Track: Good The track was well presented and with all equipment operating well, the meeting proceeded smoothly.

Judicial report: SARAH'S DOMAIN an entrant in race 3 was stood down for 28 days for a breach of Rule 80.1 b for failing to pursue the lure throughout and is required to complete a satisfactory trial before next starting in a totalisator race.

Race 1	Absolutely Electrical C1 - C1 - 305	MADAM ICE, SNOW DEMON and HOMEBUSH TOKI jostled together for a short distance soon after the start and lost ground. SMART COOKIE and WORKING JEWEL bumped going into the first corner but recovered quickly. SNOW DEMON checked over the heels of HOMEBUSH TOKI going into the bend and lost several lengths and soon after, MADAM ICE checked off the back of WORKING JEWEL and shifted out making contact with HERMIONE BAXTER and they lost ground. HOMEBUSH TOKI was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have a radius and ulna injury.
Race 2	J P PRINT (PETONE) C2 - C2 - 305	ALAMEIN DUKE shifted in going into the bend and crowded WORKING WORKING for a short distance until she was eventually checked back to last. SHOWEM BABY checked off the heels of KIM DOTCOM going into the bend and shifted out onto SNAPCHAT which was checked and she went back to last and stayed there to finish in that position.
Race 3	PALAMOUNTAINS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITION C1/2 - C1/2 - 520	SWEET RUBYJANE shifted in going into the first corner and checked MY LIL LUCIFER which went back onto ALAMEIN KAT and they both fell. A few strides further on, SWEET RUBYJANE clipped the heels of the leader SARAH'S DOMAIN which which faltered for a stride and eased back through the field. ALAMEIN KAT which had regained her feet and chased the field, collided with SARAH'S DOMAIN on the final bend and again fell. ALAMEIN KAT, MY LIL LUCIFER and SARAH'S DOMAIN eventually finished sometime after the other runners and were referred to the Vet for assessment. SARAH'S DOMAIN was cleared of injury and was subsequently charged with failing to pursue the lure throughout with the kennel representative admitting the breach of Rule 80.1 b and SARAH'S DOMAIN is also required to complete a satisfactory trial before next racing. ALAMEIN KAT was found to have quadricep muscle pain and MY LIL LUCIFER suffered a spike wound and tricep muscle pain.
Race 4	WWW.WANGANUIGREYHOUNDS.CO.NZ C3 - C3 - 305	PLAN YOUR MOVE was slow to begin losing two lengths but recovered very well to win the race. JILL SPRITE shifted in going into the bend and crowded LEGEND BEE which then galloped on the back of JILL SPRITE. JILL SPRITE was checked as a result and went back onto LEGEND BEE and HEY YOU and all three runners lost several lengths and they finished at the rear.
Race 5	Wanganui Security C1/2 - C1/2 - 520	ALPINADOR shifted in from the start and had to check off the back of I'M A CATCH and lost ground. One of the favourites DIPSY LALA was handy enough in 3rd place in the back straight but then began to drift through the field and finished several lengths last and was referred to the Vet for assessment. DIPSY LALA was found to have pectoral and quadricep muscle pain.
Race 6	THE ROCK 95.2FM C3 - C3 - 305	COSMIC CHOICE and FIGLIA were slow to begin losing two lengths. HOMEBUSH LIMBO checked off the back of SHE'S TOP NOTCH going into the bend and shifted out causing checks to SUMMER TENSION, CRYSTAL WAVE and FIGLIA. SUMMER TENSION fell in the incident and was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to be lame in a foreleg with carpus pain. FIGLIA and HOMEBUSH LIMBO were severely checked and lost several lengths.
Race 7	CROMBIE LOCKWOOD(NZ) LTD C3/4 - C3/4 - 305	CAWBOURNE RAVE and SHEIK EM UP began awkwardly and settled back.
Race 8	WANGANUI CHRONICLE C4/5 - C4/5 - 520	REALLY CLEVER shifted in going into the first bend and crowded PUNCH ON JAIME which was checked losing four lengths. BARRY'S WAY shifted in going into the basck straight and PUNCH ON JAIME was again checked and she went back to the rear and never recovered.
Race 9	HARRISON HIRE MASTER C3/4 - C3/4 - 305	CAWBOURNE BANKSY began awkwardly losing several lengths and he tailed the field throughout the race. DOWN THE BACK, SWAPAN and LOST IN LIGHT jostled together for some distance going to the first corner and SWAPAN and LOST IN LIGHT eventually became unbalanced and lost two lengths.
Race 10	NZ Breeders Stakes Final Gp 1 R/A - R/Af - 520	OPAWA ZARA shifted in going into the first bend and tightened CHECK THE MAIL, KATCHA FIRE and AMBILIGHT and they lost several lengths and all chance and they stayed back to finish in the last three places.
Race 11	WWW.RACINGDOGS.CO.NZ C5 - C5 - 305	OPAWA WALLY began awkwardly losing two lengths. BEE RABBIT and VICKI'S QUEST came together and bumped losing two lengths going into the bend and OPAWA WALLY shifted out to avoid those runners which forced MISS MCFLY very wide into the bend and she lost several lengths.
Race 12	BOOK YOUR FUNCTION @ HATRICK C5 - C5 - 305	SUPER ROOSTER shifted in going to the first corner and this resulted in checks to himself and also SIR RICHIE and HOMEBUSH CRASH and they settled back in the field and stayed there until the finish. LEADFOOT LENNY raced in the leading division until going into the bend where he began to drift and he also went wide on the bend and into the straight and finished several lengths last. LEADFOOT LENNY had an awkward galloping action and he was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have a gracilus muscle injury.
