Health and Safety comment:

Judicial report: Due to a fault with the lure ,Stewards after consultation with Raceday Control, delayed the race meeting by one race to enable all equipment to be repaired and thoroughly tested. M Robinson admitted a breach of Rule 69.11 in that he presented CAR BOOTLE to race 1.7kg lighter than at its previous start being fined $100.00 as per the minor infringement table.
Stewards concluded their investigation into the presentation and late scratching of CONALOO (Race 12) 27/6/14 Trainer M Robinson was reprimanded and reminded of his obligations to keep Stewards informed at all times.Stewards concluded an inquiry into the non presentation of papers for JIBBAJABBA JEWEL (C Roberts) Stewards found no fault could be proportioned to Mr Roberts due to circumstances outside his control. Licenced Person K O,CONNOR defended a breach of Rule 88.1.y in that she failed to comply with the Dress Code with the matter to be adjudicated by the JCA.

Race 1 Shirley Vet Clinic Sprint Heat 1 - C1q - 295 Heat 1 GOLDSTAR BRIDIE (1) shifted out on jumping and made firm contact with SLINGO (3) . Into the turn TRUMPED UP (8) became unbalanced when bumped from the inside, also hampered were HOMEBUSH HAVEN (4) and HOORAY FOR HAZEL (6).Into the straight HOMEBUSH HAVEN shifted out and made contact with TRUMPED UP. Throughout the straight GOLDSTAR BRIDIE shifted wider and forced SMASH EASY (7) over extra ground .
Race 2 Shirley Vet Clinic Sprint Heat 2 - C1q - 295 Heat 2 Shortly after the start ABOUT TOWN (6) shifted inwards and hampered ARCHIE'S TIME (5) which was unbalanced losing momentum and ground. Into the first turn OPAWA LAZ (7) shifted in towards the running line and tightened RED EYE MAX (4) resulting in both ANOTHER FANTASY (1) and HOMEBUSH CRUDEN (2) being checked and losing all chance.
Race 3 Shirley Vet Clinic Sprint Heat 3 - C1q - 295 Heat 3 QUATTRO (4) was slow through the initial stages. Rounding the bend SMASH ROSIE (5) shifted wider and inconvenienced ZULU DEB (6) momentarily.
Race 4 Shirley Vet Clinic Sprint Heat 4 - C1q - 295 Heat 4 CELOSIA (9) was slow to begin .TAI BAXTER (5) shifted inwards on jumping and made firm contact with SLEEPER AGENT (3) resulting in both runners being unbalanced. Into the first turn HOMEBUSH BRUNO (6) was checked when tight between BLAZING HOT (4) and WANDY FEATHER (8) also hampered was WAXEY'S BIG KID (7).Into the straight BLAZING HOT shifted wider and made contact with MIGHTY TWIST (1) forcing that runner over extra ground. WANDY FEATHER shifted inwards turning for home and made firm contact with the hindquarters of SLEEPER AGENT which was turned sideways and badly unbalanced.SLEEPER AGENT then ran outwards making contact with MIGHTY TWIST . Shortly before the finishing line WANDY FEATHER was contacted from behind by CELOSIA losing momentum quickly.
Race 5 Speight's Stakes - C1 - 520 ARCHIE'S COMET (7) and TODDY'S A FLYER (6) were slow to begin . FLYING AMELIA (4) began awkwardly. Into the back straight TRUE BLUE STYLE (5) was hampered an lost ground when contacted from behind by FLYING AMELIA . FLYING AMELIA blundered and lost all chance as a result.
Race 6 Shirley Vet Clinic Sprint Heat 5 - C1q - 295 Heat 5 CAR BOOTLE (1) was slow through the initial stages. Into the first bend HOME TRUTH (5) and ECKLES (6) were checked and lost ground when tightened between SMOKEN MARLEY (3) and HAREEBA TIME (8) . Into the straight HAREEBA TIME and HOME TRUTH made firm contact and jostled for a distance.
Race 7 Garden City Chem-Dry Stakes - C1 - 520 SPEIGHT'S KID (2) was hampered shortly after the start and got back as a result . Into the first turn VOUSSOIR (1) and COME ON DOLLY (3) both had to shift off the heels of CHLOE'S PRODIGY (4) when that runner improved to the lead. Rounding the turn OPAWA PEARL (8) shifted in towards the running line and made firm contact with COME ON DOLLY which lost ground also hampering SPEIGHT'S KID.
Race 8 Super Pets Sprint - C0 - 295 HOMEBUSH MISHA (5) was squeezed between runners at the start and got back as a result . Rounding the bend EFFIE AWARDS (2) shifted outwards across the heels of HOMEBUSH TED (3) making contact with HOMEBUSH MISHA which was unbalanced as a result.
Race 9 Coalgate Tavern Stakes - C1 - 520 FLIP FLIPPA (8) was slow to begin . GIRL MAGIC (5) jostled with WAGON WHEEL (4) shortly after the start. At the end of the back straight SCOTSOME POWER (6) was unbalanced and lost ground when tight to the inside of FLIP FLIPPA and then WAGON WHEEL .
Race 10 Shirley Vet Clinic Sprint Heat 6 - C1q - 295 Heat 6 MOMMA RAE (5) shifted in abruptly on jumping and made firm contact with MOP HEAD (3). MOMMA RAE continued on an inward movement and contacted the heels of BOTANY ZENVO (1) which was hampered as a result. Rounding the turn ABOVE ALL (8) improved quickly to the inside of BOTANY ZENVO shifting outwards and falling when awkwardly placed in restricted room resulting in HOMEBUSH SAXON (6) being badly unbalanced and losing all chance.A post race veterinary inspection of ABOVE ALL revealed no obvious abnormalities. MOMMA RAE which appeared lame after the race was sent to the veterinarian for inspection where it was found to free of injury.
Race 11 Shirley Vet Clinic Sprint Heat 7 - C1q - 295 Heat 7 NEW YORK AFFAIR (7) was hampered early . LOLA BAXTER (5) was checked into the first bend when awkwardly placed behind runners. Rounding the bend STARBURST HANNAH (1) was hampered when contacted from behind by NOT SO CUTE (3) .
Race 12 Shirley Vet Clinic Sprint Heat 8 - C1q - 295 Heat 8 .TONY'S CHOICE (4) and LAREDO (8) were slow to begin. Rounding the bend LAREDO was checked when tightened between BIZZARO (5) and TONY'S CHOICE.
