Track: Good The track was well presented and with all equipment working well, the meeting proceeded smoothly and concluded on time.

Judicial report: DUTCHESS QUEEN, a runner in Race 1 was stood down for 28 days under Rule 80.1 b when found to have breached the rule when failing to pursue the lure throughout and is required to complete a satisfactory trial before next racing.

Race 1	ABSOLUTELY ELECTRICAL C1 - C1 - 520	RADICAL RUFUS began awkwardly losing ground and settled back. DUTCHESS QUEEN began well and was in the leading group going to the first turn but was then observed to ease and went back to be several lengths last. She then began to race again and made up ground to finish in 7th place and was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have fan muscle pain requiring a 5 day stand down. However, she was subsequently stood down for 28 days under Rule 80.1 b for failing to pursue the lure throughout and is required to complete a satisfactory trial before next racing.
Race 2	WWW.WANGANUIGREYHOUNDS.CO.NZ C2 - C2 - 305	OPAWA GIFT changed ground soon after the start and shifted out across the heels of GOODTIME KATE and checked losing three lengths. GOODTIME KATE shifted in going into the bend and caused checks to GIRL PRIDE and WORKING WORKING which both lost three lengths and all chance of a first four placing.
Race 3	J P PRINT(PETONE) C2 - C2 - 520	LOO LOO BLUE shifted in from the start and caused tightening and checks to THRILLING AVA, OPAWA JEN and RUTH'S RAIDER and they lost ground and settled back. RUTH'S RAIDER checked over the heels of DARBY LANE going into the first bend and lost three lengths but made up ground well for 4th place.
Race 4	PALAMOUNTAINS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITION C2/3 - C2/3 - 305	CRYSTAL WAVE began awkwardly losing three lengths but made up ground well to finish in 2nd place. ANOTHER PIZZA was jostled between runners going to the first corner and lost ground. She then continued to drift off the back of the field and finished several lengths last and was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have a gracilus muscle injury. FIGLIA shifted in going into the bend and caused tightening and checks to HILTON FRIDAY and HEY YOU and they lost several lengths and all chance.
Race 5	WWW.RACINGDOGS.CO.NZ C2/3 - C2/3 - 305	NO MORE LAUGHTER shifted in from the start and caused crowding to COSMIC CHOICE, KINETIC NEO and TIME'S UP and NOT BAD on the inside was also affected when resisting the pressure from the outside and they lost ground and settled back.
Race 6	WANGANUI SECURITY C2/3 - C2/3 - 305	ANOTHER COLT was slow to begin losing three lengths but he ran on well to finish in 3rd place. MATILDA'S BABE and FANTA'S FEVER bumped together for a short distance going to the first corner and FANTA'S FEVER lost two lengths.
Race 7	KEENAN CONCRETE C4/5 - C4/5 - 520	MAMMY BROWN was awkwardly placed in restricted room between PHONE TAP and WALLACE LAD going to the first turn and lost ground. MAMMY BROWN was then forced wide going into the bend when bumped by PHONE TAP and she stayed back for the remainder of the race to finish in 6th place.
Race 8	GARY ROSS DECORATOR C4 - C4 - 305	SWEET LIES began awkwardly and settled back and then raced wide over extra ground and finished in last place.
Race 9	THE ROCK 95.2FM C4 - C4 - 305	All clear.
Race 10	Advanced Racing Series Final - NZRSf - 520	WHAT'S UP GEE shifted in going into the first bend and caused checks to RENE RANGER and BLITZING MAYHEM and they lost ground and went back to near the rear. RENE RANGER went off stride in the back straight and drifted back to finish a long last and was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have a tricep muscle injury.
Race 11	CROMBIE LOCKWOOD (NZ) LTD C5 - C5 - 305	EXPONENTIAL LILY, UNO ORANGE and ISABELLE DOMAIN were the slowest to begin and they settled back and stayed there throughout to finish in the last three places.
Race 12	BOOK YOUR FUNCTION @ HATRICK C5 - C5 - 305	OPAWA SISTER was a little slow to begin losing two lengths. DOLLY PEG checked off the heels of BEE RABBIT going into the bend and soon after, BEE RABBIT checked off the heels of BOLT RAMA as that runner came back through the field after being checked when POPSOME TAGS went past on the outside.
