| Race 1 | Awapuni Stakes C0 - C0 - 457 | GUMMY GUMPSTA was slow to begin losing three lengths. TROJAN TROY, WHERE'S SHIRAZ and TE MAARI STYLE bumped together soon after the start. ICAHN shifted out going to the first corner forcing GUMMY GUMPSTA wide on the track. TE MAARI STYLE then shifted out going into the bend and forced ICAHN and GUMMY GUMPSTA even wider on the track over extra ground and they finiished in the rear group. |
| Race 2 | Woodville Dash C0 - C0 - 375 | CAWBOURNE MALKY and VENGA GUAPA were slow to begin losing a length. VENGA GUAPA was tightened and checked between LITTLE PROPHET and DOGGED DENNIS going into the bend and lost three lengths and all chance. |
| Race 3 | J P Print, Petone C1 - C1 - 375 | DOGGED DAN shifted in going into the bend and caused checks to JOHNNY ANGEL and FANTA'S FEVER and they lost several lengths and AOKAUTERE was also involved and he fell and took no further part in the race. SUPER ZIP ZIP was also affected in the incident. AOKAUTERE was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have pectoral muscle pain. |
| Race 4 | Peter Sinclair Photo Finish C1 - C1 - 375 | HILL OF GRACE, RIJEKA, FREEDOM FLYER and CHELSEA'S BEAUTY bumped together soon after the start and lost momentum for a short distance. MISSY SLOY shifted in going into the bend and caused checks to FREEDOM FLYER and ELLO ELLE which both became unbalanced and lost ground. ELLO ELLE in particular appeared to have an awkward action following the incident and drifted back to finish several lengths last and was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have pectoral muscle pain. |
| Race 5 | Manawatu Raceway C1 Final - C1f - 457 | The favourite JACKANATOR was slow to begin from box 8, losing three lengths but she quickly shifted down to the rail and made up ground well to finish in 2nd place. BEHEMOTH shifted out to race wide going to the first corner which cost him some ground but then shifted back in and finished quite well for 5th place. AMY WINEGLASS shifted out going into the bend and forced BOSTON MONA and GOLD STONE to race wide over extra ground and they finished in the last three places. |
| Race 6 | Marton Dash C2 - C2 - 375 | COOL HEIR was the slowest to begin but made up ground well to win the race. DAISY'S BOI shifted in going to the first corner and forced BOOMERANG MAN in onto FIRE BOY BAXTER and WALDO BAXTER and they were checked back to the rear. DAISY'S BOI continued to shift in and BOOMERANG MAN was eventually checked on the bend and lost three lengths. |
| Race 7 | www.racingdogs.co.nz C1 - C1 - 457 | LOCHINVAR ROSSI shifted in abruptly from the start and caused checks to SHINY UPSOME and CAWBOURNE PUMPER and they were checked back to the rear. CAWBOURNE PUMPER drifted off the back of the field and finished several lengths last and was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have injured a toe joint. |
| Race 8 | Ashurst Stakes C5 - C5 - 457 | MAGIC BOLT and BIGTIME DASHER were the slowest to begin and settled back. MAGIC BOLT was held up behind FASTBACK KING going to the first corner and angled out to clear running but then had to check again to avoid the heels of GRADUATION and lost further ground. BIGTIME DASHER shifted out from the start and BIGTIME JET shifted in and they collided, became unbalanced and lost ground. |

| Race 10 | Shannon Dash C5 - C5 - 375 | BEE RABBIT shifted in going into the bend and dictated RED MOOVA HOOVA in which resulted in checks to that runner and also BLUE AND CURLY and BOLT RAMA which suffered the most and he went back to the rear. COSMIC FURY shifted in across the line of ENHANCER which clipped the heels and almost fell on the bend and he stayed back to finish at the rear. |
| Race 11 | Foxton Stakes C 1/2 - C1/2 - 457 | JUST MAC jumped from the boxes on terms with the other runners but drifted off the back of the field soon after and appeared to be uncomfortable in his galloping action and finished a distance behind the 6th placed runner. INTO THE FRAY went off stride going into the first corner and she also drifted out to finish a distant last. JUST MAC and INTO THE FRAY were both referred to the Vet for assessment and JUST MAC was found to have a gracilus muscle injury and INTO THE FRAY was found to have tricep muscle pain. |
| Race 12 | Steve Davis Auctioneers C3/4 - C3/4 - 457 | ALAMEIN JAH was the slowest to begin losing three lengths but he recovered well to finish in 2nd place. CAWBOURNE TIP and THRILLING AVA bumped together going to the first corner and THRILLING AVA was unbalanced and lost three lengths and she never recovered from the check. |
