Track: Good The track was well presented and with all equipment functioning well, the meeting proceeded smoothly and concluded on time.

Judicial report: Trainer B.Johnston was issued with a warning after being late to kennel OPAWA GIFT for race 4 of the first lot of kennelling. Under The Minor Infringements Table, T.Agent the Trainer of STARLA was fined $ 100-00 under the provisions of Rule 69 .11 when the dog was presented 1.6 kilograms under its last start weight which was on 06.07.2014.

Race 1	ABSOLUTELY ELECTRICAL C2 - C2 - 305	SARAH'S COOL shifted in abruptly from the start and caused checks to VINNY DOON, OUR JACK ATTACK, KEZZ and KIM DOTCOM and they were all inconvenienced and lost ground. KIM DOTCOM recovered the best of the affected runners and she finished in 3rd place.
Race 2	HARRISON HIRE MASTER C2 - C2 - 305	HOMEBUSH VERONA and QUEEN COBRA were slow to begin and settled back but they made up ground well to finish in 2nd and 4th places. MISS COOL was observed to turn her head and shift out making body contact with MEGA UPLOAD in the home straight. MISS COOL was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have injuries requiring a 10 day stand down. However, she was stood down for 28 days for a breach of Rule 80.1 b for failing to pursue the lure and is required to complete a satisfactory trial under Rule 81.1 before her next raceday start.
Race 3	J P PRINT (PETONE) C2 - C2 - 305	RUN MISCHIEF RUN was the slowest to begin and settled back. NOT BAD shifted in abruptly from the start and inconvenienced HOMEBUSH ENVY, ROCK ON SPRITE and SENORITA CHANG and they lost ground. HOMEBUSH ENVY shifted in abruptly going into the bend and soon after, made contact with RUN MISCHIEF RUN and they jostled together at the rear for some distance and finished in the last two places.
Race 4	PALAMOUNTAINS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITION C3 - C3 - 305	FLYING TRANCE, which had not started for almost two months, was up in weight 1.8 kilograms from its last start and this was an intentional increase. NONU NONU BOOM was the slowest to begin and settled back. CAWBOURNE BULLY shifted out soon after the start and caused jostling to OPAWA SACHA, FLYING TRANCE and HOMEBUSH LIMBO and they all lost ground. NONU NONU BOOM galloped on the back of HOMEBUSH LIMBO going into the bend and they both lost ground and soon after, OPAWA GIFT and FLYING TRANCE also bumped together and lost ground.
Race 5	LIQUORLAND WANGANUI C3 - C3 - 305	REBEL KHAN and ANOTHER COLT were slow to begin and settled back. YA LAUGHIN began awkwardly but recovered very quickly to lead and went on to win the race.
Race 6	WANGANUI SECURITY C2 - C2 - 520	ON THE HOUSE shifted in across the heels of ALL ABOUT AMY soon after the start and was checked losing a length. ON THE HOUSE then shifted out going into the first corner and bumped with PADDY BAXTER and they were both briefly unbalanced and ran a little wide into the first bend.
Race 7	CROMBIE LOCKWOOD (NZ) LTD C5 - C5 - 305	FASTBACK KING was slow to begin losing three lengths and he stayed back throughout the race. BEE RABBIT and WILD PUNTING jostled together for some distance in the back straight and lost momentum and then FASTBACK KING galloped on the heels of WILD PUNTING on the bend and WILD PUNTING lost four lengths and stayed back to finish in last place and was referred to the Vet for assessment at the Trainers request and found to have a gracilus muscle injury.
Race 8	BOOK YOUR FUNCTION @ HATRICK C5 - C5 - 305	SUPER ROOSTER began a little awkwardly from box 8 and he settled back and stayed there throughout the race to finish in last place.
Race 9	NZ Racing Series Sprint Final - NZRSf - 305	WILD AS ANGELS shifted ibn going into the first corner and momentarily hampered FIGLIA and RUN STACEY RUN with that runner easing back onto HOMEBUSH CRASH which lost a length.
Race 10	KEENAN CONCRETE C4/5 - C4/5 - 520	BACKYARD BULLY and BIGTIME JET jostled together for some distance after the start and they both lost some momentum and settled at the rear.
Race 11	WANGANUI CHRONICLE C3/4 - C3/4 - 305	MATILDA'S BABE and DOLLY PEG shared the lead on the bend where they made contact and DOLLY PEG was checked and dropped back onto LOOKS ALL GOOD and they both lost ground.
Race 12	WANGANUI GRC PUNTER OF THE YEAR 15TH AUGUST C3/4 - C3/4 - 305	STARBURST BLANCH and JUMPIN SALLY brushed together for some distance going to the first turn and they became unbalanced as a result and settled at the rear and never recovered.
