Judicial report: ASPRO ANNIE (D Barnes), which was stood down for a satisfactory trial on Tuesday, was subsequently found to have a torn gracilis muscle with Mr Barnes advising that the bitch will be spelled. The need for a trial has been rescinded with Mr Barnes informing Stewards of her progress and trial times before resuming. Trainers A McCook and J Jopson were fined $100 00 as per the Minor Infringements Table after admitting a breach of Rule 69.11 when BIGTIME KELINA was presented 2.1 kgs under her last race weight on 1 May. Trainer C Roberts was fined $50.00 as per the Minor Infringements Table after admitting a breach of Rule 71.4 when failing to arrange a catcher for CAWBOURNE WAR at the conclusion of Race 10.

Race 1	Super Pets Sprint - C3 - 295	BOTANY DAVE (8) weighed in 3.2 kgs under his last race weight on 3 March with this being an intended decrease. This race was delayed by one minute at the request of Raceday Control. BATIATUS (6) ran inwards in the back straight firstly causing a minor check to JACK'S A JEWEL (5) and then seriously tightening IRISH BLUE (4), WAIMAK DAVE (3) and BILLY MUGGINS (1). WAIMAK DAVE lost some ground and BILLY MUGGINS hit the rail and dropped out with this dog being referred to the vet for assessment. RITE ROUND RANGE shifted outwards marginally on the home turn pushing JACK'S A JEWEL wider for a stride.
Race 2	Hurunui Hotel Dash - C4 - 295	TEAM DREAM (7) and WILL EXCITE (8) brushed together for a stride in the early stages. NOBLE FANTASY (5) angled inwards into the bend causing tightening to WANDY LUCK (4), PICK THE TIP (2) and PRINCELY DOLLAR (1) who all lost ground. TEAM DREAM was badly checked in behind these runners and lost his chance. On the home turn PICK THE TIP ran inwards checking WANDY LUCK.
Race 3	Thursday Place Pick Sprint - C3 - 295	MAKER'S LABEL (5) ran inwards checking MILDRED LILLIAN (4) and WEE TERRA (3) in the initial stages. Into the bend THANKS CHARLIE (6) ran outwards checking CEC DIVINE (7) who dropped to the rear. CEC DIVINE was then checked when attempting a marginal gap to the inside of ANOTHER ANOTHER (2) losing momentum. On the home turn HOMEBUSH CRAIG (8) was checked from behind by MILDRED LILLIAN with HOMEBUSH CRAIG losing a length and his momentum. HOMEBUSH CRAIG was referred to the vet for assessment.
Race 4	Kolorful Kanvas Sprint - C5 - 295	OPAWA RAPID (1) and DRYSDALE (6) were the tailenders on settling. DRYSDALE checked off heels into the bend and lost ground.
Race 5	Happy 21st Tinder Tommo Dash - C5 - 295	PEARL'S BOY (2) shifted outwards into the bend checking ANGEL NOIR (3) and OSCAR TUIVASA (4) who both lost ground. On the home turn PEARL'S BOY again angled outwards with ANGEL NOIR receiving another check and dropping to the rear.
Race 6	racingdogs.co.nz Stakes - C3 - 520	EVEN SEVEN (6) was last on settling. FEAR GO (4) was tightened into the first bend as EVEN SEVEN ran inwards. JIBBAJABBA JEWEL (9) ran outwards into the first bend checking CAWBOURNE POLLY (3). JIBBAJABBA JEWEL then ran wide around that bend losing ground. Closer in OPAWA STYLE (7) came together with BIGTIME KELINA (1) and lost ground. At the end of the back straight RAMBUNCTIOUS (8) brushed with GRUNT RODGERS (2) and lost momentum. Following the race OPAWA STYLE was referred to the vet for assessment.
Race 7	Bill's Bar & Bistro Distance - C2d - 645	CHILL OUT RALPH (2) and OPAWA TANIA (7) were the last pair on jumping. COURT THE BELLE (6) lost ground into the first bend causing inconvenience to BLUSHING BELLE (1) and CHILL OUT RALPH who were forced to avoid this runner. CHILL OUT RALPH raced wide around the bends.
Race 8	The Miller Bar & Cafe Stakes - C3 - 520	GEE CEE BEE (6) was last to jump. In the home straight KNOW SECURITY (3) received a slight check as CAWBOURNE FLOYD (5) angled outwards marginally with PINDARI (7) being hampered for a stride. The strapping on OPAWA STELLA (8) came off just short of the finishing line but flew clear of other dogs with no runner being inconvenienced. The on-course vet was reminded of her obligations when placing strapping on dogs pre-race.
Race 9	I Pave Concrete Stakes - C4 - 520	TRAVELLING JOE (5) and KNOW CHAOS (6) were the last pair on jumping. OPAWA ZARA (4) received a slight check on the first bend and ran inwards coming together with TRAVELLING JOE. TAKE A TRICK (9) was tightened and held up on the first bend.
Race 10	Fairdinkum Sheds Stakes - C5 - 520	BOTANY KEVIN (1), MAGIC EMILY (2) and KNOW ATTEMPT (9) were all tardy from the traps. CAWBOURNE PHILIP (5) was tightened into the first bend and lost ground. At the end of the back straight CAWBOURNE WAR (8) was tightened and lost ground as KNOW ATTEMPT improved around him and angled inwards.
Race 11	C.T.V. Dash - C5 - 295	CAWBOURNE TOMCAT (1) and KNOW JEALOUSY (2) were the last pair on jumping. CRACKING CHAIN (6) and BUTTERBEAN (5) collided in the initial stages with CRACKING CHAIN dropping to the rear. CAWBOURNE TOMCAT was tightened into the bend and lost ground. KNOW JEALOUSY was held up for room on the home turn losing momentum.
Race 12	Speight's Sprint - C4 - 295	SWIP AND TEAR (2) was last to jump. SPRINKLES (6) ran inwards into the bend tightening NOT A KNOW (3) who lost ground. On the home turn KNOW PRIDE (5) checked outwards off the heels of FIREMAN'S LEGACY (1) and collided with BOTANY JESSIE (7) and MER DE NOMS (8) who both lost ground.
