Judicial report: SMASH WHO (M Grant) completed a box trial as required by Rule 72.13. Handler B Cole advised Stewards that the runners from the kennel of L Ahern would be late for their first kennelling due to transport delays in the North Island.

Race 1	Super Pets Sprint - C4 - 295	FLY CANARY FLY (4) ran outwards in the early stages checking OHOKA COBY (5) and MARY MARLOW (6). FLY CANARY FLY and OHOKA COBY came together into the bend. ANOTHER GROOM (8) was badly checked into the bend when improving to the outside of WANDY LUCK (7) and dropped to the rear. In the home straight WANDY LUCK angled inwards causing MARY MARLOW to check and change ground to the outside losing momentum.
Race 2	Anglers Arms Tavern Stakes - C3 - 520	HIS LORDSHIP (8) was last to jump. OHOKA FRENCHI (6) was checked on the first bend and lost ground as HIS LORDSHIP ran inwards. RAMBUNCTIOUS (9) dropped out to finish last. As this runner is engaged at tomorrow's meeting he was checked by the vet and found to be free of injury.
Race 3	Thursday Place Pick Stakes - C4 - 520	OPAWA RAPID (8) came up with the lids and settled last. OPAWA JED (3), BRIGHTON BULLET (4) and CAWBOURNE PHILIP (7) were all forced wide around the first bend losing ground with OPAWA RAPID being held up for a few strides. Stewards withheld payment until video coverage confirmed that OPAWA RAPID had received a fair start.
Race 4	David Emerson Consultancy Harding Cup Heat 1 - C5q - 295 Heat 1	This race was deferred by three minutes at the request of Raceday Control. KERAMUS (3) and RODRIGUEZ (7) were the last pair on settling. GO HOUSIE (2) and ANOTHER JEWEL (1) were both tightened into the bend and lost ground. TERRA ANNIE (8) was trapped wide throughout.
Race 5	David Emerson Consultancy Harding Cup Heat 2 - C5q - 295 Heat 2	PEARL'S BOY (4) was last on settling. LYNNY SOUTHCOMBE (9) was tightened into the bend and lost ground. BUTTERBEAN (8) was badly checked on the bend and dropped to the rear.
Race 6	Glenbyre Tavern Stakes - C4/5 - 520	KNOW ATTEMPT (5) was last to jump. JINJA POWER (6) was badly checked into the first bend as kennelmate CRACKING CHAIN (8) crossed inwards. KNOW AMBITION (1) checked outwards losing momentum on that first bend when held up behind runners.
Race 7	David Emerson Consultancy Harding Cup Heat 3 - C5q - 295 Heat 3	HETFIELD (7) was last to jump. KNOW JEALOUSY (5) checked and lost ground on the turn when racing to the outside of SMASH RUMOUR (3) with HETFIELD being forced wide to avoid them.
Race 8	David Emerson Consultancy Harding Cup Heat 4 - C5q - 295 Heat 4	CAWBOURNE DASHER (2) and MY MATE SPARROW (8) were the last pair on jumping. MY MATE SPARROW remained very wide on the track throughout. TEPIRITA CHARGER (3) and KNOW ADVANTAGE (1) were both tightened into the bend when racing to the inside of ROQETTE (4).
Race 9	Active Electrical Christchurch New Zealand St Leger Heat 1 - R/Aq - 520 Heat 1	DREAM COLLECTOR (4) was last to jump. Into the first bend ANDREA (5) crossed to the rail and tightened CAWBOURNE WAR (1) who then ran outwards checking CARAT'S PRINCE (2), ALWAYS WELCOME (3), PUNCH ON JAIME (8) and DREAM COLLECTOR.
Race 10	Active Electrical Christchurch New Zealand St Leger Heat 2 - R/Aq - 520 Heat 2	PALUCKA (4) was last to jump and then came together with CHECK THE MAIL (5) for a stride. Into the first bend CULVIE MAGIC (6) and LADY SHAMBI (7) were both tightened and lost ground. CHECK THE MAIL (5) was badly checked attempting to avoid these runners and continued to run wide for some strides causing him and LADY SHAMBI to lose their chances. LITTLE REGIS (3) shortened stride over the concluding stages and was found to be suffering from mild cramp.
Race 11	Active Electrical Christchurch New Zealand St Leger Heat 3 - R/Aq - 520 Heat 3	ROBBIE (8) was last to jump. JAWLAA (5) ran inwards in the early stages coming together with TIFINO (2). TIFINO then shifted up the track checking RITZA DANNY (7) and ROBBIE. RITZA DANNY was tightened on the first bend and lost ground. CAWBOURNE ABBI (1) and OPAWA ZARA (4) came together on the home turn when racing in midfield.
Race 12	Speight's Sprint - C4 - 295	KNOW LIES (3) was last to jump. TEAM DREAM (4) shifted outwards in the home straight pushing PRINCELY DOLLAR (6) wider on the track.
