| Race 1 | Grant Irvine Pharmacy C0 Final - C0f - 457 | BIG JOB JONESY and JUST LIKE MOON shifted ground from the start and TE MAARI STYLE which had drawn in between was checked and settled back but he made up ground well for 2nd placing. Soon after the start, BOLT ALLEGRO, BIG JOB JONESY and JUST LIKE MOON came together and jostled for a short distance and lost momentum. |
| Race 2 | Outback Trading Jackpot Dog C0 Final - C0f - 375 | The payment of dividends was withheld for a short time due to the Stewards concern that the box lids may have been fractionally slow to open. However, after viewing films, they were satisfied that the start was normal and that no runners were affected. GUMMY GUMPSTA and COOL GYPSY jostled together for some distance going to the first corner and they lost ground. GUMMY GUMPSTA recovered well to finish in 3rd place. MEMBERS ONLY shifted out slightly going into the bend and hampered HERE WITHOUT YOU for a short distance. HOMEBUSH PIPPI shifted out on the bend and checked HERE WITHOUT YOU which almost fell and lost several lengths. BUZZY AS and WAIRERE MIKE were also checked and lost ground as HERE WITHOUT YOU went back through the field. HERE WITHOUT YOU was referred to the Vet for assessmment as a precautiion and cleared of injury. |
| Race 3 | J P Print Petone C1 - C1 - 375 | WAR ON TERROR was the slowest to begin and he was then hampered and lost ground when RIJEKA shifted out into his running line going into the bend. WAR ON TERROR and WHEELIE RASCAL then bumped together going into the bend and lost momentum and WHEELIE RASCAL raced very wide into the straight and finished last. |
| Race 4 | Peter Sinclair Photo Finish C1 - C1 - 375 | ANOTHER RULE and KOTUMBA jostled together for some distance after the start and they lost ground and settled at the rear. |
| Race 5 | Manawatu Raceway C 1 - C1 - 457 | THAT'S KING shifted in going to the first corner and crowded LEGAL AID in onto the line of UNO CHARM and they eventually had to check losing four lengths. LEGAL AID recovered well from there to made up ground for 4th placing but UNO CHARM stayed back to finsh last. |
| Race 6 | Palmerston North Greyhound Racing Club C2 - C2 - 457 | KAY ROAD, ROCKY ROAD and NOT BAD bumped together when the start was made and they settled at the rear. ALL ABOUT AMY shifted in and hampered AMY WINEGLASS which shifted out and bumped with KAY ROAD and they both lost momentum. |
| Race 7 | Palamountains C3 - C3 - 375 | FREEDOM FLYER shifted in abruptly from box 8 at the start and hampered several runners with LEGEND BEE and COSMIC CHOICE the most affected and they settled at the rear. COSMIC CHOICE recovered and made up ground to finish in 4th place but LEGEND BEE stayed back to finish in last place. |
| Race 8 | Interislander C2 - C2 - 375 | UNO FLASH began awkwardly losing two lengths. GAY THORLEY became awkwardly positioned in restricted room going into the bend and was eventually severely checked losing several lengths and stayed back to finish in last place. HOMEBUSH HAYLEY which finished in 7th place was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have a webbing injury. |
| Race 9 | Adopt A Greyhound C4 - C4 - 375 | CAESAR QUEEN began very awkwardly and settled back. She then jostled with FLYING TRANCE for some distance going into the bend and stayed back to finish at the rear. L.Bell the Trainer of the winner TALK IT OVER was questioned in relation to the improvement in form of the dog and in her opinion, TALK IT OVER had benefited from the fact that he had drawn box 1, had begun well and had a clear run throughout the race. This was in contrast to the two most recent starts from inside draws where he had been slow to begin and recieved interrupted runs. |
| Race 10 | Greyhounds As Pets C5 - C5 - 375 | LOST IN LIGHT was held up behind EMBEE DEE for some distance on the bend and this probably affected her chance of a closer placing then 4th. |

| Race 12 | Steve The Auctioneer Davis C4 - C4 - 457 | CIDER DRINKA shifted out in the race to the first corner and bumped ALAMEIN JAH onto BIGTIME JET and they both lost ground and stayed back to finish in the rear group. LOCHINVAR MAUI lay in on the bend and hampered MAMMY BROWN for a short distance and she lost ground. |
