Judicial report: SMASH MAGIC (M Grant) completed a satisfactory trial as required by Rule 81. WANDY CHLOE (M Grant) which whelped a litter of pups on 20 October 2013 completed a satisfactory trial as required by Rule 83.

Race 1	Super Pets Dash - C3 - 295	OPAWA LEAN MEAT (1) was last to jump. WEE TERRA (3) ran outwards in the early stages causing checks to THRILLING DAZE (5), JACK'S A JEWEL (6) and WAIMAK DAVE (7) who all lost ground. THRILLING DAZE ran very wide on the home turn dropping to a clear last with this bitch being referred to the vet for assessment.
Race 2	Ritchies Coachlines Dash - C4 - 295	CAWBOURNE POLLY (5) was slow to jump. SPRINKLES (7) ran inwards into the bend checking ZOE BRAND (4) who lost ground and went back on WANDY JEWEL (6) who dropped to the rear. On the home turn LYNNY SOUTHCOMBE (8) was dragged down from behind by SPRINKLES and lost momentum. ZOE BRAND was referred to the vet for assessment following this event.
Race 3	Thursday Place Pick Sprint - C3 - 295	BLUE GALE RISE (3) was a clear last at the jump. BLUE GALE RISE was then checked into the bend as JASPER HAKA (6) angled inwards.
Race 4	Clarkson Sign Studio Stakes - C3 - 520	FEAR GO (6) and DREAM COLLECTOR (7) were the last to jump. KNOW SECURITY (3) ran outwards in the run to the first bend checking DREAM COLLECTOR who lost momentum for a stride. On the first bend FEAR GO was checked and lost three lengths when crossed by BOTANY COMET (8).
Race 5	Robbie's Bar & Bistro Dash - C5 - 295	KETUT (5) and KNOW PRIDE (6) were both tightened as EXPLODABLE (7) ran inwards and DRYSDALE (3) angled outwards in the back straight. SOZIN'S COMET (8) lost some momentum into the bend when crossing and brushing with SOPHIE'S TERRA (1) for a stride. Soon after ADROIT (2) received a slight check and lost ground. KETUT ran very wide on the home turn and lost ground.
Race 6	Shirley Vet Clinic Stakes - C3/4 - 520	OPAWA JED (8) was very slow to jump. STARBURST TERRY (1) was checked from behind into the first bend and ran outwards losing ground. NOT A KNOW (6) was forced wider on the track in this incident with PINDARI (7) receiving a check in behind. PINDARI received two checks on the home turn firstly by INDI'S GRACE (2) and then by STARBURST TERRY with PINDARI dropping to the rear. Following the race STARBURST TERRY and PINDARI were both referred to the vet for assessment.
Race 7	racingdogs.co.nz Distance - C2d - 645	OPAWA NO EAR (2) was last away and then held up when attempting to recover into the first bend. CHILL OUT RALPH was checked in the early stages and lost ground. CHILL OUT RALPH ran wide with a lap to run.
Race 8	Flair Sprint - C5 - 295	KNOW LIES (2) and EXCUSE PLEASE (3) were the last pair from the jump. A line of four went to the first bend together with DAMARJO (7) and QUEDRAGO (6) both being badly tightened and checked losing ground. KNOW LIES (2) was forced very wide around these runners with RODRIGUEZ (4) also receiving a check and losing ground. EXCUSE PLEASE and QUEDRAGO collided on the home turn and lost momentum. DAMARJO faltered after receiving his check and was referred to the vet for assessment.
Race 9	Amber Cleaning Services Stakes - R/A - 520	MAGIC EMILY (4) and GRUNT RODGERS (9) both drifted to the rear in the early stages after CULVIE MAGIC (3) had shifted up the track and pushed them wider. BOTANY KEVIN (6) ran wide around the first bend when commencing to improve.
Race 10	Hampden Tavern Stakes - C5 - 520	KNOW ATTEMPT (6) was last to jump. WILD GROVE (2) was checked into the first bend and lost ground. Into the first bend NO UNDIES SUNDY (5) received a slight check and lost ground as kennelmate RUSSELL HART (1) angled outwards. CAWBOURNE WAR (4) was forced a touch wide to avoid these runners. Wider out KNOW ATTEMPT covered extra ground when improving.
Race 11	C.T.V. Dash - C5 - 295	STOLEN MONEY (2) and TAKE NO PRISONER (6) were last to jump. ANGEL NOIR (7) ran inwards in the early stages coming together with BUTTERBEAN (5). Simultaneously MARY MARLOW (1) angled outwards brushing with IONA HAKA (4). STOLEN MONEY and IONA HAKA jostled together on the home turn when well back.
Race 12	Speight's Sprint - C4 - 295	ANOTHER GROOM (3) was last to jump. BOTANY JESSIE (8) was forced wide on the home turn losing ground.
