Judicial report: Popular Turakina Trainer Bruce Goodwin passed away overnight and as a result there were a number of Greyhounds from his kennels late scratched.

Race 1	ABSOLUTELY ELECTRICAL C0 HT1 - C0q - 305 Heat 1	HOMEBUSH MINX was very slow to begin losing four lengths and she stayed back throughout the race. JUST LIKE MOON shifted in from the start and hampered LITTLE PROPHET for some distance until LITTLE PROPHET eventually checked losing three lengths. The winner MANU RAMA shifted in and hampered the 2nd equal placed runner VICARIOUSLY for a stride in the home straight.
Race 2	J P PRINT PETONE C0 HT2 - C0q - 305 Heat 2	ADDIS MATE began very awkwardly losing several lengths and all chance. HOMEBUSH SPIKE shifted out from the start and hampered FOXIARNA and HOMEBUSH PIPPI for a short distance. HOMEBUSH PIPPI then shifted in and crowded HOMEBUSH SPIKE and LUM JUM going into the bend and they lost two lengths.
Race 3	WWW.WANGANUIGREYHOUNDS.CO.NZ C0 HT3 - C0q - 305 Heat 3	PINETREE BLUE, BOTANY RICHIE and GOODTIME HELEN jostled together for a short distance soon after the start. BUZZY AS and FORTIS MEMORIES also came together and bumped soon after the start. PINETREE BLUE shifted in going into the bend and caused a check to itself and also FORTIS MEMORIES which fell and BUZZY AS. PINETREE BLUE and BUZZY AS never recovered from the incident and finished in the rear group. FORTIS MEMORIES was referred to the Vet for assessment and cleared of injury.
Race 4	HARRISON HIRE MASTER C0 HT4 - C0q - 305 Heat 4	All clear.
Race 5	WANGANUI SECURITY C0 - C0 - 520	TRENDY BOY, ALAMEIN BEE DEE, TE MAARI STYLE and BOTANY LIZ bumper together soon after the start and lost momentum. BOTANY LIZ shifted in going into the first bend and checked TE MAARI STYLE which then shifted out to race wide into the bend and lost four lengths.
Race 6	THE ROCK 95.2FM C1 - C1 - 305	LOCHINVAR MAUI and DODGY POCKETS were the slowest to begin but they recovered well to make up ground and finish in 1st and 3rd places. OPALESCENT shifted out going into the bend and checked HAIR HE IS which blundered and almost fell and he stayed back to finish near the rear. OPALESCENT continued to shift out and raced wide covering extra ground on the bend and into the straight.
Race 7	WANGANUI PUNTER OF THE YEAR 15TH AUGUST C1 - C1 - 305	COSMIC SALLY, MISS ALLEGRO, GOOGLE IT and LEMON FISH were all slow to begin losing three lengths and they stayed back to finish in the last four places.
Race 8	WANGANUI CHRONICLE C1 - C1 - 520	All clear.
Race 9	CROMBIE LOCKWOOD (NZ) LTD C1 - C1 - 305	GROOVY LEO was very slow to begin losing three lengths and he tailed the field throughout the race. HILL OF GRACE and BELLE CADEAU began awkwardly and they both lost two lengths.
Race 10	KEENAN CONCRETE C1 - C1 - 520	LOCHINVAR ROSSI and OPAWA JEN bumped together soon after the start and OPAWA JEN settled back. ALLEGRO MAX and SARAH CAMPBELL brushed together going into the first bend and SARAH CAMPBELL became unbalanced and went back to the rear.
Race 11	CHRISTMAS AT THE RACES 5TH,12TH,19TH DECEMBER C1 - C1 - 305	RUNS FOR GAS became awkwardly placed going into the bend and was checked losing three lengths. EXCESSIVE SPEED was one of the slowest to begin from an outside box but after switching down to the rail, he recieved a clear run through to finish in 2nd place.
Race 12	RACES @ WANGANUI JOCKEY CLUB 3RD JULY C1 - C1 - 305	VINNIE BAXTER and WORKING JEWEL became awkwardly positioned between runners soon after the start and settled back. WITCH MISTY shifted out soon after the start and bumped with CAWBOURNE BEAU for a couple of strides and she continued to shift out going to the first corner and jostled with GOMAN NINNIE and they both became unbalanced and lost three lengths.
