Judicial report: GIN SLING (A Botherway) failed to pursue the lure in Race 3 and was stood down for 28 days under Rule 80.1.b. and must complete a Satisfactory Trial. GOLDSTAR FRANKIE (S&B Evans) must complete a Satisfactory Trial after Stewards deemed that her performance in Race 5 was unsatisfactory. BIG JOHN CANON (M Dempsey) marred another runner for a second time within 10 starts and was stood down for 3 months and must complete a Satisfactory Trial. Following Race 12 handler M Lin was questioned by Stewards in regards to his conduct behind the boxes at dispatch. He explained that one of the lids had opened slightly and he was attempting to close it. Mr Lin was reminded that once the dogs have been placed in the starting boxes handlers should remain well clear of them. Mr Lin was severely reprimanded and informed that a repeat of these actions in the future will result in a charge being laid.

Race 1	Super Pets Sprint - C0 - 295	OHOKA FAITH (7) was a clear last on jumping. HOMEBUSH TED (4) and ALL ABOUT JAZZ (5) came together for a stride on dispatch. Into the bend HOMEBUSH TED and GOLDSTAR DEEJAY (6) were both tightened losing ground. On the home turn HOMEBUSH TED checked outwards off the heels of GOLDSTAR DEEJAY as that runner crossed to the rail with OHOKA FAITH being badly checked as a result. The winner NEDDY SEAGOON (8) tied up badly after the race but recovered quickly with no stand down being considered necessary.
Race 2	Miller Bar & Cafe Dash - C0 - 295	ARCHIE'S PLAN (3) was very slow to jump. BITA BANTA (1) angled outwards in the back straight tightening KNOW KNOWING (2) and HOMEBUSH ERROL (4) who lost ground. Soon after BOTANY WIN (5) ran inwards badly checking HOMEBUSH ERROL, KNOW KNOWING and BITA BANTA who had their chances extinguished at this stage. ARCHIES'S PLAN was also hampered in behind these runners.
Race 3	Thursday Place Pick Dash - C0 - 295	SONNY WILL (4) was last to jump. GIGANAIRE (6) ran outwards in the early stages terminally checking OUR BLONDIE (7) who lost her footing and her chance. GIN SLING (8) then ran inwards checking GIGANAIRE. OHOKA JOKA (2) was held up into the bend and ran outwards to find clear racing room. GIN SLING angled outwards on the home turn contacting the hind quarters of INSPECTOR SPOT (1) who shortened stride and lost ground. GIN SLING then eased short of the line when free of interference. Stewards requested post race veterinary checks of OUR BLONDIE, INSPECTOR SPOT and GIN SLING. No injury was detected for GIN SLING with Stewards declaring that this runner be stood down for 28 days under Rule 80.1.b. for failing to pursue the lure with a Satisfactory Trial also having to be completed.
Race 4	Glenbyre Tavern Maiden Heat 1 - C0q - 520 Heat 1	CAWBOURNE MIAMI (8) was last to jump. CAWBOURNE MIAMI received a slight check into the first bend and lost momentum as OPAWA VIV (4) ran outwards and clipped her heels with LADY MUI (7) being forced wide around that bend. On the home turn PEPPERMINT PATTY (3) ran very wide when towards the rear.
Race 5	Bill's Bar & Bistro Sprint - C0 - 295	MARLENE'S TERRA (2) and HOMEBUSH MISHA (3) were the last pair on jumping. GOLDSTAR FRANKIE (1) drifted into the bend as KNOW LAUGHING (6) ran past her. PASS WITH CARE (5) was checked when avoiding the weakening GOLDSTAR FRANKIE. GOLDSTAR FRANKIE was assessed by the vet post race and found to be free of injury. Stewards considered that the run of GOLDSTAR FRANKIE was unsatisfactory and after considering submissions from co-trainer S Evans the dog was ordered to complete a Satisfactory Trial under Rule 81.
Race 6	Glenbyre Tavern Maiden Heat 2 - C0q - 520 Heat 2	WEARS THE GOLD (2) ducked outwards on dispatch checking OHOKA TOO SOON (3), BIG JOHN CANON (4) and CAWBOURNE MUSCLE (5). WEARS THE GOLD angled outwards on the first bend pushing JINJA COOKIE (8) wider on the track. On the first bend BIG JOHN CANON ran outwards and marred the running of BOTANY JOHN (1) on two occasions with this runner and JINJA COOKIE both being hampered. WEARS THE GOLD was tightened at the end of the back straight and lost ground. On the home turn BOTANY JOHN checked off the heels of CAWBOURNE MUSCLE and ran outwards losing ground. Stewards determined that BIG JOHN CANON had breached Rule 80.1.a. when marring another runner and as this was the dog's second indiscretion it was stood down for 3 months and must complete a satisfactory trial.
Race 7	Garden City Chem-Dry Dash - C2 - 295	JOHN DORY (2) and OPAWA HOG (6) were the last pair on settling. BATIATUS (5) drifted out in the back straight and finished a distant last with this dog being referred to the vet for assessment.
Race 8	Chris & Lisa Earl Sprint - C2 - 295	In the early stages OPAWA RUFUS (5) ran inwards as EDITORIAL (3) angled outwards resulting in HOMEBUSH TIARA (4) being relegated to the rear. EDITORIAL continued to run outwards in the back straight checking CAMRAY (7) who lost ground.
Race 9	Shirley Vet Clinic Stakes - C2 - 520	MR. BARRY (8) was last to jump. KNOW DANGER (1) shifted outwards in the initial stages checking BLUSHING BELLE (2) for a stride. KNOW SECURITY (3) ran outwards a touch into the first bend causing a slight check to AIR FLOW (4) who lost a length with MR. BARRY being forced over extra ground. BLUSHING BELLE ran wide around the first bend.
Race 10	Amber Cleaning Services Dash - C2 - 295	This race was delayed by 2 minutes at the request of Raceday Control. MY FOOLISH HEART (4) ran inwards on dispatch and came together with RULE JUDGE JUDY (3) with MY FOOLISH HEART dropping to the rear. AVEC LAMOUR (7) ran inwards in the back straight causing tightening to a number of runners with RULE JUDGE JUDY and BE PREPARED (5) the worst affected. OPAWA LUCKY (6) was obliged to race wide on the bend.
Race 11	Angler's Arms Tavern Distance Feature - C0d - 645	The kennelmates GOLDSTAR JUNIOR (3) and CLARETOWN LEROY (4) were the last pair on jumping. BOTANY COMET (1) received some tightening into the first bend and lost ground. OPAWA JEAN (2) was checked on the first bend as RUNAWAY TAXI (7) angled down to the rail with OPAWA JEAN then contacting GOLDSTAR JUNIOR for a stride. BRIGHTON BULLET (5) was tightened and ran outwards with a lap to run.
Race 12	Speight's Sprint - C3 - 295	OPAWA COLIN (5) and NO LEAF CLOVER (6) were tightened into the bend and lost ground. BLUE GALE RISE (2) ran outwards into the bend checking BILLY MUGGINS (7) for a stride. On the home turn BLUE GALE RISE, MULBERRY BROOK (3) and OPAWA COLIN all came together when racing in midfield.
