bend and checked ROCK ON SPRITE which fell but was quickly back on his feet and finished onto the lure. ROCK ON SPRITE was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have pectoral muscle pain. |
| Race 11 | No More Hassell Petfoods, Levin C5 - C5 - 375 | ENHANCER was slow to begin and he tailed the field throuout the race. CAWBOURNE QUEEN, BEE RABBIT and MAGIC BOLT jostled together going to the first corner and they lost ground and stayed back to the finish. |

BIGTIME JET was tightened soon after the start and was checked and fell but regained his feet and finished onto the lure. He was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have pectoral muscle pain. |
