Race 1	Super Pets Sprint - C3 - 295	The favourite BUSINESS AFFAIR (6) was badly tightened in between WONKEY DONKEY (5) and MARBELLA (7) in the initial stages and dropped to the rear. Closer in RUN FOR SOPHIE (2) ran outwards and came together with HOMEBUSH KELSO (4) and MARBELLA with RUN FOR SOPHIE being turned sideways for a stride and losing ground. In behind WONKEY DONKEY was held up as RUN FOR SOPHIE dropped back through the field. RUN FOR SOPHIE then ran outwards on the home turn causing inconvenience to OPAWA IDOL (8) for a few strides.
Race 2	Opawa Bowl & Jack Tavern Dash - C4 - 295	OPAWA LEAN MEAT (1) and SOME SAY (8) were the last pair from the jump. WEE TERRA (2), MOTLEY MAN (3) and BOTANY JESSIE (4) all raced in confined quarters and jostled into the bend with this trio all losing momentum. OPAWA LEAN MEAT was also inconvenienced when attempting to improve to their inside. Following the race MOTLEY MAN was referred to the vet for assessment.
Race 3	Thursday Place Pick Dash - C3 - 295	MILDRED LILLIAN (6) was a clear last at the jump. PLAGIARISM (5) ran inwards checking HOMEBUSH CRAIG (4) in the early stages with HOMEBUSH CRAIG dropping to the rear. Into the bend kennelmates WELLYWOOD (3) and SHEZA GAMBLE (2) were both tightened as PLAGIARISM continued his quest for the rail. Wider out MILDRED LILLIAN was held up when commencing to improve and lost her momentum.
Race 4	Shirley Vet Clinic Sprint - C4 - 295	FLY CANARY FLY (3) and BOTANY DAVE (6) were the last pair on jumping. FLY CANARY FLY then checked off heels into the bend and lost momentum. TEPIRITA CHARGER (2) ran outwards on the bend pushing STARBURST TERRY (4) and SWIP AND TEAR (7) wider on the track with STAR DREAMER (5) being inconvenienced wider out.
Race 5	I Pave Concrete Sprint - C5 - 295	KNOW JEALOUSY (2) was slow to jump. MER DE NOMS (5) and SOPHIE'S TERRA (4) came together on several occasions in the back straight. BUTTERBEAN (3) was tightened into the bend with IONA HAKA (7) hampered as a result losing momentum. BUTTERBEAN was checked on the home turn as SMASH RUMOUR (8) shifted inwards.
Race 6	Flair Stakes - C3 - 520	JIBBAJABBA JEWEL (2), AMBILIGHT (3) and CAWBOURNE POLLY (4) were the last trio at the jump. AMBILIGHT then raced in restricted room into the back straight losing momentum. JIBBAJABBA JEWEL was forced to race wide in the back straight. OPAWA STELLA (1) was tightened out of the back straight and dropped to the rear.
Race 7	Kolorful Kanvas Sprint - C5 - 295	KERAMUS (8) was a clear last at the jump. CAWBOURNE QUEEN (1) attempted to get to the outside all the way down the back straight with ANOTHER JEWEL (3) receiving a check and losing ground as a result. CAWBOURNE QUEEN was then dragged down and dropped to the rear when contacted from behind. KERAMUS was checked into the bend when improving sharply losing momentum.
Race 8	Happy Birthday Murray Wigley Stakes - C4 - 520	OPAWA RAPID (4), OPAWA BOMB (6) and OPAWA ZARA (8) were the last trio from the traps. OPAWA CASPER (1) was tightened and checked into the first bend losing ground and hampering OPAWA BOMB in the process. BRIGHTON BULLET (5) checked outwards off the hindquarters of an improving OPAWA ZARA on the first turn pushing OPAWA RAPID wider on the track.
Race 9	The Turf Bar Dash - C5 - 295	KNOW LIES (7) was a clear last on jumping. DILLMANSTOWN (2) came together with CAWBOURNE JELLY (3) in the early stages and lost ground. MORE BETTER (4) shortened stride in the back straight and tailed the field home with this dog being referred to the vet for assessment. ANGEL NOIR (6) was tightened between runners on the home turn and lost ground.
Race 10	David Emerson Consultancy Stakes - C5 - 520	HOMEBUSH CHOPPER (5) ran inwards as usual in the early stages causing CAWBOURNE ABBI (4) and OPAWA STRETCH (2) to be placed in restricted room along the inside. JINJARANGO (7) was badly dragged down on the first bend when striding into the race and lost ground dropping to the rear. OPAWA STRETCH and OPAWA NO EAR (8) were both inconvenienced in this incident with KNOW ATTEMPT (1) being forced wide.
Race 11	Carol's T.A.B. Dash - C5 - 295	KNOW FAULT (2) was a shade slow to jump. Into the bend SPRINKLES (6) ran inwards as WILL EXCITE (1) ran outwards resulting in KNOW FAULT and LIFE'S A LAUGH (4) being badly tightened and the quartet all losing their chances. LIFE'S A LAUGH was then badly dragged down from behind by KNOW FAULT with this pair dropping right away. LIFE'S A LAUGH was referred to the vet for assessment.
Race 12	Speight's Sprint - C4 - 295	RITE ROUND RANGE (6) was checked in the early stages and lost ground. PRINCELY DOLLAR (3) was tightened into the bend and lost ground.
