Judicial report: Trainer AC Roberts suffered a mechanical breakdown while transporting dogs trained by himself and D Stapleton to the races. Replacement transport was organised for Mr. Stapleton's team and Mr. Roberts early runners LITTLE BRITTY and CHLOE'S PRODIGY. Mr. Roberts was unable to transport his remaining team CAWBOURNE BOMBER, JIBBAJABBA JEWEL, ON THE LEVEL and ROQETTE and they were all declared late scratching's at 11.45am.

Race 1	SOUTHLAND & OTAGO PHOTO FINISH - C0 - 390	HOMEBUSH HAPPY and TONY'S CHOICE were both slow to begin. AGITATED shifted inwards at the jump checking JOYNER KERSEE. Over the early stages OZARKS DAUGHTER shifted outwards dictating CELTIC HOUND wider on the track. Rounding the bend JOYNER KERSEE and AGITATED bumped on several occasions.
Race 2	SGRC $50 LEATHER LEADS - C1 - 390	HARPIC and BLAZING HOT made contact on several occasions racing into the bend. CAWBOURNE IMPACT and LINCOLN FLYER both ran wide on the bend prior to straightening for the run home.
Race 3	SOUTHLAND WINTER STAKES - C1 - 390	TOKEN RAY jumped awkwardly and was slow to begin as a result. CAWBOURNE STATE, who was vying for the lead over the early stages, eased appreciably and finished a distant last placing. NOT SO CUTE and MILLIE'S BOY bumped on numerous occasions in the run to the bend. SAILORS COLLAR was placed in restricted room when racing between BLUE HOBO and ADMIRAL ADAM on the bend. MILLIE'S BOY was galloped on from NOT SO CUTE shortly before the home straight. SAILORS COLLAR raced wide on the bend dictating ADMIRAL ADAM over extra ground. The Stewards requested a post race veterinary examination of CAWBOURNE STATE which revealed CAWBOURNE STATE had suffered a left hind gracilis muscle injury with a 28 day stand down recommended.
Race 4	ORETI BEACH SPRINT - C1 - 390	ROCKWOOD ARCHIE and CHARLES FREDERICK made contact at the jump. Shortly after the start THRILLING JAMES shifted inwards tightening BUSINESS BOSS, CHARLES FREDERICK and ROCKWOOD ARCHIE . ROCKWOOD ARCHIE then struck the hind quarters of LITTLE BITTY. OCHE was placed in restricted room on the bend when racing on the inside of ROCKWOOD ARCHIE and then shortly afterwards LITTLE BITTY came together with OCHE losing its momentum. When questioned regarding the performance of OCHE trainer D Stapleton advised that OCHE had been trialling well in the lead up to the races and he was disappointed with its effort. He advised it was his intention to spell OCHE and have a follow up veterinary examination. Mr. Stapleton advised he would report any findings to the Stewards. LITTLE BITTY which had pulled up lame following this race was referred to the veterinarian for further assessment.
Race 5	ADDED ENERGY STAKES - C0 - 457	SACAJAWEA was slow to jump. OPAWA JACKIE shifted inwards at the start making contact with HAMMOCK.
Race 6	BRENDON BURKE@FIRST NATIONAL - C1/2 - 457	On the bend WUNZEE which was leading was galloped on from behind by the trailing SOUMILLION. As a result WUNZEE had its back legs taken out and lost all momentum. SOUMILLION then checked outwards off WUNZEE forcing MR NOVEMBER wider on the track. The Stewards requested a post race veterinary examination of WUNZEE which revealed no abnormalities.
Race 7	ASCOT PARK HOTEL - C1/2 - 390	ANOTHER ANOTHER was tightening racing into the bend when racing between SAM'S FLYIN NORM and YALDHURST EDWARD. LA FONTAINE was checked from behind by YALDHURST EDWARD on the bend. STOCK TAKER was checked on the bend when making contact with ANOTHER ANOTHER. YALDHURST EDWARD shifted inwards on the bend checking LA FONTAINE which lost all its momentum.
Race 8	HAPPY BIRTHDAY FRASER LAMB - C2 - 390	ANOTHER COVER, JOHN DORY and SHEZ KEEN all come together shortly after the start resulting in JOHN DORY losing ground. SHEZ KEEN shifted off the heels of NO MORE BEERSIES on the bend resulting in SHEZ KEEN losing ground. ANOTHER COVER was shifted outwards just prior to the home straight when JOHN DORY improved on its inside.
Race 9	SGRC $26 FIVE WIRE MUZZLE STAKES - C3/4 - 457	HOMEBUSH VIOLET shifted inwards after the start making contact with DOLEUZE on its inside. As a result DOLEUZE made contact with MY SQUIZZY and OPAWA BOMB with MY SQUIZZY losing ground.
Race 10	WWW.GREYHOUNDSASPETS.ORG.NZ - C3/4 - 390	SOME SAY, TEPIRITA CHARGER, WHITEY'S GONE and RATTLE YA DAGS all come together shortly after the jump. WHITEY'S GONE checked off the heels of HOMEBUSH KELSO on the bend losing ground.
Race 11	www.southlandgreyhounds.co.nz - C3/4 - 390	GRUNT RODGERS shifted ground inwards sharply at the start bumping with OPAWA LEGS. OPAWA LEGS and BELLWAVE both ran wide on the entrance to the home straight.
Race 12	justracing.com.au - C5 - 390	Racing into the bend OPULENT shifted inwards onto BAD WEEK which in turn checked PUNCH ON JAMIE. Shortly after straightening for the run home ANOTHER JEWEL checked off the heels of OPULENT.
