Judicial report: Trainer R Cockburn was fined $100.00 as per the Minor Infringements Table after admitting a breach of Rule 69.11 when presenting JUDITH MARY 2.0 kgs under her last race weight on 8 July 2014.

Race 1	Super Pets Dash - C0 - 295	SMASH WHO (3) was slow in the initial stages. HOMEBUSH ZANE (4) blundered and lost its footing shortly after the start. SWEET MARYLOU (2) was crowded for racing room entering the bend between HOMEBOUSH BOUNCE (6) and DARCY BRASCO (1). SWEET MARYLOU then became badly positioned behind HOMEBUSH BOUNCE and contacted this dogs hind quarters costing both runners momentum. The trailing SMASH WHO and HOMEBUSH ZANE were both taken outwards in consequence. When questioned with regards to the seemingly improved performance of GOOLDSTAR BEEJAY co-trainer S Evans explained the dog had derived benefit from a brief freshen up and made a faster beginning than it had been doing in the past ensuring the dog gained a beneficial run.
Race 2	Clarkson Sign Studio Stakes - C0 - 520	BOTANY CHRIS (6) was squeezed between TEEMIRO (5) and HOMEBUSH RAMONA (7) in the early stages and lost ground. Racing towards the first bend HOMEBUSH RAMONA was checked heavily when positioned between UNRELIABLE ANDY (8) and HOMEBUSH MISHA (3) resulting in HOMEBUSH RAMONA falling to the track. Both UNRELIABLE ANDY and HOMEBUSH MISHA were significantly inconvenienced as a result. SACAJAWEA (4) which was trailing these dogs at the time was forced outwards which also took TEEMIRO over extra ground. TEEMIRO was held up on the final bend for clear running and in the early stages of the run home. HOMEBUSH RAMONA and UNRELIABLE ANDY were sent to be examined by the Vet who cleared them of any injury.
Race 3	Hampden Tavern Sprint - C0 - 295	Approaching the bend HOMEBUSH BUCK (1) shifted outwards and made contact with MARTY MCMOTH (3) which was taken outwards onto PASS WITH CARE (4) who was turned outwards costing this dog some ground. MAUDIE'S TERRA (7) shifted ground inwards entering the bend and in doing shortened the stride of BOTANY WIN (6) with this dog dragging MAUDIE'S TERRA down from behind. INCREASING (5), GANACHE (8) and HOMEBUSH BUCK all had their running hampered as a consequence to this incident. PASS WITH CARE was held up on the final bend behind the tiring MAUDIE'S TERRA and to avoid this dog shifted outwards abruptly checking both MARTY MCMOTH and GANACHE. MAUDIE'S TERRA which weakened out over the final stages was referred to the Vet. HOMEBUSH BUCK was also referred to the Vet for an examination. When questioned with regards to the improved showing of WIGMORE trainer D Barnes explained the dog had derived gradual benefit from each of its previous two runs this campaign after returning from a three month break due to seasonal issues.
Race 4	Chris & Lisa Earl Distance - C0d - 645	HOMEBUSH GINGER (4) turned in the boxes and lost it's chance as the start was made. The connections of this dog were advised that it must box trial to the satisfaction of Stewards before becoming eligible to return to the races. This dog will also be boxed first in its immediate starts. On the first bend PUNCH ON JAIME (7) shifted inwards and dictated OPAWA LAUREN (9) down the track onto MAGIC EMILY (5) which was already racing in restricted room to the outside of SHEEZA FLOWER (1). Due to this movement from outside dogs MAGIC EMILY and SHEEZA FLOWER received significant pressure resulting in MAGIC EMILY falling to the track and SHEEZA FLOWER losing significant ground. GOLDSTAR JUNIOR also received some interference and had to shift ground to improve. HOMEBUSH GINGER was examined by the Vet which revealed no injury. MAGIC EMILY was referred to the Vet following this race.
Race 5	Amber Cleaning Services Dash - C0 - 295	No racing incidents.
Race 6	Glenbyre Tavern Sprint - C0 - 295	ZAHRA MOON (1) was slow in the early stages. LA VENTANA (7) shifted outwards leaving the final bend causing a slight inconvenience to HURRICANE SANDY (6).
Race 7	racingdogs.co.nz Dash - C0 - 295	OHOKA JOKA (4) shifted outwards in the early stages and bumped with HOMEBUSH SPOOK (7). CARBARITA (6) shifted inwards approaching the first bend and applied continual pressure to HOMEBUSH DAWN (5), BITA BANTA (3) and EFFIE AWARDS (1) with each of these dogs being checked and losing ground. When questioned with regards to the seemingly improved performance of SALLY WEST, trainer M Dempsey explained that this dog had endured luckless runs of late but today was able to jump well and take advantage of a trouble-free trip in the running.
Race 8	Barron's Supplies Distance - C0d - 645	GIRL MAGIC was a late scratching at kennelling with a split nail. HIS LORDSHIP (2) was slow in the early stages. On the first bend KNOW AMBITION (4) was crowded between HOMEBUSH VIOLET (3) and MISS SELFIES (5) with this dog being checked and losing ground which in consequence caused some inconvenience to HIS LORDSHIP.
Race 9	Dave Robbie Photographer Dash - C2 - 295	TOKEN RAY (8) was slow to begin. GYPSY HUNTER (3) shifted inwards in the early stages causing some tightening to GOLDSTAR CHUMLEE (2) and JET TO MARS (9). KNOW MAYHEM (5) attempted to improve into a diminishing gap on the first bend between CAMRAY (4) and HOMEBUSH BRUNO (7), which was shifting ground inwards. Soon after KNOW MAYHEM became deprived of racing room causing the bitch to fall. This dog was referred to the Vet for an assessment.
Race 10	Opawa Bowl & Jack Tavern Stakes - C2 - 520	OPAWA BRO (9) JESSIE SURFS (6) and HYPERPARADISE (8) were all slow to begin. JESSIS SURFS shifted inwards and restricted the racing room of STICH UP (4) in the early stages. JESSIE SURFS became badly placed between GOLDSTAR ROSIE (7) and KNOW SECURITY (2) racing into the first turn causing it to blunder and lose ground. As a result of this the improving HYPERPARADISE made contact with JESSIE SURFS with both dogs being checked. OPAWA BRO improved up onto the heels of STICH UP (4) racing into the first bend which turned that dog outwards inconveniencing MR JOHNNY (1).
Race 11	C.T.V. Sprint - C2 - 295	MOMMA RAE (6) was slow in the early stages. CAWBOURNE CHIEF (8) ran inwards in the back straight placing GOLDSTAR MARIO (5), TIME SLAYER (3), and SAM'S FLYIN NORM (7) in restricted room with each dog losing some ground. GOLDSTAR MARIO ran outwards on the last bend and took SAM'S FLYIN NORM over extra ground.
Race 12	International Animal Health Products Dash - C2 - 295	GENIA HAKA (8) stumbled at the start and lost several lengths. EDITORIAL (7) shifted in over the early stages and checked NOT SO CUTE (6) HOORAY FOR HAZEL (5) and JUDITH MARY (4) resulting in JUDITH MARY being turned sideways. JUDITH MARY was then bumped heavily from behind by NOT SO CUTE which took it inwards and into the running line of HOORAY FOR HAZEL with these dogs being checked as well as the trailing JED NORTON (3) and OPAWA RUFUS (1).
