Judicial report: MY MATE SPARROW which was a late scratching under Rule 68.26 at the meeting in Palmerston North on 19.05.14, was presented again today under the provisions of Rule 82.5 and cleared of injury and as a result, the original stand down was rescinded and MY MATE SPARROW is now clear to resume racing.

Race 1	Absolutely Electrical C0 - C0 - 305	SILVER TOKAAM and ROSA GALLICA bumped together on jumping from the boxes and they settled back. HOMEBUSH ERROL shifted in from the start and caused crowding to HOMEBUSH MINX and DARK WITCH which both lost ground. RUNS FOR GAS and BLAZE'S CORPORAL shifted out from the start and BLAZE'S CORPORAL made contact with WAIRERE MIKE with both runners becoming a little unbalanced. SILVER TOKAAM checked off the heels of DARK WITCH going into the bend and went back onto ROSA GALLICA. A short distance further on, SILVER TOKAAM galloped on the back of ROSA GALLICA and they both lost three lengths and they finished at the rear.
Race 2	Harrison Hire Master C0 - C0 - 305	HASHTAG JOSH and CAWBOURNE MALKY both began very awkwardly losing several lengths. CAWBOURNE MALKY galloped on the heels of ORACLE going into the bend and they both lost two lengths. HOMEBUSH SPIKE galloped on the back of LOLA'S QUEST on the home turn and LOLA'S QUEST was turned sideways and shifted out abruptly causing checks to FORTIS MEMORIES and BOTANY ZERO which both lost ground.
Race 3	Keenan Concrete C0 - C0 - 520	HOMEBUSH GINGER, HOMEBUSH HAPPY and TE MAARI STYLE jostled together going to the first corner and TE MAARI STYLE shifted out to race wide into the bend. A short distance further on, HOMEBUSH GINGER, HOMEBUSH HAPPY and HOMEBUSH MELVIN jostled together for some distance and all three lost ground with HOMEBUSH MELVIN the most affected and he lost four lengths and stayed back to finish in last place.
Race 4	Novice Racing Series Heat 1 - NZRSq - 520 Heat 1	BLUE REVIEW, SECONDS GOOD and WHITE LEGS were slow to begin losing three lengths. WHITE LEGS shifted in going to the first corner and checked SECONDS GOOD which lost two lengths. WHITE LEGS then shifted in and made contact with the rail going into the first bend and drifted from there to eventually finish several lengths last. WHITE LEGS was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have triangle muscle pain and a torn webbing. TAIKOREA LASS moved through inside HOMEBUSH STING entering the home straight and bumped that runner which was unbalanced and lost momentum. The warm favourite BLUE REVIEW raced into a handy position after missing the start but tired over the final stages and finished in 6th place. BLUE REVIEW had good form in its only two previous starts but they were over a sprint distance.
Race 5	Novice Racing Series Heat 2 - NZRSq - 520 Heat 2	COYOTE CAUGHT YA led to the first corner but then shortened stride and drifted back through the field and he was referred to the Vet for assessment and cleared of injury. ZAMADDIS LASS, GROOVY LEO and ELEPHANT TRUNK were all checked losing four lengths as COYOTE CAUGHT YA drifted back. DUTCHESS QUEEN shifted out entering the back straight causing checks to JINJA TURTLE and ACAPELLA which both fell but they regained their feet and finished onto the lure. JINJA TURTLE and ACAPELLA were referred to the Vet for assessment and they were both cleared of injury.
Race 6	Novice Racing Series Heat 3 - NZRSq - 520 Heat 3	PROCRASTINATION galloped onto the heels of WORKING JEWEL soon after the start and they both lost ground and settled back. UNCLE ROMILLY, HOMEBUSH CORAL and PROCRASTINATION came together and jostled going into the first corner and they all lost ground with HOMEBUSH CORAL the most affected.
Race 7	Novice Racing Series Heat 4 - NZRSq - 520 Heat 4	TAYLA HART shifted out soon after the start and bumped with ASHER which became unbalanced and lost three lengths. WORKING PIZZAZ clipped the heels of TAYLA HART entering the back straight and TAYLA HART faltered for a stride.
Race 8	Novice Racing Series Heat 5 - NZRSq - 520 Heat 5	OPEHU FLYER shifted in abruptly from the start and tightened several other runners with GUCCI RUSH and ALAMEIN KAT the most affected and they went back to the rear. METHOD MAN shifted in entering the back straight and checked BEHEMOTH which went back to last. Soon after, OPEHU FLYER galloped on the heels of GUCCI RUSH and they both lost momentum. Racing into the final bend, CURIOUS LIFE, which was in 3rd position, faltered and eased and was hit from behind by ALAMEIN KAT and knocked down. ALAMEIN KAT and BEHEMOTH were both hindered and lost ground in the incident. CURIOUS LIFE was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have suffered from cramp which had caused her to ease and no stand down was required.
Race 9	Novice Racing Series Heat 6 - NZRSq - 520 Heat 6	MOORE PARK MISS shifted in abruptly from the start and caused checks to SEMANTICS, COMEGETME and RICH LIST which was the most affected and he lost three lengths and stayed back throughout thye race. HOMEBUSH ZELDA was checked entering the back straight and went back onto COMEGETME with both losiing ground.
Race 10	Novice Racing Series Heat 7 - NZRSq - 520 Heat 7	OPAWA CUDDLES checked off the heels of ALL ABOUT AMY going into the first corner and shifted out to collide with NINA BE GOOD and they both lost ground and stayed back at the rear for the remainder of the race.
Race 11	Novice Racing Series Heat 8 - NZRSq - 520 Heat 8	OPAWA CASSIDY was slow to begin losing three lengthsbut she recovered very well to make up ground and finished in 2nd place. HAIR HE IS shifted in going into the first bend and checked ADDA BOY ZEKE which lost three lengths.
Race 12	Palamountains Scientific Nutrition C1 - C1 - 305	CHARLIE'S PAL, RIBA LORDA and MONKEY QUEEN jostled together for several strides going to the first corner and MONKEY QUEEN and RIBA LORDA eventually checked and went back to the rear. MEGA UPLOAD raced in a handy position going into the bend but shifted out to race wide covering extra ground and finished in 4th place.
Race 13	Crombie Lockwood (NZ) Ltd C1 - C1 - 305	FREEDOM FLYER began very awkwardly and shifted in colliding with UNIQUE TILLY and they both lost ground and settled back. TONGARIRO shifted out from the start and REBEL JOE shifted in which resulted them jostling with RUN MICHIEF RUN and SUB SILENTIO and all four lost some momentum. SUB SILENTIO checked off the heels of REBEL JOE and lost two lengths going into the bend.
Race 14	The Rock 95.2FM C2 - C2 - 305	HOMEBUSH ENVY was hampered soon after the start when checking across the heels of SHEIK 'EM UP. CALAMITY SUE and HOMEBUSH ANABEL bumped together going to the first corner and HOMEBUSH ANABEL lost two lengths. HOMEBUSH ENVY collided with OTTO BAXTER going into the bend and OTTO BAXTER was turned sideways and forced wide on the track..
Race 15	Non Tote C1 Sprint - Tier 2 - 305	EMPTY BANK shifted in going into the bend and checked SEDGEBROOK LAD which went back and out hampering MORNING LIGHT and they both lost ground.
