| Race 1 | ABSOLUTELY ELECTRICAL C1 - C1 - 520 | PREMIER DIVISION began awkwardly and settled at the rear and he was still last going into the first bend. PREMIER DIVISION did make up some ground from there but came to the end of his run in the home straight and finished in 5th place. MAGIC ARROW shifted away from the rail gong into the first turn and forced COME ON MICKEY, NASTY BIZO BOI, ACAPELLA and GIRL PRIDE to race wide going into the bend. NASTY BIZO BOI began to drift going into the final bend and he finished several lengths last and was referred to the Vet for assessment and cleared of injury. |
| Race 2 | HARRISON HIRE MASTER C2 - C2 - 305 | QUEEN COBRA was a little slow to begin losing two lengths. KIM DOTCOM shifted out across the heels of SHOWEM BABY on the bend and race wide into the straight covering extra ground. |
| Race 3 | www.RacingTips.co.nz C1/2 - C1/2 - 520 | ALPINADOR was the slowest to begin losing three lengths. DOLL PARTS was checked going into the first bend and lost two lengths. THRILLING AVA and MEGA GIRL were checked entering the back straight and they lost three lengths and never recovered. |
| Race 4 | PALAMOUNTAINS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITION C2 - C2 - 305 | FIRE BOY BAXTER and DAISY'S BOI were both inconvenienced soon after the start when there was movement from runners drawn on either side and they were unbalanced for a short distance. MEGA UPLOAD was handy to the lead going into the bend but was checked when COSMIC RASCAL shifted in and she was unbalanced and shifted out to race wide on the bend and into the straight and finished in last place. |
| Race 5 | LIQUORLAND WANGANUI C3 - C3 - 305 | OPAWA GIFT began awkwardly losing two lengths. TONGARIRO, RINGA DING and ANOTHER DRINK jostled together for a short distance going to the first corner and lost ground. JUST YOU WAIT and OPAWA GIFT ran wide into the straight covering extra ground. |
| Race 6 | WANGANUI SECURITY C3 - C3 - 305 | HANNIBAL LECTER shifted in abruptly from the start and bumped COSMIC CHOICE in onto SMIRNOFF and all three lost ground and settlled back. SMART COOKIE and CAWBOURNE BULLY jostled together going into the bend, becam unbalanced and shifted wide causing checks to FLYING BLAKE and HANNIBAL LECTER and all four lost ground in the incident. |
| Race 7 | CROMBIE LOCKWOOD (NZ) LTD C3 - C3 - 520 | RUTH'S RAIDER began awkwardly and made contact with MY LIL LUCIFER and then shifted out and bumped with I'M A CATCH and all three lost ground and settled at the rear. JACKANATOR checked off the heels of SPEEDY FEET going to the final bend and she lost momentum, drifted back to the rear and stayed there for the remainder of the race. |
| Race 8 | BOOK YOUR FUNCTION @ HATRICK C4 - C4 - 305 | BLUE SENIOR, ISABELLE DOMAIN and BOTANY PETE were slow to begin and settled back. BIT COIN shifted in going to the first corner and caused checks to BLUE SENIOR and ISABELLE DOMAIN and they lost ground and stayed back for the remainder of the race to finish in the last two places. |
| Race 9 | THE ROCK 95.2FM C4 - C4 - 305 | WEE DIGER was slow to begin losing three lengths and he then raced wide on the bend covering extra ground. |
| Race 10 | KEENAN CONCRETE C4/5 - C4/5 - 520 | BIGTIME JET was slow to begin losing a length but he recovered quickly and moved up on the inside of HELLO ELLO, bumping that runner out onto CHECK THE MAIL and they lost two lengths. BIGTIME JET shifted out approaching the straight entrance and forced EL JETTA and TINA'S DILEMA a little wide into the straight. |
| Race 11 | WANGANUI CHRONICLE C5 - C5 - 305 | HOMEBUSH CRASH began very awkwardly losiing several lengths and all chance. NGAURUHOE shifted in from the start causing checks to RUN LACEY RUN, WILD AS ANGELS, ENAZUMA and WATERBUG with WATERBUG and WILD AS ANGELS the most affected and they went back to near the rear. WATERBUG and WILD AS ANGELS continued to jostle together for some distance and they lost all chance and finished at the rear. WATERBUG was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have a cut in front of the main pad. |
| Race 12 | WANGANUI GRC PUNTER OF THE YEAR 15TH AUGUST C5 - C5 - 305 | WINFIELD BLACK, CALL ME RALPH and SWAPAN were slow to begin losing two lengths. VICKI'S QUEST shifted in going into the bend and checked WINFIELD BLACK which lost two lengths. |
