Weather: OvercastTrack: Good track was presented in a very good racing order. All equipment operated well through out the meeting.

| Race 1 | Palamountains Nutrition Sprint - C3 - 375 | From the boxes HAJIME raced across towards the rail ,LOCKETT IN EDDIE was forced in to THRILLY CHARLY, soon after in to the first turn FANCY MY LUCK crossed to wards the rail checking ACTING UP who went back on to LOCKETT IN EDDIE . ACTING UP went back with THRILLING CHARLY being badly hampered as he ran on to the back of ACTING UP ,these runners all lost ground at this point LOCKETT IN EDDDIE ran wide on to the bend forcing NEWTON WILLOW wider out both runners covering a fair amount of extra ground ,NEWTON WILLOW made good ground in to 4th placing at the line. |
| Race 2 | Mike Stent Decorators Stakes - C1 - 457 | Soon after the start BLACK DUDE and SUNDAY DRIVER bumped ,both dogs were unbalanced for a stride or so. racing in to the first turn BLACK DUDE was hampered for several strides when trying to clear the hind quarters of SUNDAY DRIVER. BENGHAZI was forced to race out wide on to the top bend as SUNDAY DRIVER improved through on his outer. |
| Race 3 | All Sew Embroidery Sprint - C2 - 375 | Trainer P Cleaver applied to the Stewards to strap both front wrists on URBAN COMBAT for todays race. EXCITING DREAM missed the start slightly, racing in to the first turn ENGLISH HONEY was tightened and checked going back on to OPAWA JOHNNY, both dogs lost momentum and ground at this point. URBAN COMBAT was first away in to the lead racing on to the bend where he went off stride and drifted to the middle of the track finishing a margin in the rear at the line and was referred to the vet for assessment where he was found to have a stopper pad injury to the left fore. |
| Race 4 | YGOT Bonus Scheme Sprint - C4 - 375 | Racing away from the start RUN KAYLA RUN was tightened and jostled between runners for several strides as she came out across heels to be the widest runner dropping back several lengths in the rear. RUN KAYLA RUN was observed to be uncomfortable in her galloping action there after finishing a margin in the rear at the line and was referred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found. |
| Race 5 | Greyhounds North Graduation Distance - C1d - 650 | At the jump ALL ABOUT AMY and THRILLING REBEL came together. Racing around the first bend ALPINADOR was forced to cover extra ground as RAMAH REASON made ground on his inner, soon after ALL ABOUT AMY was tightened and checked back as WAY TO CRUDE improved through the field crowding THRILLING REBEL inwards, ALL ABOUT AMY lost momentum back towards the rear and was unable to get back in to contention there after. |
| Race 6 | Fond Foods Ltd Sprint - C5 - 375 | CRACKLES APPEAL was a late scratching at kennelling when presented with pain on flexion of right carpus a 10 day stand down was imposed BIG JAMSEY ( fav ) dwelt at the start and was forced to make ground around runners to get handy finishing in second placing at the line. |
| Race 7 | NZ Racing Series Graduation Final - NZRSf - 457 | SHANDELL ( fav ) began awkwardly from the inner being last in the early ARMASTICE DAY also began awkwardly from box 3. SHANDELL attempted to make ground in to the first turn but was checked bas TEN POINT ONE was tightened and jostled going back on to SHANDELL, soon after racing across the top SHANDELL and TEN POINT ONE were checked and tightened for a couple of strides losing ground. SHANDELL attempted to run on in the home straight finishing in 6th placing at the line and was referred to the vet as a precaution where no abnormalities were found. |
| Race 8 | The Clubhouse Sports Bar Stakes - C2 - 457 | VERY CHILLY was boxed first today after playing up at the Start on Sunday last at AGRC. From the jump MISS VELOCETTE cut across the face of CAWBOURNE PENNY who lost 5 lengths and was unable to get in contention there after. In the run in to the first bend MISS VELOCETTE and TEEMARIA were tightened and checked as JELLY GEM improved between runners to get handy ,a few strides on MISS VELLOCETTE ran on to the heels of JELLY GEM stumbling slightly losing momentum back towards the rear, she was further hampered again as CAWBOURNE PENNY caught her hindquarters when making ground. MISS VELOCETTE finished towards the rear at the line and was referred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found. |
| Race 9 | Superior Chunky Dog Rolls Sprint - C5 - 375 | Racing in to the first bend CHARMING NEV checked across the heels of JOSH HART and raced wide across the top bend in to the home straight covering a fair amount of extra ground through out finishing in last placing at the line. |
| Race 10 | 0800 4 Down Cow Stakes - C5 - 457 | From the boxes JANNIK, SASSY ROAD, FANCY AMIGO,ZAGATO and REALLY CLEVER ( fav ) all tightened in to each other jostling for a couple of strides. REALLY CLEVER lost a length or so and was held up soon after when attempting to improve ,once he gained clear racing room he ran in to midfield and battled away there after finishing in 4th placing at the line. Racing in to the bend SASSY ROAD and ZAGATO bumped together jostling each other for a few strides but were well back at this point. |
| Race 11 | Hautapu Veterinary Clinic Stakes - C3 - 457 | From the boxes DIVA RHODE came in on to THRILLING STYLE and MULTICAM LAD pushing them inwards as BEAU RIVAGE ran in to the hind quarters of YES NO MAYBE as KAISER MAX ran out in to YES NO MAYBE, all these runners were jostled and tightened for a couple of strides. racing to the first turn there was jostling and buffeting between several runners as MULTICAM LAD attempted to cross in and YOUR'E LUCKY resulting in KAISER MAX being forced back and coming together with BEAU RIVAGE who almost made contact with the rail becoming unbalanced with both dogs losing ground. DIVA RHODE racing wide and well back in to the first turn became unbalanced and was uncomfortable in her galloping action there after finishing well back at the line. BEAU RIVAGE and DIVA RHODE were both referred to the vet for assessment. |
| Race 12 | Affordable Pet Accessories Stakes - C4 - 457 | Racing towards the first turn KNUCLE BUMP ( fav ) angled outwards becoming slightly unbalanced for a stride or two losing some ground, soon after racing in to the bend COAL SACK caught the heels of KNUCKLE BUMP as they crossed in towards the rail, KNUCKLE BUMP was forced to make ground around the field finishing strongly in the run home to finish in to 3rd placing at the line. |
| Race 13 | Non Tote Sprint - Tier 2 - 375 | Racing in to the first turn there was crowding and jostling as HIGH CALIBRE angled inwards and STILL DON'T KNOW was pushed sideways as FORTIS LION was forced inwards, MAJOR TOM and MONTY DOSH were both checked back towards the rear. Racing on to the bend STILL DON'T KNOW came out forcing HASHTAG JOSH wide racing on to the top bend ,MONTY DOSH in behind these runners ran wider to avoid heels. Nearing the home turn STILL DON'T KNOW and HASHTAG JOSH ran wide as STILL DON'T KNOW pushed outwards. MONTY DOSH after racing wide on to the top bend made good ground in the run in to finish in 6th placing at the line. |
