GLENADDIS was tightened between EMMA MARIE and VICKI'S QUEST going into the bend and they were all checked with GLENADDIS the most affected and they stayed back to finish in the last three places. |
| Race 2 | NZ Racing Series Sprint Ht 2 - NZRSq - 305 Heat 2 | EVER SO HOPEFUL and RUAPEHU bumped together soon after the start and settled back. SWAPAN shifted in going into the bend and ANOTHER COLT had to check of his heels and a short distance further on, RUAPEHU also had to check off the heels of SWAPAN and all three runners lost ground. |

SOPHIE'S TERRA and LOOKS ALL GOOD brushed together for some distance going to the first corner. LOOKS ALL GOOD was then tightened between SOPHIE'S TERRA and OSCAR TUIVASA going into the bend and lost three lengths. SOPHIE'S TERRA was tightened between GO FERN GO and OSCAR TUIVASA on the home turn and was shuffled back to near the rear and never recovered. |

THRILLING DAZE was then tightened between HOMEBUSH SARGE and LOST IN LIGHT going into the bend and was checked losing five lengths and all chance. |

MEGA GIRL shifted in approaching the home turn, hampering ZAMADDIS LASS which shifted shifted out causing checks to OPAWA CASSIDY and ADDA BOY ZEKE and all three lost ground and they finished in the last three places. |
| Race 8 | CROMBIE LOCKWOOD (NZ) LTD C3 - C3 - 305 | OPAWA SACHA was slow to begin losing three lengths. CAWBOURNE BULLY and HOMEBUSH COCO bumped together soon after the start and HOMEBUSH COCO settled at the rear. HOMEBUSH COCO went off stride on the bend and drifted further behind to finsh several lengths last and was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have a calf muscle strain. |

He then improved to the inside of HEAR HARE HERE, simultaneously as SPACE RACE moved up on the outside and there was contact between the three going into the bend and SPACE RACE and HEAR HARE HERE were checked losing three lengths. |

NEED TO CHILL and POPSOME TAGS collided soon after and they both lost two lengths and never recovered the lost ground. |
