Race 1	Super Pets Stakes - C2 - 520	FLIP FLIPPA (8) proved difficult to box.MR BARRY(1), OPAWA KENDAL (4) ,FLIP FLIPPA and AXEL GRINDER(9) were all slow to begin . Into the first turn MR BARRY and OPAWA KENDAL made firm contact and became unbalanced when jostling . AXEL GRINDER was also hampered in this incident . FLIP FLIPPA ran very wide in the back straight.
Race 2	Grand National This Saturday @ Riccarton Park Sprint - C2 - 295	MOMMA RAE (7) was slow to begin and was further hampered when on heels shortly after the start. MUMS PRODIGY (3) was tightened between runners into the first turn and lost ground coming back into the running of MOMMA RAE which was momentarily hampered .Rounding the bend OPAWA RUFUS(2) gave ground finishing in last position .OPAWA RUFUS was referred to veterinarian for inspection.
Race 3	Garrard's Horse & Hound Canterbury GOTB Maiden Heat 1 - C0q - 520 Heat 1	ZAHRA MOON (8) was very slow to begin . Into the first turn BOTANY BLAKE (3) was bumped from the inside, becoming awkward on the heels of MEGA SURGE and fell, as a result EFFIE AWARDS (9) was hampered and forced over extra ground.MEGA SURGE lost momentum in this incident.
Race 4	Garrard's Horse & Hound Canterbury GOTB Maiden Heat 2 - C0q - 520 Heat 2	HOMEBUSH BUCK (8) was slow to begin.Into the first turn YOU'RE SO FREE (1) was tightened and shifted across the heels of TEEMIRO(4) forcing HOMEBUSH SPOOK over extra ground.YOU'RE SO FREE lost ground and momentum in this incident. HOMEBUSH BUCK ran wide rounding the first turn when well back .TEEMIRO shifted away from the running line down the back straight forcing DARCY BRASCO (2) over extra ground. DARCY BRASCO and TEEMIRO jostled rounding the final turn .
Race 5	Happy Birthday Gary McEntee Dash - C0 - 295	CABARITA (6) shifted in on jumping making firm contact with ALL ABOUT JAZZ (5) and HOMEBUSH TED (4) .Into the first bend SALLY WEST (3) was tightened between runners and then was galloped on from behind by CABARITA .Both SALLY WEST and CABARITA lost ground and all chance as a result .
Race 6	Shirley Vet Clinic Sprint - C0 - 295	HOMEBUSH EXPRESS (4) was slow to begin . Into the first bend OPAWA DES (3) was checked when tight between runners. OUR BLONDIE (2) which was trailing OPAWA DES was checked and fell as a result.ENFORCED KIWI (1) , HOMEBUSH EXPRESS and OHOKA NATASHA (5) were all hampered in this incident. OUR BLONDIE was referred to the veterinarian for assessment.
Race 7	Garrard's Horse & Hound Canterbury GOTB Maiden Heat 3 - C0q - 520 Heat 3	HOMEBUSH ROCKY (5) and MOBILIZE (6) were slow to begin . Shortly after the start KNOW CLOWN (4) was checked when contacted by BOTANY JOHN (7) which shifted inwards. Rounding the first turn MOBILIZE ran very wide when shifting off the heels of BOTANY JOHN . KNOW CLOWN ran wide down the back straight .
Race 8	Opawa Bowl & Jack Tavern Sprint - C2 - 295	Rounding the first bend MR KEGAN (5) was checked when awkwardly placed on the heels of GOLDSTAR MARIO (7) which was shifting inwards towards the running line . MR KEGAN came back into the running of ABOGADO (6) which was severely hampered losing all chance.
Race 9	Garrard's Horse & Hound Canterbury GOTB Maiden Heat 4 - C0q - 520 Heat 4	SACAJAWEA (4) was slow to begin . HOMEBUSH PAIGE (7) ran wide rounding the first bend . HOMEBUSH BOUNCE (5) and OPAWA BORN (6) jostled for a distance rounding the first turn . WEARS THE GOLD (8) ran wide down the back straight. Following this event WEARS THE GOLD was found to be in season and stood down for 28 days.
Race 10	Mamaja At Stud Dash - C0 - 295	Kennel representatives informed Stewards that the increase in weight was planned for HOMEBUSH FALINE. As this runner had not started since March Stewards permitted the greyhound to start. LAST EXPLORER (2) was slow to begin. ANGEL D'OR (3) was unbalanced early when contacted by LOOK LEFT (5) . HOMEBUSH DOBBY (1) and VERBATIM (8) made firm contact when racing into the first turn . Rounding the turn HOMEBUSH DOBBY was severely unbalanced when forced across the heels of VERBATIM by LAST EXPLORER which was improving to the inside . SMASH WHO (4) and LOOK LEFT were also hampered in this incident being forced wider on the track . VERBATIM and LAST EXPLORER made firm contact shortly after . Into the straight HOMEBUSH FALINE checked off the heels of LAST EXPLORER when in tight racing quarters.
Race 11	Christchurch Casino Stakes - C2 - 520	OPAWA PEARL (2) was slow to begin . OPAWA TANIA (7) was awkwardly placed between KNOW SECURITY (6) and WAGON WHEEL (8) racing into the first turn .OPAWA TANIA made contact with KNOW SECURITY and shifted wider rounding the bend. Into the back straight CAWBOURNE POLLY (4) faltered free of interference and gave ground . CAWBOURNE POLLY was referred to the veterinarian for inspection.
Race 12	International Animal Health Products Dash - C2 - 295	In the run to the first bend GOLDSTAR BOMBER (4) shifted inwards and made contact with JOHN DORY (1) resulting in both runners losing momentum and position.
