| Race 1 | Peter Campbell Engravers Petone C2 - C2 - 520 | MR. DARCI was slow to begin and settled back. He then brushed against the rail when improving going into the first bend and shifted out and bumped CAWBOURNE KIM which lost three lengths. MR. DARCI then bumped with I'M A CATCH going into the back straight and I'M A CATCH lost four lengths. |
| Race 2 | Distance Feature C1D - C1d - 645 | THRILLING REBEL checked off the back of KING'S LEGACY a short distance after the start and went back to last. SASHA'S ONE checked off the heels of PHONE TAP soon after and shifted out forcing JONESY'S FORTUNE and LOCHINVAR CAMARO very wide on the first bend over extra ground and they stayed back for the remainder of the race and finished in the last two places. |
| Race 3 | Capital Paving and Lanscaping NZ Futurity Ht1 (Gp1) - R/Aq - 520 Heat 1 | THRILLING BUTCHA and MY SQUIZZY appeared to brush together for a short distance when leading the field on the first bend and they both became unbalanced losing ground. This allowed ANDREA to move through on the inside to the lead and she was never headed and went on to win the race. The Stewards suspected that THRILLING BUTCHA had turned its head out towards MY SQUIZZY on that first bend but the available films did not confirm this conclusively to the point where the Stewards would be confident that a charge of Non Pursuit would stand the scrutiny of an appeal and so no further action was taken. However Trainer K. Walsh was shown DVD film of the race and the concerns of the Stewards were conveyed to her. |
| Race 4 | Capital Paving and Lanscaping NZ Futurity Ht2 (Gp1) - R/Aq - 520 Heat 2 | ZIPPING ORRICK was the slowest to begin and settled back and he then ran wide on the first bend over extra ground. |
| Race 5 | Capital Paving and Lanscaping NZ Futurity Ht3 (Gp1) - R/Aq - 520 Heat 3 | The start was delayed by 3 minutes at the request of T.A.B Control. KWASANT shifted out from the start and SASSY ROAD shifted in and this resulted in checks to AMBILIGHT, BEV'S VIEWPOINT and CAWBOURNE ABBI with BEV'S VIEWPOINT falling but she regained her feet and finished onto the lure. She was referred to the Vet for assessment and cleared of injury. CAWBOURNE ABBI shifted out going into the first corner and caused a check to OPAWA TOM which lost two lengths. |
| Race 6 | Capital Paving and Lanscaping NZ Futurity Ht 4 (Gp1) - R/Aq - 520 Heat 4 | CAESAR CHANCE and CIDER DRINKA were slow to begin and settled at the rear. CIDER DRINKA checked off the back of CAWBOURNE WAR going into the back straight losing two lengths and he tailed the field from there to the finish. |
| Race 7 | Capital Paving and Lanscaping NZ Futurity Ht 5 (Gp1) - R/Aq - 520 Heat 5 | THRILLING ZOOM and HIS LORDSHIP began awkwardly and settled back. HARPER ROSE shifted out abruptly from the start and checked COLD TURKEY which settled back in the field and stayed there throughout. ETERNAL MAGIC led into the first corner but went off stride soon after and drifted back to eventually finish several lengths last. She was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have a long head tricep muscle injury. |
| Race 8 | Anglo Upholsterers Ltd Seaview C4/5 - C4/5 - 520 | MAMMY BROWN shifted in going into the first corner and crowded SPEED LEGEND which was checked and went back to last. RITZA JACK was crowded and went off stride going into the back straight and he went back through the field to last and stayed there for the remainder of the race. RITZA JACK was referred to the Vet for assessment and cleared of injury. SPEED LEGEND was checked and lost two lengths going into the final bend when BIGTIME JET and MAMMY BROWN improved on its outside. |
| Race 9 | Capital Paving and Lanscaping NZ Futurity Ht 6 (Gp1) - R/Aq - 520 Heat 6 | BLUE AND CURLY was checked on two occasions going into the back straight and he lost several lengths, went back to last place and stayed there to finish in that position. |
| Race 10 | Premier Sprint C5 Ht 1 - C5q - 305 Heat 1 | RUN STACEY RUN began awkwardly losing two lengths. HOMEBUSH CRASH shifted in from the start and DOLLY PEG shifted out and this resulted in checks to SIR RICHIE, CAWBOURNE QUEEN and UNO ALLEGRO which all lost ground with CAWBOURNE QUEEN the most affected and she almost fell losing several lengths. SIR RICHIE shifted in going into the bend and checked DOLLY PEG which lost two lengths. |
| Race 11 | Premier Sprint C5 Ht 2 - C5q - 305 Heat 2 | WATERBUG and EMBEE DEE jostled together when the start was made and lost three lengths. EXPONENTIAL LILY shifted in going into the bend and crowded NITRO LUIS which shifted out slightly dictating the line of DOWN THE BACK. This resulted in ENAZUMA and WATERBUG racig on the outside being forced wide into the bend over extra ground. |
| Race 12 | Premier Sprint C5 Ht 3 - C5q - 305 Heat 3 | COSMIC FURY and BIG JAMESY were a little slow to begin losing two lengths but they recovered well to finish in 2nd and 3rd places. The leader RUN LACEY RUN shifted in going into the bend and hampered DANATO which went back a couple of places and collided with STARLA. DANATO suffered the most in the contact and lost several lengths and finished last. NGAURUHOE shifted out slightly going into the bend and made contact with ERUZA which lost three lengths in the incident and never recovered. |
