Judicial report: Trainer J McInerney was fined $50:00 under Rule 68.8 when BOTANY KEVIN (Race 7) was presented without papers. R Blackburn was fined $50:00 when OPAWA ZARA (Race 7) was without a catcher at the lure.

Race 1	Super Pets Sprint - C3 - 295	FALSE NOTION (6) and OPAWA RUFUS (7) jostled for a distance after the start .KNOW FAVOURS (3) shifted wider on the track and was checked when making firm contact with CAWBOURNE PILFER (4) coming back into the running of CEC DEVINE (5) resulting in both runners losing momentum. Shortly there after FANTASTIC FOUR (1) shifted across heels and forced CAWBOURNE PILFER into the running of BATIATUS (8). FANTASTIC FOUR continued on a outward movement and hampered BATIATUS for a short distance.
Race 2	Angler's Arms Tavern Dash - C4 - 295	Shortly after the start ELKI (1) shifted off the heels of SPRINKLES (2) and made contact with HOMEBUSH EDITH (4) and BOTANY PRANCER (7) resulting in these runners losing momentum. NOT A KNOW (5) which was trailing was hampered and made contact with HOMEBUSH EDITH when improving between runners. Into the home straight HOMEBUSH EDITH and BOTANY PRANCER were unbalanced momentarily when making firm contact.
Race 3	Thursday Place Pick Dash - C3 - 295	GEORGIE WONG (5) was unbalanced when contacted from the inside by KNOW TRUST (2) shortly after the start. WILL EXCITE (1) shifted off the running line and forced KNOW TRUST wider resulting in GEORGIE WONG being checked and losing ground. Shortly thereafter TEAM DREAM (7) was checked due to these runners continuing on an outward movement.
Race 4	Shirley Vet Clinic Sprint - C5 - 295	KNOW PRIDE (4) was slow to begin . ANOTHER JEWEL (7) was slow through the initial stages . ZEBIDIAH (5) and RUSTY KNIFE (6) made firm contact on jumping. In the run to the first turn LIFE'S A LAUGH (2) shifted wider on the track checking ZEBIDIAH ,which lost all chance , and hampering RUSTY KNIFE.
Race 5	Garden City Chem-Dry Feature - C3 - 520	HIS LORDSHIP (2) was slow to begin . Shortly after the start BOTANY COMET (3) had to check when tightened between BRONELLY BOY (1) and RAMBUNCTIOUS (5). RAMBUNCTIOUS, HOMEBUSH IRIS (7) and WAIMAK DAVE (8) came together and jostled when racing into the first bend. HOMEBUSH IRIS was checked and lost ground as a result. FEAR GO (4) forced CAWBOURNE FLOYD (6) and HIS LORDSHIP over extra ground when shifting off the heels HOMEBUSH IRIS rounding the bend.
Race 6	Garrard's Horse & Hound Sprint - C3 - 295	JASPER HAKA (3) and OPAWA NATTY (8) were slow through the initial stages. JACK'S A JEWEL (5) shifted wider on the track and hampered CAMPAIGNER (9) in the run to the first bend. Following the race OPAWA NATTY was referred to the vet for assessment.
Race 7	Kolorful Kanvas Feature - R/A - 520	BOTANY KEVIN (8) was very slow to begin. CULVIE MAGIC (2) and AMBILIGHT (4) jostled when in tight quarters in the run to the first bend losing momentum. Shortly there after OPAWA ZARA (1) when improving made firm contact with AMBILIGHT shifting that runner abruptly wider on the track .OPAWA STRETCH (5) was also hampered in this incident. OPAWA ZARA and BOTANY KEVIN jostled rounding the first bend. OPAWA ZARA checked across heels on entering the home straight.
Race 8	racingdogs.co.nz Sprint - C5 - 295	DRYSDALE (2) shifted wider on the track shortly after the start and forced STING ME (3) into the line of CAWBOURNE DASHER (7) resulting in both runners being badly checked and losing all chance. CAWBOURNE DASHER and STING ME jostled rounding the bend when well back .
Race 9	David Emerson Consultancy Dash - C5 - 295	SMASH RUMOUR (5) and MORE BETTER (6) jostled for a distance in the run to the first bend when well back in the field. TWO WAYS (3) and RODRIGUEZ (2) jostled rounding the bend with TWO WAYS losing momentum.
Race 10	Robbie's Bar & Bistro Stakes - C5 - 520	TRAVELLING JOE (5) was slow to begin . OPAWA NO EAR (7) was slow through the initial stages. WILD GROVE (4) was hampered shortly after the start when WHAT I LIKE (3) shifted outwards. The strapping on the right hind leg of CAWBOURNE PHILIP unraveled from the end of the back straight working loose at the lure . J McInerney Jr was reminded of his obligations.
Race 11	I Pave Concrete Dash - C5 - 295	PEARL'S BOY (4), MARY MARLOW (5) and SOPHIE'S TERRA (6) all jostled for a distance after the start resulting in these runners being unbalanced racing into the first bend. PEARL'S BOY was further hampered and lost ground when KNOW LIES (3) improved to the inside shortly there after .
Race 12	Speight's Sprint - C4 - 295	BLUE GALE RISE (8) was slow to begin . BLUE GALE RISE was checked between BOTANY JESSIE (4) and OPAWA STYLE (5) in the run to the first bend. Rounding the bend STAR DREAMER (9) and BOTANY JESSIE came together with both runners being unbalanced for a short distance. BLUE GALE RISE was further hampered in this incident.
