Race 1	Awapuni Stakes C0 - C0 - 457	FANTAS FICTION and CEE ACH GEE were both slow to begin and settled at the rear of the field. ICAHN was inclined to make it's run wide throughout. FANTAS FICTION was checked rounding the bend when attempting to improve into a run between HOMEBUSH MAGIC and the running rail. The connections of FANTAS FICTION requested that dog be examined by the Veterinarian following the race and was found to have a Left hip support injury.
Race 2	Woodville Dash C0 - C0 - 375	SHINZIGZAG was obliged to make its run wide over the early stages of the bend, cutting back to the inside shortly after. FIJIAN DANDY shifted out rounding the bend onto the heels of GO MAX which as a result was dragged down, eventually falling. Hampered as a result was ADDIS MATE which was trailing. FIJIAN DANDY raced wide for the remainder. GO MAX was referred to the Veterinarian for assessment.
Race 3	Happy Birthday Eileen Huntly C1 Heat 1 - C1q - 375 Heat 1	ALAMEIN DUKE and TIME FOR WHAT from the outside two boxes were the slowest to begin. BLACK MAGIC ROCK shifted in abruptly from the boxes forcing MONKEY QUEEN down the track. BOOT THE CASH shifted out rounding the bend forcing ALAMEIN DUKE wider. Entering the home straight ALAMEIN DUKE shifted out across the heels of MONKEY QUEEN to obtain clear running.
Race 4	Manawatu Raceway C1 Heat 2 - C1q - 375 Heat 2	ALAMEIN KAT shifted in abruptly approaching the bend forcing CAWBOURNE TIP into the line of KING'S SELECTION which was checked. ALAMEIN KAT continued to shift ground inwards crowding CAWBOURNE TIP shortly after. CAWBOURNE TIP shifted out rounding the bend impeding the progress of VINNIE BAXTER momentarily. LITTLE ARTHUR raced wide for the majority of the race. When racing at the rear of the field, LITTLE ARTHUR and KING'S SELECTION bumped entering the home straight.
Race 5	Peter Sinclair Photo Finish C1 Heat 3 - C1q - 375 Heat 3	BOOMERANG MAN angled in shortly after the start crowding COSMIC RASCAL, BELLE CADEAU, SUE SEWS SOCKS and EMPTY BANK which was checked. Shortly after COSMIC RASCAL shifted out checking BELLE CADEAU out onto EMPTY BACK, resulting in both runners losing several lengths. BELLE CADEAU and EMPTY BANK when improving at rear of the field, bumped on two occasions entering the home straight. WOLF MARINE when attempting a run to the inside of BOOMERANG MAN, clipped that runners heels and blundered effectively losing its chance in the race. WOLF MARINE was referred the the Veterinarian for assessment and found to have a Right tricep injury.
Race 6	Marton Stakes C2 Heat 1 - C2q - 457 Heat 1	OPAWA JAY and ALPINADOR were slow to begin. LOO LOO BLUE shifted in from the boxes bumping with CIDER DRINKA. DOGGED DAN and OPAWA JAY came together and bumped entering the home straight.
Race 7	www.racingdogs.co.nz C2 Heat 2 - C2q - 457 Heat 2	RUTH'S RAIDER from it's wide box draw was obliged to make it's run wide throughout covering extra ground. PSEUDONYM shifted out abruptly approaching the first bend in search of clear racing room.
Race 8	Ashhurst Dash C2 - C2 - 375	DASHER RUM angled in abruptly from the boxes crowding HOMEBUSH ALEX, SHEIK 'EM UP, CHELSEAS BABE and FANTA'S FEVER. KEZZ was slow to begin however recovered quickly to be in the main body of the field approaching the bend. KEZZ was then forced to race wider along with HOMEBUSH ALEX after MISSY SLOY shifted out.
Race 9	Cloverlea Dash C3 - C3 - 375	ANOTHER DRINK and KASIM both shifted ground leaving the boxes resulting in NOT BAD being jostled. ANOTHER DRINK was crowded approaching the bend between NOT BAD and HOMEBUSH VERONA which shifted out. The connections of TIME TO FIND requested that dog be examined by the Veterinarian following the race and was found to have a Right claw injury.
Race 10	Shannon Dash C4 - C4 - 375	RINGA DING was a late scratching due to a communication error between club officials and the Kennel manager. KAZILLION shifted in abruptly from the boxes tightening TALK IT OVER which lost ground and settled toward the rear of the field. GO FERN GO after bumping with HEY YOU on several occasions approaching the first bend, was crowded shortly after and lost ground.
Race 11	www.thedogs.co.nz C4 - C4 - 375	ENABLE shifted out shortly after jumping away crowding YA LAUGHIN' which lost ground and went back onto EVER SO HOPEFUL which was momentarily hampered. When racing in tight quarters rounding the bend, HOMEBUSH SARGE contacted a heel of YA LAUGHIN' which resulted in HOMEBUSH SARGE losing it's footing and falling to the track. YA LAUGHIN' was dragged down in the incident and lost considerable ground with the trailing EVER SO HOPEFUL being hampered by this runner. HOMEBUSH SARGE regained it's footing and finished at the lure. HOMEBUSH SARGE was referred to the Veterinarian and found to have bruising to both hind legs. ZIPPING TAY and OPAWA WALLY came together and brushed over the initial stages of the home straight.
Race 12	Feilding Dash C5 - C5 - 375	LOST IN LIGHT was the slowest to begin. POPSOME TAGS shifted in abruptly from the boxes making heavy contact with UNO ORANGE which in turn bumped with SIR RICHIE. Shortly after BOLT RAMA angled in crowding POPSOME TAGS, UNO ORANGE and SIR RICHIE.
Race 13	Foxton Stakes C3/4 - C3/4 - 457	FLYING MOE angled wider along the back straight into the line of NONU NONU BOOM which had to check in off FLYING MOE'S heels. CRUSHED MONKEY shifted in along the back straight tightening SPACE RACE, JOHNNY RITZA and KNUCKLE BUMP with all three runners losing ground. KNUCKLE BUMP recovered well and ran home strongly finishing fourth at the line.
Race 14	See You Next Monday C5 - C5 - 457	BIGTIME DASHER shifted out approaching the bend hampering WAY TOO CRUDE and BIGTIME JET with both runners losing ground. The connections of WAY TOO CRUDE requested that dog be examined by the Veterinarian following the race and was found to have a Right muscle injury.
