MONTY DOSH (5) and PEARL TIARA (8) made brief contact entering the first bend with PEARL TIARA momentarily unbalanced. |
| Race 2 | Jack's Wholesale Meats Stakes - C0 - 527 | JETSUN RAIN (9) and BELLA FORZA (7) were last to leave the boxes. JETSUN RAIN shifted out abruptly after leaving the boxes making solid contact with BELLA FORZA who was unbalanced and lost considerable ground. JETSUN RAIN shifted out across the heels of MYSTIK NITE (8) entering the first bend to race very wide losing ground as a result. |
| Race 3 | Sel's TAB Mangere Series Heat 1 - C1q - 318 Heat 1 | KNOCKA SLOY (5) was slow away settling several lengths from the body of the field. HASHTAG JOSH (3) checked off the heels of FORTIS FLIER (4) and shifted out, soon after leaving the boxes. FORTIS FLIER then shifted in racing down the back straight hampering GO DOLPHIN POWER (2) and HAT TRICK CHAOS (1) who both became unbalanced losing ground. LOLA'S QUEST (6) and ROTOVEGAS SPARKY (7) came together rounding the bend with LOLA'S QUEST losing ground. As a result FORTIS FLIER and JELLY GEM (8), who were trailing, shifted out with JELLY GEM then making contact with the hindquarters of HASHTAG JOSH who was unbalanced losing ground. HASHTAG JOSH then made contact with KNOCKA SLOY (5) both runners momentarily unbalanced. HASHTAG JOSH shifted in rounding the final bend inconveniencing HAT TRICK CHAOS who had to shift out across this runners heels. |
| Race 4 | Stitches Upholstery Stakes - C3 - 527 | ZAMDATO (3) was slow away. NIGHT PEARL (9) and THIS TIME PEDRO (8) came together soon after leaving the boxes. Entering the first turn DIVA RHODE (4) made contact with the hindquarters of SWEET RUBYJANE (5) who was momentarily unbalanced. Racing into the back straight JETSUN QUAKER (2) checked off the heels of INDI RHODE (1) with NIGHT PEARL then checking off the heels of JETSUN QUAKER. |

MOULIN BLUE then became unbalanced after making contact with FEEL THE VIBE racing toward the first turn. |

HIGH CALIBRE (5) then shifted in hampering ACAPELLA who made further contact with FORTIS LION. Contributing was inward movement from MAJOR TOM (6) who was angling in in front of these runners. Entering the first turn MAJOR TOM shifted in into the line of STILL DON'T KNOW (2) who was checked. STILL DON'T KNOW then shifted out making solid contact with ACAPELLA who was unbalanced shifting out getting on the heels of HIGH CALIBRE with STILL DON'T KNOW and ACAPELLA losing considerable ground as a result. Also inconvenienced was VERSATILE RICHIE (7). STILL DON'T KNOW shifted out rounding the final bend dictating ACAPELLA wider on the track. |

Racing into the first turn, when in restricted room to the inside of COLD TURKEY (8), BUBLIN GOLD (3) and MAGIC FANCY (7) came together with MAGIC FANCY then shifting out making brief contact with COLD TURKEY losing ground. YOU'RE LUCKY then shifted out across the heels of MAGIC FANCY making contact with TINA'S DILEMA who was taken wider on the track. Rounding the final bend TINA'S DILEMA was inconvenienced when making contact with the hindquarters of JINJA JAM (2) who shifted out. |
| Race 8 | Reel-Fishin.com Stakes - C1 - 527 | RADLEE REASON (1) and COMEGETME (7) were slow away. ON THE HOUSE (5) was hampered soon after the start when HAIR HE IS (8) shifted in and MR. DARCI (2) shifted out. ON THE HOUSE then made contact with the hindquarters of MR. DARCI who was unbalanced for several strides. ON THE HOUSE then shifted in making solid contact with OPAWA MARG who was unbalanced losing ground. Also inconvenienced as a result of this was CAWBOURNE PENNY (3) who was racing to the inside of OPAWA MARG. Entering the first turn ON THE HOUSE shifted out abruptly across the heels of HAIR HE IS and COSMIC WARRA (6) hampering COMEGETME who was unbalanced losing ground then further inconvenienced when RADLEE REASON shifted out contacting this runner. CAWBOURNE PENNY shifted in making brief contact with COSMIC WARRA entering the final straight. When questioned regarding the weight decrease of OPAWA MARG, who presented 1.8kgs less than her previous start on June 3rd, new trainer B Bond advised this was an intentional weight loss and it would be his intention to maintain this lighter weight for future starts. |
| Race 9 | Auckland Derby Heat 1 - R/Aq - 527 Heat 1 | GOOD RETURN (4) and TIFINO (3) made contact soon after leaving the boxes and jostled for several strides. Rounding the first bend CHECK THE MAIL (2) shifted out across the heels of TIFINO making solid contact with PREMIER OSTI (5) with both runners unbalanced losing ground. GAINSFORD (1) and GOOD RETURN made contact rounding the final bend. THRILLING CARTER (7) was referred to the vet for assessment following this race and cleared of any injuries. |

ZIPPIT SWEETIE then continued to give ground for the remainder of the race finishing several lengths last. ZIPPIT SWEETIE was referred to the vet for assessment which revealed a minor laceration to the left hind calf with no stand down required. |
