| Race 1 | The Clubhouse Sports Bar Sprint - C4 - 375 | Racing in to the first bend HAJIME was tightened between TAYLA ROSE and COCKY APPEAL, HAJIME went back on to JUNIOR WHAT, both runners lost ground to be last in the running . HAJIME finished several lengths in the rear at the line and was referred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found. |
| Race 2 | Mike Stent Decorators Ltd Series Heat 1 - C1q - 457 Heat 1 | OPAWA STU went up with the lids losing several lengths on his inner MONTY DOSH and RADLEE REASON both began slow, these three dogs were a clear last in the early running. Racing in to the first bend OPAWA STU was checked when avoiding the heels of RADLEE REASON. OPAWA STU raced in the rear there after finishing several lengths in the rear at the line ,this was his first start for some time. |
| Race 3 | Superior Chunky Dog Rolls Sprint - C3 - 375 | TOI SHAN shifted inwards shortly after the start checking LOCKETT IN EDDIE, THRILLING CHARLY and BOSS APPEAL, with these four runners all losing ground. RASSO was observed to briefly get caught under the rail on finishing on the lure and was sent to the Vet for assessment with no abnormality being found. |
| Race 4 | Mike Stent Decorators Ltd Series Heat 2 - C1q - 457 Heat 2 | BENGHAZI was slow to begin and settled at the rear before having to check off the heels of TEMPERATE KING on the top bend and then finished on into 5th place. |
| Race 5 | Greyhounds North Graduation Distance - C1d - 650 | BELLA FORZA was slow to begin and raced at the rear throughout. ATOM BOMB ran wide down the back straight and then shifted out early in the run home. |
| Race 6 | Te Awamutu Self Storage Sprint - C5 - 375 | NEED TO CHILL and ERUZA briefly came together approaching the turn. HARVEY NICHOLS lost some momentum on the turn when briefly held up for clear racing room. BOTANY DOWNS (fav) was hampered racing into the first turn when attempting to angle across other runners and was was checked on the top bend when KISSEN RUN shifted outwards. |
| Race 7 | YGOT Bonus Scheme Stakes - C3 - 457 | TEN POINT ONE shifted inwards entering the turn forcing WABI SABI down onto MULTICAM LAD with resultant interference to YOU'RE LUCKY, with these runners all losing ground. YES NO MAYBE was also checked in this incident when racing to the inside of ARMISTICE DAY which was angling inwards. YES NO MAYBE was then further checked when LOCHINVAR ROSSI shifted out across the heels of TEN POINT ONE and carried YES NO MAYBE wider on the track. |
| Race 8 | All Sew Embroidery Stakes - C4 - 457 | Soon after the start JINGA JAM, COAL SACK and BORNATO all came together. Racing in to the first turn PINK BOUQUET angled inwards causing VALAIN'S FLYER to be checked and run out bumping in to COAL SACK with BORNATO caught between them being checked back to the rear. BORNATO and JINGA JAM raced widest across the top bend. |
| Race 9 | Garrard's Horse & Hound Sprint - C5 - 375 | Racing on to the top bend CHARMING NEV raced out wide forcing COTSWALD PRINCE wider out at this point. CHARMING NEV raced wide thereafter covering a fair amount of extra ground in the running. |
| Race 10 | NZ Advanced Racing Series Final - NZRSf - 457 | THRILLING CARTER ( fav ) began awkwardly for the first couple of strides. Racing in to the first turn REALLY CLEVER angled inwards tightening BEV'S VIEWPOINT who went back catching the heels of REALLY CLEVER losing a couple of lengths. |
| Race 11 | Palamountains Nutrition Stakes - C5 - 457 | PREMIER OSTI began awkwardly soon after coming together with BOTANY JUNCTION as this runner moved outwards. Racing towards the first turn SASSY ROAD angled across towards the rail tightening JANNIK in on to THRILLING EDGE for a stride or so. Racing in to the first turn JANNIK came out on to BOTANY JUNCTION and PREMIER OSTI resulting in them going back towards the rear. |
| Race 12 | 0800 4 Down Cow Stakes - C2 - 457 | MINNIE FOR MUM was checked shortly after the start when racing between UNCLE ROMILLY and LOCHINVAR ONYX which both shifted ground. TEEMARIA and SHANDELL came together on straightening for the run home and lost some momentum. MINNIE FOR MUM and LOCHINVALE ONYX raced in the rear through out finishing well back at the line and were both referred to the Vet for assessment with no abnormalities being detected in either runner. |
| Race 13 | Non Tote Sprint - Tier 2 - 375 | ASIA OSTEE shifted in approaching the turn inconveniencing FORTIS FLIER for several strides. HIGH CALIBRE shifted in on the turn and forced FORTIS LION down onto SUNDAY DRIVER which was checked and lost several lengths. FRENCH CURVES moved out towards the centre of the track racing on the outer across the top bend entering the straight where she was observed to be uncomfortable in her galloping action finishing a margin at the rear and was referred to the Vet for assessment which found no abnormality. |
