Race 1	ABSOLUTELY ELECTRICAL C0 - C0 - 305	BIGTIME FLO and WHEELIE OVER IT were slow to begin. LIL MISS PICKY shifted out shortly after the start hampering DARK WITCH which had to check across the heels of that runner. LIL MISS PICKY continued its outward movement hampering GOODTIME HELEN along the back straight. WHEELIE OVER IT angled out rounding the bend making heavy contact with FORTIS MEMORIES. WHEELIE OVER IT was then obliged to make its run wide entering the home straight. BIGTIME FLO and LIL MISS PICKY jostled entering the home straight and shortly after BIGTIME FLO contacted the heel of LIL MISS PICKY resulting in the greyhound losing its hind footing briefly.
Race 2	J P PRINT 9PETONE) C0 - C0 - 305	SHINZIGZAG which was slow away, was able to improve up through the inside and go on to win the race impressively. FOXIARNA was crowded shortly after the start between WAIRERE MIKE and PORTOBELLO PATSY which shifted ground outward. HOMEBUSH CELIA, WHEELIE RASCAL and LUM JUM were all crowded for some distance approaching the bend when racing between FOXIARNA which was attempting to shift ground outward and CUTS DEEP which angled inwards. Rounding the bend, PORTOBELLO PATSY shifted out off the heels of WAIRERE MIKE resulting in FOXIARNA which was trailing being checked. WHEELIE RASCAL which trailed these runners was forced to make its run wide.
Race 3	WWW.WANGANUIGREYHOUNDS.CO.NZ C0 F - C0f - 305	DARK FAERYTALES and BOTANY RICHIE jostled for a distance along the back straight. Approaching the bend, HOMEBUSH PIPPI when racing in restricted room shifted out hampering IT'S THE DREAM which was forced wider. BOTANY RICHIE improved up onto the heels of LENNY MAC rounding the bend and shifted out hampering DARK FAERYTALES, HOMEBUSH PIPPI and IT'S THE DREAM. Shortly after, when racing at the rear of the field DARK FAERYTALES angled out and bumped with HOMEBUSH PIPPI.
Race 4	HARRISON HIRE MASTER C0 - C0 - 520	LICHFEILD LADY shifted out passing the winning post on the first occasion making heavy contact with BLU DESIRE.
Race 5	WANGANUI SECURITY C1 - C1 - 305	OPAWA ROMEO was momentarily crowded after the start when CRYSTAL GHOST shifted inwards. Rounding the bend when leading HOMEBUSH MARLOW eased when free of interference and went back losing three lengths. HOMEBUSH MARLOW was referred to the Veterinarian and found to have pain in both wrists with a 28 day stand down recommended. When at the rear of the field OPAWA ROMEO and HOMEBUSH ANABEL made heavy contact resulting in both runners becoming unbalanced and losing ground. The connections of CALAMITY SUE requested that the greyhound be examined by the Veterinarian which revealed a mild hock sprain.
Race 6	THE ROCK 95.2FM C1 - C1 - 305	WAR ON TERROR which after beginning only fairly, improved up in between runners and shifted out checking WORKING MIDNIGHT, BILLY BRAND and KING'S SELECTION. The worst effected runners were WORKING MIDNIGHT and BILLY BRAND who both lost considerable ground and effectively all chance.
Race 7	WANGANUI PUNTER OF THE YEAR 15TH AUGUST C1 - C1 - 520	Approaching the first bend HOMEBUSH GINGER was crowded when racing between OPAWA CUDDLES which shifted out and DISTASTEFUL which shifted in. Shortly after DISTASTEFUL shifted inward abruptly checking HOMEBUSH GINGER and contacting the hindquarters of OPAWA CUDDLES. BOTANY SEL and DISTASTEFUL were checked entering the back straight when OPAWA CUDDLES which was racing to the outside shifted in. As a result BOTANY SEL and DISTASTEFUL lost several lengths and never recovered from there on. The connections of DISTASTEFUL requested that the greyhound be examined by the Veterinarian which revealed a cut webbing.
Race 8	WANGANUI CHRONICLE C1 - C1 - 305	BELLE CADEAU was slow to begin and shortly after angled outward making its run wide throughout. WORKING WORKING was crowded for a short distance along the back straight when CAWBOURNE BEAU shifted inwards. Rounding the bend, CAWBOURNE BEAU clipped the heel of MADAM ICE when racing in tight quarters losing several lengths and effectively all chance.
Race 9	CROMBIE LOCKWOOD (NZ) LTD C1 - C1 - 305	DODGY POCKETS and HILL OF GRACE were slow into stride. SYDENHAM OPAL shifted out rounding the bend checking MISS ALLEGRO which lost ground and all chance. FIVE KAY LEG which was trailing had to shift outward abruptly to avoid the heels of MISS ALLEGRO and as a result OPALESCENT was hampered.
Race 10	KEENAN CONCRETE C1 - C1 - 520	CAWBOURNE LOGAN was slow to begin. GUCCI RUSH and ANOTHER HUNTER bumped on several occasions over the early stages.
Race 11	CHRISTMAS AT THE RACES 5TH,12TH 19TH DECEMBER - C1 - 305	SHE SAID MAYBE was slow to begin (3L). OPEHU FLYER shifted in abruptly from the boxes forcing KIRIBATI GIRL into the line of RIBA LORDA and MISS SOFTY, with all three runners being bumped heavily. Rounding the bend, HERMIONE BAXTER which raced wide angled in crowding MISSY SLOY for a short distance. MISS SOFTY was checked rounding the bend when racing between MISSY SLOY and SHE SAID MAYBE which shifted out off the heels of OPEHU FLYER.
Race 12	BOOK YOUR FUNCTION @ HATRICK C2 - C2 - 305	HANNIBAL LECTER shifted in approaching the bend placing MISS COOL and SENORITA CHANG in restricted room. HANNIBAL LECTER continued its inward movement checking SENORITA CHANG shortly after. Inconvenienced as a result was the trailing HOMEBUSH VERONA.
Race 13	Non Tote Sprint - Tier 2q - 305 Heat 1	VINNIE BAXTER and LEMON FISH were slow to begin. Into the bend, HOMEBUSH SARAH shifted in forcing OPEHU TIGER into the line of SMASH MAGIC which was checked. SMASH MAGIC was then further hampered when LEMON FISH which was trailing improved up onto the heels of SMASH MAGIC.
Race 14	Non Tote Sprint - Tier 2 - 305	MADDIE BRAND was a late scratching after being found to have a thigh muscle injury when being presented to the Veterinarian for kenneling. BOOT THE CASH and FANTA'S FEVER came together and bumped on several occasions along the back straight. BOOT THE CASH ran wide rounding the bend.
