| Race 1 | Awapuni Stakes C0 - C0 - 457 | TE MAARI STYLE, LITTLE PROPHET, BIG JOB JONESY and WAIRERE MIKE came together going to the first corner and they jostled and lost four lengths. TE MAARI STYLE reccovered the best from the incident and finished in 4th place. |
| Race 2 | Woodville Dash C0 - C0 - 375 | BUZZY AS checked off the heels CAWBOURNE MALKY on the bend and shifted out losing four lengths but ran on in the straight to finish in 5th place. FIJIAN DANDY and WHEELIE RASCAL raced very wide on the bend and into the homme straight covering extra ground. |
| Race 3 | J P Print,Petone C1 - C1 - 375 | FREEDOM FLYER shifted in abruptly from the start and caused checks to CRYSTAL GHOST, AMELIORATE and LEMON FISH which all lost ground and they settled at the rear. FREEDOM FLYER bumped with GOMAN NINNIE going into the bend which resulted in that runner shifting out into the line of DOGGED DAN which was checked losing four lengths and he never recovered the lost ground. |
| Race 4 | Peter Sinclair Photo Finish C2 - C2 - 375 | ARIZONA SKY which was having its first New Zealand start was 2.2 kilograms up in weight from its last start and this was an intentional increase. BOOMERANG MAN was the slowest to begin losing two lengths. QUEEN COBRA made contact with the hind quarters of MISS COOL going into the bend and they both became unbalanced and shifted out losing two lengths. |
| Race 5 | Manawatu Raceway C1 - C1 - 457 | JINJA PAT and SHINY UPSOME came together when the start was made and SHINY UPSOME blundered and lost four lengths and she stayed back throughout the race to finish in last place. SHINZIGZAG shifted in soon after the start and hampered JINJA PAT and LOCHINVAR MAUI momentarily. |
| Race 6 | Marton Dash C3 - C3 - 375 | CAWBOURNE BULLY began a little awkwardly and settled back. He then drifted off the rear of the field and finished several lengths last and was referred to the Vet for assessment and cleared of injury. |
| Race 7 | www.racingdogs.co.nz C4 HT 1 - C4q - 375 Heat 1 | EMMA MARIE shifted in from the start and crowded CRYSTAL WAVE and the crowding continued for some distance which resulted in both dogs losing ground and they stayed back at the rear throughout the race. |
| Race 8 | Ashurst Dash C4 HT 2 - C4q - 375 Heat 2 | REBEL CITY, MISS FOXY MINX, DOLLY PEG and CAWBOURNE RAVE came together and jostled for a short distance soon after the start and lost ground. CAWBOURNE RAVE checked off the back of MISS FOXY MINX going into the bend and he almost fell losing five lengths and all chance. |

| Race 10 | Shannon Dash C5 - C5 - 375 | WISE CRACK LAD was tightened between ARMED FORCES and BEE RABBIT going into the bend and was checked and shifted out. This resulted in interferance to BEE RABBIT, ENHANCER and BLUE AND CURLY and they never recovered and finished in the last four places. |

ALAMEIN KAT was in 2nd place going into the bend but then went off stride and appeared awkward in her galloping action and drifted back to eventually finish several lengths last. ALAMEIN KAT was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have a carpus injury. |
| Race 12 | Steve Davis Auctioneers Jackpot Dog C2/3 - C2/3 - 457 | RUTH'S RAIDER was slow to begin losing two lengths but made up ground to finish in 4th place. TEN POINT ON, SPACE RACE and NOAKI HURRICANE jostled together for a short distance after the start and lost ground. TEN POINT ONE checked off the heels of HEAR HARE HERE going into the bend, became unbalanced and lost ground. |
