Judicial report: HOMEBUSH GINGER (J McInerney) completed a box trial as required by Rule 72.13 on 4 August 2014 thus making her dog eligible to start at today's meeting. Trainer B Freeman was fined $50.00 as per the Minor Infringements Table after admitting a breach of Rule 88.1.y. in that he breached the GRNZ Dress Code.

Race 1	Super Pets Dash - C1 - 295	MASSAGE ONLY (9) was last to jump with GLENN IS GOODSEY (3) dropping to the rear in the early stages. HOME TRUTH (1) angled outwards into the bend pushing CAWBOURNE CLOCK (7) wider on the track. In the home straight GLENN IS GOODSEY ran outwards in the home straight causing more inconvenience to CAWBOURNE CLOCK.
Race 2	Grand National Racing @ Riccarton in August Stakes - C1 - 520	BLUSHING BELLE (4) was inclined to race wide around the bends.
Race 3	Vital Petfood Sprint Heat 1 - C1q - 295 Heat 1	HOMEBUSH SPIKE (6) and BOTANY ZENVO (8) dropped to the rear in the early stages. CAWBOURNE KIWI (4) ran wide on the home turn. BLAZING HOT (1) angled outwards on the home turn pushing SEA SPRAY BORIS (7) over extra ground. HOMEBUSH SPIKE ran outwards in the home straight when well back.
Race 4	Vital Petfood Sprint Heat 2 - C1q - 295 Heat 2	HOMEBUSH ARIEL (1), KNOW LAUGHING (2) and BOWMAN (6) were the last trio on settling. ZULU DEB (5), MOP HEAD (4) and OHOKA HART (3) were all tightened in the run to the first turn. HOMEBUSH ARIEL and KNOW LAUGHING jostled on the home turn when well back. BOWMAN ran wide when improving on the home turn.
Race 5	Vital Petfood Sprint Heat 3 - C1q - 295 Heat 3	CHARLES FREDRICK (4) was last to jump. CRONK WENT PLONK (7) ran sharply inwards on dispatch pushing GO TOMMO (6) down the track on to CHARLES FREDRICK. KENNY'S COMET (3) ran outwards soon after pushing SLEEPER AGENT (5) outwards with this bitch contacting CRONK WENT PLONK. VALLDEMOSSA (1) was badly tightened into the bend dropping back through the field.
Race 6	Vital Petfood Sprint Heat 4 - C1q - 295 Heat 4	PUMA PANTS (8) was last to leave the traps. SMASH EASY (3) ran outwards in the early stages. BLICKLING BRIDGE (7) ran inwards in the back straight tightening OHOKA STRIKA (6) and UNRELIABLE ANDY (5). GOLDSTAR BRIDIE (1) angled off the fence into the bend with PUMA PANTS clipping her heels and blundering. PUMA PANTS dropped to a clear last and was referred to the vet for assessment.
Race 7	Happy Birthday Jean Fahey Stakes - C1 - 520	JINJA COOKIE (7) and BOOSTIN' (8) were the last pair on jumping. TRUE BLUE STYLE (3) and KNOW JUDGE (2) came together in the run to the first bend. CAWBOURNE MUSCLE (6) was badly tightened into the first bend as JINJA COOKIE improved to his inside and pushed him outwards contacting the hindquarters of BOOSTIN'. TRUE BLUE STYLE was also badly inconvenienced in this incident and settled at the rear together with CAWBOURNE MUSCLE.
Race 8	Vital Petfood Sprint Heat 5 - C1q - 295 Heat 5	WAXEYE'S BIG KID (8) was very slow to jump with AXEL FOLEY (4) also settling well back. OUR CHARLOTTE (5) was tightened into the bend and lost ground. BLUEY RUFFERO (7) angled inwards on the home turn checking BOTANY RICHIE (3) who lost ground. WAXEYE'S BIG KID was forced wide on the home turn when improving.
Race 9	Bill's Bar & Bistro Stakes - C1 - 520	KNOW SOLUTION (7) dropped to the rear in the early stages. OPAWA GOODIE (6) ran wide losing ground on the first bend.
Race 10	Vital Petfood Sprint Heat 6 - C1q - 295 Heat 6	MR. NOVEMBER (4) and ZORBA THE GREEK (6) were the last pair on settling. HARPER'S BIZARRE (5) received a slight check as MR. NOVEMBER contacted her in the early stages. LOLA BAXTER (1) was tightened and then dragged down into the bend dropping to the rear. This bitch was referred to the vet for assessment. MR. NOVEMBER was inconvenienced in this incident with HARPER'S BIZARRE being forced wide. RANGITATA RAIDER (8) and ZORBA THE GREEK were inclined to race wide on the home turn.
Race 11	The Turf Bar Stakes - C1 - 520	KNOW SMIGGLE (8) was a clear last at the jump. OPAWA LAUREN (3) was tightened into the run to the first bend and dropped to the rear. THRILLING SOUND (7) was badly checked into the first bend when striking the rear of KNOW SMIGGLE with THRILLING SOUND running outwards and pushing OPAWA LAUREN very wide.
Race 12	International Animal Health Products Sprint - C1 - 295	KERAMUS GIRL (8) was very slow to jump. RUNWAY QUEEN (5) was tightened and ran outwards into the bend pushing KERAMUS GIRL very wide with this pair losing their chances. SOME GENES (4) and TAI BAXTER (2) came together on the home turn when racing in midfield.
