| Race 1 | Super Pets Sprint - C0 - 295 | OHOKA JOKA (4) and WAXEYE'S BIG KID (8) were slow to jump. HURRICANE SANDY (2) lost ground in the early stages when checked by HOMEBUSH HAPPY (3) who shifted down the track. OHOKA JOKA ran sharply outwards in the early stages checking WAXEYE'S BIG KID. |
| Race 2 | Hampden Tavern Sprint - C0 - 295 | BOTANY LIZ (8) was very slow to jump with TONY'S CHOICE (6) also missing the jump by three lengths. TONY'S CHOICE ran wide on the home turn. Stewards withheld authorisation of placings until satisfied that the slow start of BOTANY LIZ was of her own accord. |
| Race 3 | Kolorful Kanvas Dash - C0 - 295 | HOMEBUSH LUCIFER (1) came up with the lids and settled a distant last. Stewards reviewed the start and confirmed that the dog was slow of his own accord. KNOW MAGIC (4) received a nasty check on the turn when racing to the outside of SMASH ROSIE (3) as AXEL FOLEY (7) was improving between runners. |
| Race 4 | Ritchies Coachlines Dash - C0 - 295 | KNOW MAYHEM (5) was last on jumping. HOMEBUSH MISHA (7) ran outwards in the back straight hindering HOMEBUSH JAGGER (8) for a few strides. Into the bend KNOW MAYHEM ran inwards when improving checking HE'S A JESSIE (3) who lost ground. HE'S A JESSIE then improved outwards inconveniencing HOMEBUSH JAGGER for a stride. ENFORCED KIWI (4) and EYES ON LULU (6) came together for a stride on the home turn. HOMEBUSH MISHA was forced to cover extra ground on the home turn. |
| Race 5 | Shirley Vet Clinic Stakes - C0 - 520 | OPAWA MICHELLE (6) was dragged down by OPAWA VIV (5) into the first bend. As a result OPAWA VIV lost ground and OPAWA MICHELLE, BOTANY CHRIS (8) and HOMEBUSH GINGER (7) were all forced wide settling well back. KNOW SMIGGLE (3) and DEE (4) collided on the first bend. OPAWA MICHELLE was held up on the home turn. |
| Race 6 | Active Electrical Christchurch Dash - C2 - 295 | MR. BIG STUFF (7) was late scratched after found to have pain in its tail when being brought out for the race. RATTLE YA DAGS (2) was last on settling after running inwards and contacting the hindquarters of BE PREPARED (1). BROKEN PEDRO (5) was tightened in the early stages and dropped to the rear. BROKEN PEDRO was then denied room into the bend and lost momentum. |
| Race 7 | Islington Tavern Stakes - C0 - 520 | FLYING AMELIA (5) and BLACK DUDE (8) were the last pair on jumping. OPAWA ROB (6) and BIG JOHN CANON (4) came together for a stride in the early stages. At the end of the back straight BIG JOHN CANON contacted the hindquarters of SPIDER GIRL (1) who fell with BIG JOHN CANON and BLACK DUDE losing ground. SPIDER GIRL was assessed by the vet who found no injury. |
| Race 8 | Chris & Lisa Earl Distance Feature - C0d - 645 | TORERO (3), WANDY ON IN (4) and OPAWA HALLY (7) were tightened in the run to the first bend settling well back. TORERO was checked with a lap to run when contacting WANDY ON IN and lost ground. |
| Race 9 | Garrard's Horse & Hound Dash - C2 - 295 | BUSINESS PLAN (2), NO LEAF CLOVER (7) and BIG MUDDY (8) were the last trio on settling. BUSINESS PLAN was tightened into bend and lost ground. VALLDEMOSSA (3) was badly checked into the bend and dropped to the rear. |
| Race 10 | Johnny Midnight At Stud Stakes - C2 - 520 | MR. JOHNNY (2) and CAWBOURNE CRUZE (3) were the last pair on jumping. OHOKA FRENCHI (6) was checked into the first bend and lost ground with CAWBOURNE CRUZE being forced wide around this runner when attempting to improve. MR. JOHNNY was held up for clear room at the end of the back straight. |
| Race 11 | Dave Robbie Photographer Dash - C2 - 295 | EDITORIAL (2), RED HOT FURY (5) and ANOTHER COVER (8) were the slowest from the traps. GYPSY HUNTER (7) crossed sharply down the track in the early stages causing checks to RED HOT FURY, GLENN IS GOODSEY (4), EDITORIAL and MARMALADE SKIES (1) who all lost ground. On the bend MARMALADE SKIES checked outwards off GLENN IS GOODSEY with EDITORIAL and RED HOT FURY colliding wider out as a result. MARMALADE SKIES ran outwards checking RED HOT FURY on the home turn. |
| Race 12 | Speight's Sprint - C2 - 295 | HOME TRUTH (4) and LA FONTAINE (6) were the last pair to jump. TURBO TUNDRA (1) and RULE JUDGE JUDY (10) were tightened into the bend and lost ground. HOME TRUTH was forced wide when improving on the home turn. |
