| Race 1 | Awapuni Stakes C0 - C0 - 457 | ALLEGRO MAX and BIG JOB JONESY were slow to begin and settled back. ALLEGRO MAX then improved but raced wide on the bend covering extra ground. AUCKLAND VENDING checked over the heels of BOSTON LASS on the home turn and shifted out making contact with ALLEGRO MAX and they lost momentum for a couple of strides. |
| Race 2 | Woodville Dash C0 - C0 - 375 | The favourite HANNIBAL LECTER was one of the slowest to begin and he then checked off the heels of DARK FAERYTALES going to the first corner and lost momentum. NIKKA CENTURY checked over the heels of DARK FAERYTALES approaching the home turn and shifted out abruptly making firm contact with HANNIBAL LECTER and they both checked losing ground and finished at the rear. |
| Race 3 | Manawatu Raceway C1 - C1 - 375 | SHEZA FOOLING and LITTLE ARTHUR jostled together for a short distance going to the first corner and they both lost ground with SHEZA FOOLING the most affected and she lost three lengths. LITTLE ARTHUR was checked on the bend and went back to last and stayed there to finish in that position. |
| Race 4 | J P Print, Petone C1 - C1 - 375 | KING'S SELECTION shifted away from the rail going into the first corner and BOOMERANG MAN shifted in which resulted in tightening to COYOTE CAUGHT YA which dropped back and was galloped on by MACGYVER RAMA and lost several lengths and all chance. |
| Race 5 | Peter Sinclair Photo Finish C1 - C1 - 457 | ADDA BOY ZEKE and DODGY POCKETS were slow to begin and settled back. ADDA BOY ZEKE recovered well to make up ground and win the race. AMY WINEGLASS raced very wide on the bend covering extra ground. CAWBOURNE ARIES galloped on the heels of SEMANTICS going into the bend and they both lost ground as a result. |
| Race 6 | Marton Dash C2 - C2 - 375 | PLAN YOUR MOVE was slow to begin losing two lengths but recovered quickly. FLYING BLAKE and GAY THORLEY bumped together on jumping from the boxes and they lost three lengthjs and stayed back throughout to finish at the rear. |
| Race 7 | www.racingdogs.co.nz C3 - C3 - 375 | FIGLIA shifted out abruptly soon after the start and forced VARGA FROST into the line of NOT BAD which was pushed onto COSMIC CHOICE and was checked losing four lengths and all chance and she stayed back to finish in 2nd last place. |
| Race 8 | Ashhurst Dash C5 - C5 - 375 | WINNING KNOCKA was awkwardly placed adjacent to the rail going to the first corner when outside runners shifted in and WINNING KNOCKA was shuffled back to the rear. WINNING KNOCKA was then inconvenienced on the bend when racing onto the heels of ATE PIZZA and he loost ground and stayed back to finish last. WISE CRACK LAD checked off the back of ZIPPING TAY going into the bend and then ran wide over extra ground. |
| Race 9 | Cloverlea Dash C4 Heat 1 - C4q - 375 Heat 1 | REBEL CITY shifted out from the start and caused checks to BEE RABBIT and OPAWA GEM which lost a little momentum. General tightening going into the first corner resulted in several runners being checked with CAESAR CHANCE, OPAWA TOKEN and GIBBONATOR the most affected and they finished in the rear group. |
| Race 10 | Shannon Dash C4 Heat 2 - C4q - 375 Heat 2 | OPAWA JAY began very awkwardly losing several lengths and all chance and finished in last place. STIFF DRINK shifted in going to the first corner and crowded SUPERIOR IZMIR for a short distance until he was eventually checked and went back to 2nd last where he stayed until the finish. |
| Race 11 | Feilding Stakes C4/5 - C4/5 - 457 | BIGTIME DASHER began awkwardly losing two lengths. MERCENARY shifted in going into the bend and forced OSTAPCHUK in across the heels of EL JETTA and OSTAPCHUK clipped heels, dipped and lost four lengths and he never recovered. |
| Race 12 | Foxton Stakes C1 - C1 - 457 | SECONDS GOOD was slow to begin and then shifted out abruptly clipping the heels of CONTEMPERANEOUS and losing further ground. SHINY UPSOME shifted out going into the bend and clipped the heels of TEPIRITA HENDRIX and lost two lengths. |
