| Race 1 | ABSOLUTELY ELECTRICAL C1 - C1 - 305 | FIRE BOY BAXTER and AOKAUTERE shifted in going into the bend and this resulted in DODGY POCKETS and EXCESSIVE SPEED being tightened and checked and they lost three lengths and they stayed back to finish at the rear. AOKAUTERE shifted in to the rail on the bend and checked HERMIONE BAXTER which lost three lengths. |
| Race 2 | WWW.WANGANUIGREYHOUNDS.CO.NZ C1/2 - C1/2 - 305 | OPAWA GIFT and SHEZA FOOLING began awkwardly and settled back. RIJEKA and ALL THE MILK jostled together for a short distance going to the first turn and RIJEKA was checked losing ground and she then clipped the heels of ALL THE MILK and they both lost three lengths. Soon after, ALL THE MILK and RAVEON bumped together and became unbalanced for a short distance. The winner COSMIC CHOICE shifted in down the home straight and OPAWA GIFT had to change ground and go to the outside of COSMIC CHOICE and finished in 2nd place. |
| Race 3 | J P PRINT PETONE C2 - C2 - 520 | PSEUDONYM and ALPINADOR were slow to begin losing three lengths. PSEUDONYM appeared to have an awkward galloping action and drifted further behind during the running to finish several lengths last and was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have Triangle muscle pain. I'M A CATCH checked off the heels of THRILLING AVA going into the first bend and shifted out hampering ALPINADOR which was forced wide over extra ground. |
| Race 4 | PALAMOUNTAINS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITION C1/2 - C1/2 - 305 | KEZZ and MISSY SLOY were the slowest to begin and they stayed back throughout to finsh at the rear. FLYING BLAKE raced in restricted room between GOODTIME KATE and FIGLIA going into the bend and he lost two lengths. THUNDER TIME race very wide over extra ground on the bend and into the straight. |
| Race 5 | WWW.RACINGDOGS.CO.NZ C3 - C3 - 305 | UNO FLASH began awkwardly and settled back and he was crowded on the bend when DEATHSTAR shifted in and he then shifted out to race wide into the straight and finished in 2nd last place. DEATHSTAR was galloped on by UNO FLASH in the incident and also lost ground. ODE TO LIBERTY became awkwardly positioned on the rail going into the first corner, was shuffled back to be two lengths last and stayed there to the finish. |
| Race 6 | WANGANUI SECURITY C3 - C3 - 305 | OPAWA TOKEN was hampered when the start was made and settled back but he then secured a clear rails run and finished well to win the race. GO WITH IT and DONKEY DEEP bumped together going into the bend losing three lengths and they never recovered. REBEL KAHN shifted out going into the bend forcing KINETIC NEO and SECRET SPRITE to race wide into the bend covering extra ground. |
| Race 7 | HARRISON HIRE MASTER C4/5 - C4/5 - 520 | RED CRYSTAL began awkwardly making contact with WALLACE LAD on its outside and settled back. CHECK THE MAIL checked off the heels of GRADUATION going into the first bend and shifted out causing a check to RED CRYSTAL which lost two lengths. BLUE AND CURLY shifted in entering the back straight and checked GRADUATION which lost several lengths and never recovered. BLUE AND CURLY shifted in short of the finish line and crowded CHECK THE MAIL and GRADUATION which were both inconvenienced. |
| Race 8 | GARY ROSS DECORATOR C5 - C5 - 305 | EXPONENTIAL LILY, LOST IN LIGHT and COSMIC FURY jostled together for a short distance soon after the start and they settled back with LOST IN LIGHT the most affected. LOST IN LIGHT was inconvenienced going into the bend when avoiding the heels of COSMIC FURY and she lost further ground and stayed back to finish last. |
| Race 9 | THE ROCK 95.2FM C5 - C5 - 305 | SUPER ROOSTER shifted in from the start and crowded NITRO LUIS, MIGHTY EXPLOSIVE and ERUZA and they lost ground and settled back. ATE PIZZA was also hampered early in the race and he too settled back at the rear. MIGHTY EXPLOSIVE shifted in going into the bend and hampered ERUZA which went back onto ATE PIZZA and they both lost two lengths |
| Race 10 | KEENAN CONCRETE C4/5 - C4/5 - 520 | The favourite RITZA DANNY was the slowest to begin and was in last place going into the first bend when he was checked and forced wide into the bend losing further ground. Once into clear running, RITZA DANNY finiished well for 5th placing. |
| Race 11 | CROMBIE LOCKWOOD (NZ) LTD C4 - C4 - 305 | VICKI'S QUEST shifted in from the start and caused checks to TIME'S UP, ATTIRE, CHOCDEE ALICE and REBEL CITY and they were all inconvenienced for a short distance. VICKI'S QUEST shifted in going into the bend and crowded UNO ALLEGRO and REBEL CITY with UNO ALLEGRO the most affected and he went back through the field and was checked from behind by ATTIRE which was then forced wide into the bend. UNO ALLEGRO's galloping action appeared awkward following the incident and he finished last and was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have hind leg grazing but no stand down was required. |
| Race 12 | BOOK YOUR FUNCTION @ HATRICK C4 - C4 - 305 | RINGA DING shifted out from the start and caused jostling and checks to SWAPAN, AGENT JORGE and MATILDA'S BABE. RINGA DING shifted out approaching the home turn and forced MATILDA'S BABE to also go wide and they covered considerable extra ground. |
