Judicial report: Trainer M Olden admitted a breach of Rule 80.1(b) in that BIG FAT GYPSY failed to pursue the lure throughout and has been stood-down for 28 days with a satisfactory trial required prior to the greyhound racing again.

Race 1	Absolutely Electrical C0 - C0 - 305	SHEZA HUM DINGA jumped away awkwardly and lost ground (4L). DARK WITCH shifted in and contacted the hindquarters of HOMEBUSH NINJA resulting in this greyhound being turned outward momentarily. BOTANY RICHIE shifted in abruptly from the boxes making firm contact with LENNY MAC. TASHA RAMA was inclined to shifted ground out along the back straight placing LENNY MAC in restricted room. TASHA RAMA continued to shift outward entering the first bend becoming awkwardly placing on the heels of LENNY MAC which was hampered and lost momentum. LENNY MAC improved up onto the heels of HOMEBUSH NINJA entering the home straight and shifted in bumping with SHEZA HUM DINGA.
Race 2	J P Print Petone C0 - C0 - 305	HOMEBUSH SPIKE shifted out abruptly from the boxes inconveniencing TAGENT. Shortly after TAGENT shifted in abruptly checking VISION AND POWER which lost ground. TAGENT continued to shifted ground inward and misjudged the bend making contact with the steriline running rail. TAGENT was referred to the Veterinarian and was cleared of injury. ALAMEIN BLONDE angled out rounding the bend becoming awkwardly placed on the heels of HOMEBUSH CELIA which was unbalanced for a short distance. Hampered as a result was DARK FAERYTALES and VISION AND POWER. Rounding the bend, VISION AND POWER improved up onto the heels of HOMEBUSH CELIA and shifted out abruptly forcing DARK FAERYTALES wider.
Race 3	Wanganuigreyhounds.co.nz C0 - C0 - 305	IT'S A DREAM, TROJAN TROY and DOGGED DENIS were crowded leaving the boxes between BIG FAT GYPSY which shifted in and VICARIOUSLY which shifted out. After receiving a bumped from MINAJ RAMA, GOODTIME MIKE shifted out when becoming awkwardly placed on heels, resulting in the following runners being checked; VICARIOUSLY, TROJAN TROY, IT'S A DREAM and HOMEBUSH ERROL. Rounding the bend when clear of the field and free of interference, BIG FAT GYPSY eased and went back into the main body of the field. BIG FAT GYPSY was referred to the Veterinarian and was cleared of injury. Trainer M Olden admitted a breach of Rule 80.1(b) in that BIG FAT GYPSY failed to pursue the lure throughout and has been stood-down for 28 days with a satisfactory trial required prior to the greyhound racing again. MINAJ RAMA was referred to the Veterinarian was found to have a fractured right toe.
Race 4	Harrison Hire Master C0 - C0 - 520	HOMEBUSH GINGER shifted out along the straight on the first occasion placing LITTLE PROPHET, ALAMEIN BEE DEE, WEEPU, BIGTIME KAZ and BIG JOB JONESY all in restricted room for some distance. LITTLE PROPHET was crowded rounding the first bend between BOTANY SEL and BIG JOB JONESY which shifted in marginally.
Race 5	Wanganui Security C1 - C1 - 305	FLAYOSC was slow to begin. CAWBOURNE BEAU shifted in abruptly at the start crowding MISS ALLEGRO in onto WORKING JEWEL. CAWBOURNE BEAU continued to shift in hampering MISS ALLEGRO for some distance. MISS ALLEGRO lost ground during the incident and was unable to recover from there onwards. WORKING JEWEL raced in restricted room into the bend when between FLAYOSC and CAWBOURNE BEAU. SHEZA FOOLING ran wide rounding the bend forcing SCARILICIOUS over extra ground.
Race 6	The Rock 95.2FM C1 - C1 - 305	The start of this race was delayed 2 minutes at the request of TAB control. MADDIE BRAND was slow to begin. GOOGLE IT, HANNIBAL LECTER and ROSA GALLICA were all crowded at the start between SYDENHAM OPAL which shifted out abruptly and OPAWA ROMEO which shifted in. WITCH MISTY and DISTASTEFUL bumped on several occasions along the back straight and shortly after DISTASTEFUL shifted out resulting in SYDENHAM OPAL clipping that runners heel. SYDENHAM OPAL then shifted out resulting in GOOGLE IT, ROSA GALLICA and MADDIE BRAND all being forced over extra ground.
Race 7	Racingdogs.co.nz C1 - C1 - 305	KIRIBATI GIRL was crowded leaving the boxes between JOHNNY ANGEL and OPEHU FLYER which shifted in abruptly. OPEHU FLYER continued to shift ground inward placing KIRIBATI GIRL, RAVEON and ROCK ON SPRITE in restricted room. ROCK ON SPRITE then became awkwardly placed on the heels of OPEHU FLYER and shifted out inconveniencing KIRIBATI GIRL.
Race 8	Wanganui Chronicle C1 - C1 - 520	Racing into the first bend, CAWBOURNE CRAZY shifted out dictating GUCCI RUSH into the line of JINJA PAT which clipped that runners heels and stumbled. JINJA PAT then shifted out and hampered KING'S SELECTION and MONKEY QUEEN which was forced over extra ground. JINJA PAT was referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury.
Race 9	Keenan Concrete C1 - C1 - 520	THRILLING DYLAN and COMEGETME both shifted ground abruptly at the start and made heavy contact. LOO LOO BLUE shifted in abruptly shortly after the start. SECONDS GOOD angled wider along the straight on the first occasion hampering BEHEMOTH, THRILLING DYLAN and SUNDAY DRIVER which became awkwardly placed on heels.
Race 10	Crombie Lockwood Distance Feature - C0d - 645	ALPINADOR was slow to begin. GRADUATION, HEAR HARE HERE and THRILLING AVA jostled for a short distance over the early stages. ZAMADDIS LASS was obliged to make its run wide along the straight on the first occasion. The connections of ALPINADOR requested that the greyhound be examined by the Veterinarian which revealed a torn right toe. Following the race, Stewards spoke with lure drive M Beeson regarding the distance of the lure rounding the final bend and after reviewing video coverage were satisfied that no dog had been inconvenienced.
Race 11	Wanganui Punter of the Year - 15 August C1 - C1 - 305	Approaching the bend OPALESCENT shifted out off the heels of CHARLIE'S PAL into the line of AMELIORATE, APPLAUSE and JAGER who were all hampered, losing their momentum.
Race 12	Christmas at the Races 5,12 & 19 December C1 - C1 - 305	MADAM ICE angled inward approaching the bend placing CALAMITY SUE and COSMIC RASCAL in tight quarters for a short distance.
Race 13	Non Tote Sprint - Tier 2 - 305	GOMAN NINNIE weighed in 3 kilograms heavier from it's previous start on 5th May 2014. Trainer C Brider advised that this increase in weight was intentional. WHERE'S RICAN shifted in from the boxes crowding GOMAN NINNIE, HOMEBUSH ANABEL and MISS SARA. BOOT THE CASH raced wide throughout. SUB SILENTIO and WHERE'S RICAN bumped approaching the bend and shortly after SUB SILENTIO ran wide forcing WHERE"S RICAN over extra ground. Following the race, the connections of MISS SARA requested that the greyhound be examined by the Veterinarian and was found to have a cut to the right elbow.
