Judicial report: Trainer J McInerney was fined $50.00 after admitting to being late to kennel SHADOW BAXTER for Race 2. All handlers are reminded that when catching following a race the dress code in operation for the day must be adhered to.

Race 1 Super Pets Dash - C1 - 295 QUE TEE PIX (6) dropped to the rear in the early stages. KNOW SKILL (8) ran inwards into the bend tightening MEMPHIS GIRL (7) and ANOTHER PLANE (5) who both lost ground.
Race 2 Opawa Bowl & Jack Tavern Stakes Heat 1 - C1q - 520 Heat 1 SPEEDY SWEDE (9) was last to jump with ARCHIE'S COMET (3) losing ground in the early stages.
Race 3 Shirley Vet Clinic Sprint - C1 - 295 After a perfect start to the race JASPER HAKA (4) was tightened soon after and dropped to the rear. WAXEYE'S BIG KID (2) and GOLDSTAR BRIDIE (3) were both tightened into the bend and lost ground. TONY'S CHOICE (7) was checked into the bend as HOME TRUTH (8) crossed from his outside. GOLDSTAR BRIDIE was again checked on the home turn and dropped to a clear last.
Race 4 Opawa Bowl & Jack Tavern Stakes Heat 2 - C1q - 520 Heat 2 OPAWA PEARL (7) was a clear last on jumping. VOUSSOIR (4) and TODDY'S A FLYER (3) were tightened into the first bend and lost ground. CAR BOOTLE (5) was trapped wide around the first bend. ZULU DEB (1) was checked at the end of the back straight as TODDY'S A FLYER ran inwards.
Race 5 Happy Birthday Craig Roberts Dash - C1 - 295 OHOKA STRIKA (8) was last to jump with LINE HONOURS (1) and TAI BAXTER (4) dropping to rearward positions in the early stages. QUE TEE CHICKS (5) ran inwards in the back straight checking LINCOLN FLYER (3) for a stride. OHOKA STRIKA kept a wide path around the home turn when well back.
Race 6 Opawa Bowl & Jack Tavern Stakes Heat 3 - C1q - 520 Heat 3 OPAWA DOSH (4) and FANCY KIWI (5) were the last pair on jumping. HOMEBUSH GINGER (6) was checked in the early stages as KNOW JUDGE (7) shifted down the track. HOMEBUSH GINGER was again tightened into the first bend as OPAWA DOSH angled outwards. OPAWA DOSH checked off the heels of KNOW JUDGE on the home turn losing momentum.
Race 7 Clarkson Sign Studio Sprint - C1 - 295 PORKY PIG (7) ran inwards sharply in the early stages causing all runners to her inside being checked to varying degrees with NEDDY SEAGOON (5), HOMEBUSH SAXON (3) and MOP HEAD (1) being the worst affected. NEDDY SEAGOON was forced wide on the bend when attempting to improve. MOP HEAD and ZIGGY WAR PAINT (6) came together on the home turn when well back.
Race 8 Opawa Bowl & Jack Tavern Stakes Heat 4 - C1q - 520 Heat 4 SOUMILLON (7) was last to jump. JAZZBOY JACK (4) was tightened in the run to the first bend as JESSIE SURFS (5) angled inwards. JAZZBOY JACK then checked off heels into the back straight losing momentum for a stride. CASINO BLACK (1) ran wide on the home turn.
Race 9 Barron's Supplies Dash - C1 - 295 BOTANY ZENVO (4) was a clear last on jumping. BLAZING HOT (5) took a spectacular fall after the line and a vet check revealed a blood nose with no stand down required. When questioned in regards to the improved performance of the winner GOLDSTAR CHYNA (8), co-trainer B Evans stated that the room afforded to the bitch by a wide draw was in her favour today.
Race 10 Opawa Bowl & Jack Tavern Stakes Heat 5 - C1q - 520 Heat 5 HOMEBUSH BRUNO (5) and DEE (6) angled inwards into the first bend causing FLYING AMELIA (4), CULVIE SPRITE (3), CAWBOURNE MIAMI (2) and BOTANY SEL (1) all to be tightened and lose ground. HOMEBUSH BRUNO angled outwards into the first bend causing THRILLING SOUND (8) to race wide at this stage.
Race 11 C.T.V. Sprint - C1 - 295 ARCHIE'S TIME (5) was checked in the early stages and dropped to the rear. BLICKLING BRIDGE (3), SMOKING MARLEY (7) and BOWMAN (1) were all tightened into the bend and lost ground with ARCHIE'S TIME being sent wide around these runners. On the home turn RUNWAY QUEEN (4) checked outwards off the heels of the pacemaking JET TO MARS (2) and pushed KNOW LAUGHING (8) wider on the track. SMOKING MARLEY checked outwards on the home turn when looking for racing room. Co-trainer C Mitchell was questioned in regards to the improved performance of the winner JET TO MARS. She stated that the dog had been freshened since last racing and had trialled nicely last week in preparation for this race.
Race 12 Speight's Dash - C1 - 295 KNOW MAYHEM (4), OLLIE BAXTER (5) and EYES ON LULU (6) were the last trio on jumping. HOMEBUSH ERROL (3) was badly checked into the bend when racing to the outside of TRUMPED UP (1) with HOMEBUSH ERROL drifting back through the field. The trailing OUR CHARLOTTE (8) and MIGHTY TWIST (2) were unable to avoid HOMEBUSH ERROL with this trio all losing their feet and falling. All three dogs were assessed by the vet post race.
