Track: Heavy Although the racing was conducted in very cold and wet conditions the track remained safe throughout the day.
Scales: Correct at all weights
Health and Safety comment: Nil.

Judicial report: GOLDSTAR FRANKIE (J McInerney) completed a satisfactory trial as required by Rule 81. BLICKLING BRIDGE (A Joyce) completed a satisfactory trial in blinkers and as per Rule 68.22 will wear them in future races. Trainers J Lane and R Wales were fined $100.00 as per the Minor Infringements Table after admitting a breach of Rule 69.11 when OPAWA BRO was presented 2.0 kgs under his last race weight on 22 June 2014.

Race 1	Super Pets Maiden Stakes - C0 - 520	OHOKA TOO SOON (6) was last on settling after OPAWA OPAL (5) had angled outwards. OPAWA OPAL again ran outwards into the first bend checking OHOKA TOO SOON. BOTANY JOHN (2) checked outwards on the first bend and pushed BOOSTIN' (7) and EFFIE AWARDS (8) over extra ground. BOTANY CHRIS (1) raced in tight quarters on the home turn when positioned to the inside of his brother BOTANY JOHN.
Race 2	Happy Birthday Denise Barron Dash - C0 - 295	SMASH STYLE (5) was a clear last on jumping. SPARROW (1) received a check into the bend as BOTANY WIN (6) crossed to the rail. PASS WITH CARE (3) checked off heels on the turn and lost ground.
Race 3	Mamaja At Stud Sprint - C0 - 295	LOOK LEFT (1) and HOMEBUSH MISHA (7) were the last pair to leave the traps. GOLDSTAR DEEJAY (6) and UNRELIABLE ANDY (8) came together for a stride in the early stages. This pair then shifted down the track into the bend tightening LOOK LEFT and HOMEBUSH MISHA who both lost ground. GOLDSTAR DEEJAY was held up for clear room on the home turn.
Race 4	Dave Robbie Photographer Sprint - C2 - 295	NOT SO CUTE (4) ran inwards into the bend tightening CEC DIVINE (2) and GYPSY HUNTER (1) who both lost ground. TIME SLAYER (5) was jammed up between runners into the bend and lost momentum.
Race 5	Flatpack Houses Ph. Murray 021480250 Dash - C0 - 295	AXEL FOLEY (1) and ARCHIE'S INDY (5) were the last pair from the traps. RACONTEUR (4) and ARCHIE'S INDY were both tightened into the bend losing ground. AXEL FOLEY was denied clear room over the concluding stages as LA VENTANA (6) angled inwards.
Race 6	Johnny Midnight At Stud Sprint - C2 - 295	TOKEN RAY (8) was a shade slow to jump. LA FONTAINE (4) was tightened in the early stages and dropped to the rear.
Race 7	Garden City Chem-Dry Distance - C0d - 645	CAWBOURNE MIAMI (1) and ARCHIE'S COMET (2) were last to jump. VOUSSOIR (9) was tightened into the first bend as HOLIVIA LASS (4) crossed to the rail. VOUSSOIR then ran outwards into the path of GOLDSTAR JUNIOR (5) and SCOTSOME POWER (7) with VOUSSOIR falling. RUNAWAY TAXI (8) was also badly hampered in this incident. VOUSSOIR was assessed by the vet following this fall.
Race 8	Amber Cleaning Services Dash - C3 - 295	ZULU BRO (8) was very slow to jump with HERSHY PIE (4) and OUT BACK BILL (7) also settling well back. BOTANY PRANCER (5) was tightened into the bend and lost ground. OPAWA LEAN MEAT (2) angled marginally outwards on the turn causing a slight check to ADVANCED PEDRO (3). BOTANY PRANCER and OPAWA LEAN MEAT came together for a stride on the home turn.
Race 9	Hampden Tavern Stakes Heat 1 - C2q - 520 Heat 1	JIBBAJABBA JEWEL (2) ran outwards in the early stages tightening OPAWA JEAN (3), BLUSHING BELLE (4), CAWBOURNE POLLY (5) and THUMB PRINT TONY (6) with this quartet settling at the rear. Into the back straight STICH UP (1) checked outwards off the back of THUMB PRINT TONY and lost a length. SHEEZA FLOWER (8) was unbalanced for a stride when improving on the home turn.
Race 10	C.T.V. Dash - C3 - 295	MARBELLA (1) was slow to jump and ANOTHER GROOM (4) stumbled after a couple of strides dropping to the rear. GOLDSTAR CHUMLEE (9) and HILTON FRIDAY (5) were both tightened into the bend and lost ground.
Race 11	Hampden Tavern Stakes Heat 2 - C2q - 520 Heat 2	WAGON WHEEL (2) was last to jump. In the early stages KAINO (7) ran inwards as KNOW SECURITY (3) angled outwards resulting in OPAWA BRO (4), OPAWA MICHELLE (5) and KAREN'S MAGIC (6) all being tightened and losing ground. Into the first bend MR. JOHNNY (1) checked outwards off the back of KAINO causing GOLDSTAR JEANIE (8) to run out of room and fall. OPAWA BRO and OPAWA MICHELLE were both badly checked in this incident. KAREN'S MAGIC then received a check and lost momentum when racing to the outside of MR. JOHNNY. Following the race the faller GOLDSTAR JEANIE was referred to the vet for assessment.
Race 12	Speight's Sprint - C3 - 295	RED HOT FURY (8) was last to jump. ANOTHER ANOTHER (4) was tightened in the early stages and dropped to the rear. FLEUR DU LIYS (1) and WUNZEE (2) both lost ground into the turn when tightened along the rail.
