| Race 1 | Awapuni Dash C0 - C0 - 375 | ROSA GALLICA was checked when HOMEBUSH CELIA shifted in from the start and she settled back with CAWBOURNE MALKY which was slow to begin. ADDIS MATE was checked ground going to the first corner when clipped from behind by CUTS DEEP. A short distance further on CUTS DEEP galloped on the heels of HOMEBUSH CELIA which lost three lengths. AUCKLAND VENDING shifted in approaching the home turn and checked NIKKA CENTURY which shifted out abruptly forcing ELEPHANT TRUNK and CAWBOURNE MALKY wide on the track. AUCKLAND VENDING also lost ground in the incident. CAWBOURNE MALKY then shifted back in and AUCKLAND VENDING shifted out which resulted in ROSA GALLICA being hampered. |
| Race 2 | Woodville Dash C1 - C1 - 375 | BEHEMOTH was slow to begin and settled back. WALDO BAXTER shifted in going into the first corner and checked CHELSEA'S BEAUTY which went back and out onto MISS SARA. ASHER and BEHEMOTH jostled together for several strides going into the bend and shifted out to make contact with MISS SARA which was checked losing three lengths and she never recovered finishing in last place and was referred to the Vet for assessment. MISS SARA was found to have pain in a pad corn. |
| Race 3 | Manawatu Raceway C1 - C1 - 375 | UNIQUE TILLY was slow to begin losing four lengths. TOXIC REVENGE shifted out and BOOMERANG MAN shifted in going into the bend and this resulted in BOOT THE CASH and ROCK ON SPRITE being severely checked and losing several llengths and all chance. UNIQUE TILLY and COYOTE CAUGHT YA were both checked in the incident and lost ground with UNIQUE TILLY the most affected. |
| Race 4 | J P Print, Petone C1 - C1 - 457 | SPOT ON MAGGIE and JINJA PAT jostled together for some distance on the bend and SPOT ON MAGGIE was eventually checked losing three lengths. |
| Race 5 | Peter Sinclair Photo Finish C2 - C2 - 375 | WILD AS ANGELS was the slowest to begin but recovered well to win the race. WILDAS ANGELS shifted in going to the first corner and hampered HOMEBUSH ANABEL which lost two lengths and he shifted in again and checked PENO BOY on the bend. PENO BOY was handy enough on the bend but drifted out to finish in last place and was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have gracilus muscle pain. |
| Race 6 | Marton Stakes C2 - C2 - 457 | The race was all clear. MICK MANIA was referred to the Vet for assessment at the Trainers request and found to have a toe injury. |
| Race 7 | www.racingdogs.co.nz C3 - C3 - 375 | UNO FLASH and ANOTHER COLT jostled together for some distance going to the first corner with both losing ground and they never recovered and finished at the rear. |
| Race 8 | Ashhurst Dash C4 - C4 - 375 | SHAGA BANGA BANG shifted in going to the first corner and checked TALK IT OVER which lost three lengths and he stayed back at the rear until the finish. FIERCE STAR became awkwardly positioned in restricted room behind STIFF DRINK and EMBEE DEE going into the bend and was held up for some distance and finished in 2nd last place. |
| Race 9 | Cloverlea Stakes C4/5 - C4/5 - 457 | BIGTIME JET shifted in from the start and bumped WALLACE LAD which was pushed in off its line of running. BIGTIME JET then raced onto the heels of CHECK THE MAIL and fell. COLD TURKEY and MAMMY BROWN jostled together for some distance going to the first corner and they were then checked losing ground when tightened between CHECK THE MAIL and WALLACE LAD going into the bend. Soon after, COLD TURKEY checked off the heels of MAMMY BROWN and lost further ground. BIGTIME JET was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have pectoral muscle pain. |
| Race 10 | Shannon Dash C5 - C5 - 375 | CHARMING NEV shifted out from the start and caused jostling to MERCENARY and COSMIC FURY for some distance and they eventually checked losing ground. Soon after starting on the bend, COSMIC FURY shifted in and checked MERCENARY which lost three lengths and tailed the field from there to the finish. |
| Race 11 | Feilding Stakes C3 Final - C3f - 457 | CRUSHED MONKEY, NOT BAD and NONU NONU BOOM jostled together and bacame unbalanced losing ground going into the bend. MISS ISABELLA appeared to have an awkward galloping action rounding the bend and lost ground and she was subsequently referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have tensor fascia lata muscle pain. BACKYARD BULLY was also referred to the Vet at the Trainers request and found to have a spike wound and pad abrasions. |
| Race 12 | Foxton Stakes C4 Final - C4f - 457 | The favourite THRILLING ZOOM was very slow to begin losing several lengths but he made up ground well for 2nd place. |
